Another 4 days went by without any problem, Tiara got bored in her small room while the women were monitoring her. Their parents and the men kept coming to check on her never letting her feel alone but Sam always came outside of the lab but could bring himself to meet her and face her, His heart always started to beat fast whenever he go near the lab, His one step brought him closer to her but another pulled him back. He wanted to see her and apologize but the shame inside him always won stopping him from meeting her. At last, He gave up thinking that he won't ever meet her after they get out of there anyway. The parents were always happy whenever they went to see her, they didn't talk directly but it didn't seem a problem to them but they wished that they could learn English or she could learn their language because they wanted to talk to her properly.
They freed Tiara after making sure that she wasn't infected at all. Everyone was waiting outside of the lab while she was collecting her things and talking to the staff who were monitoring her about something, their expressions weren't one of happy ones. She came outside of the lab and smiled at everyone but got surprised by the sudden four arms around her body. Mrs. Kang and Mrs. Kim hugged her tightly and after a moment she hugged them back happily like a daughter will hug her mother, Their bond got stronger over time without any direct words to each other. Mrs. Kang pulled out from the hug and kissed her forehead and made a crying face while Mrs. Kim pulled out of the hug as well. "Don't cry." Tiara said sweetly after looking at their teary eyes while Sam and KR pulled their mothers away from her and tried to stop them from crying.
"My flight is in 4 hours," Tiara informed them, some of them were smiling and others were trying to smile but it could be seen that their smile wasn't from their heart but forced. "That's good." Ian said because no one else said anything which was making it awkward, It was hard for them to say goodbye to their savior, their friend, and their youngest and strongest soldier. "Yep, I need to do something before that." She said and smirked slightly, the devil thought roaming around her head. "What?" Jose quickly asked her. "Just wait and watch." She said and grinned innocently. "Let's go somewhere else." She said cheerfully. "Well, We prepared something," KR said shyly. "What?" She asked him, curiously. "Don't ask, Just follow us." Nolan said, happily while Jose came to her and wrapped his arms around her shoulders. "Come on." He said looking at her and starting to drag her somewhere while she just kept looking at him without blinking, holding her breath back as long as she could.
They brought her to one of their rooms which was decorated with white and golden balloons, a cake was kept in the middle of the room on the table. "Surprise!" They screamed together while Sam said in a low voice and she held her ears because of their screams. "What's this for?" She asked cheerfully. "A farewell party. We wanted to spend our last day together with good memories." Ezra answered her, a grin plastered to his face. "That's such an awesome idea." She jumped joyfully. "It was Sam's idea." Ian informed her happily but thought what he said, Her smile dropped for a few seconds, and looked at Sam who was trying to avoid her gaze. 'He isn't that bad.' She thought and smiled again. "Thank you!" She said in a loud voice making Sam surprised and looked in her direction quickly to make sure that she was thanking him. "Mention not." He replied to her, hesitantly. She smiled at him making everyone adore her forgiving and understanding nature.
She started to walk toward the cake to have a proper look at it but stopped when she saw what was written on the cake. She turned around having a done face. "Miss Zombie? Seriously?" She asked them. "I think farewell would have been better." She added. "No, Farewell wouldn't be that much creative." Nolan said while everyone walked toward the cake and stood around it. "And whose creativity is it?" She raised an eyebrow and asked but she could guess whose idea it was. "Namgil." Joy answered her with teasing. "Namgil? KR, right?" She asked to confirm. "Of course, I am offended you don't remember my name." KR said making out a crying face but then laughed. "You should be happy that I even remember KR." She said sarcastically still standing a bit away from the cake. "Aahh, I am feeling blessed." He said and put his right palm on his left chest smiling and she laughed at his acting. "Let's just cut the cake! Can we!?" Ian yelled at them and everyone laughed.
Tiara moved to the corner where Mr. Min was standing to be part of the cake-cutting. "Yaahh!! Come here!" Joy said in a loud voice and pointed at the center beside him. "Me?" She pointed her index finger to herself and asked. "Yes, You!" Vin answered her happily and gestured for her to come. She nodded and started to walk toward them when the door opened and their fan who told them the direction to her came inside.
"You came at the right time, Lee!" Joy said happily in Korean while Lee smiled. "We were just about to cut the cake." KR informed him and then Lee started to look at each one of them, scanning everyone's face, and then moved his gaze to Tiara again who moved to the center. "Can you take pictures of us?" Joy asked him in Korean shoving his phone in front of him. "Of course." He said and took his phone out of his hand. "Are you okay with it?" KR asked softly to her. " Of course!" She replied to him and gave him a big smile. "But why did you choose Miss Zombie again even for the cake!?" She whined after looking at the cake again.
"Because you saved us." Vin asked her with his sweetest soft voice. "Yes, If you weren't with us then we wouldn't be here." Ezra continued after Vin. "You were the one who kept us together and safe." KR explained right after Ezra while her eyes were shifting each time the other one spoke. "If you weren't there then we wouldn't have smiled even once in this hard time. You were the reason for our smiles in this hard time mostly." Jose told her bending down to her height level to look properly at her reaction while she just held her breath not believing. "You were my safe place. Every time... I was in danger... you were there to protect me." JJ confessed to her from the bottom of his heart, She smiled at him trying to control her tears. "You know? You always... scold me that I should fight but do you know why I don't?" Joy asked her in a low soft voice, She shook her face saying no. "Because I trust you... with my life." Joy told her and she lowered her head and scratched her nose to hide her crying state but this time no one tried to stop her because they knew it wasn't out of sadness but out of happiness this time. "We were lost like puppies whenever you weren't around us." Nolan told her and laughed while she laughed too with teary eyes. "You are the youngest between us. Yet, You were the one who handled, planned, and guided us through it." Ian said softly and made her even more teary, Her heart clenched at their words making it heavy which was making her breath heavy within it as well but she held herself back from crying.
Meanwhile, Sam was feeling a burden in his heart because everyone was confessing their feelings and gratitude towards her while he was the biggest culprit of her. He wanted to apologize to her but he was holding himself back because he didn't want to spoil the mood with his words. He parted his shaking lips to say but no words came out of his mouth but then he felt an arm on his shoulders. He turned his head to look at the owner of the arms, It was Ezra who was looking at him from the start and could guess what he was trying to do.
"Just do it. It's not too late." Ezra encouraged him to apologize stopping Sam to blame himself for his entire life. He didn't say anything and shifted his eyes back to her thinking about something. "I know she will forgive you. If it's what you are afraid of." He whispered again and patted his shoulders before pulling his arms to himself.
"I-I…" Sam stuttered to apologize but he grabbed everyone's attention as well. He took a deep breath because he knew it was one of its now or never situations. "I'm sorry, Tiara. I know I was wrong… I..was…ju-just scared." He apologized taking the burden off his heart and started to sob a little. She looked at him with a sad look feeling sorry for him because she knew that he wasn't a bad person it was just a situation that pushed him to do wrong and she was aware of how everyone else treated him after that. "I am sorry. Yo-You saved us…but I-" He stuttered said and started to sob even louder while she let out a deep heavy breath from her mouth.
"I forgive you." She forgave him, being a bigger person shocking everyone else including Sam because she just forgave him easily after what he had done to her. "I won't lie that I wasn't angry with you but when I was in that room… I put myself in your place and tried to think why you did that. I understood, I…" She started to explain why she forgave him after looking at everyone's shocked expressions but stopped thinking about something. "I, myself said that don't hesitate to take steps if anything happens to any of us back when we were in the bus. So, I can't blame you… but yes… I am a little hurt that you didn't even think once to give me a chance when you were… you know?" She said and accepted that it hurt her when he tried to make her fall down from the helicopter. "But it's all okay." She added quickly trying to keep up the happy vibes and Sam smiled bitterly.
"I'm sorry." He apologized to her one last time and hung his head low sadly. "Cheer up! We don't want anyone sad today, do we?" Ezra said cheerfully wrapping his arms around Sam's shoulder again and Everyone giggled a little after looking at his behavior.
Mrs. Kang cleared her throat taking everyone's attention upon her. "I always wanted a daughter... I think I got a daughter's love in these past few days. Thanks to you" Mrs. Kang said making Tiara shock with her English. "Don't be surprised, She has been practicing for a whole day for this one sentence." KR whispered to her while she shook her head vibrantly and a sob escape from her mouth. She smiled widely while a few drops of tears escaped from her eye's cage. "Thank you for making our days brighter and allowing us to treat you like our daughter." Mrs. Kim said after Mrs. Kang gave her another shock and then she looked at KR again who just nodded telling her that she did the same. She opened her mouth to say something but no words came out of her mouth, She closed her eyes to control her emotions but failed miserably. She burst out in tears of happiness while everyone took her in a group hug, They were looking like a big happy family while hugging. 'Why are they so big, I can't breathe.' She complained mentally. 'Wait… I meant… Their height! Height! Ugh, shut up stupid brain!' She knitted her brows and tried to calm her mind while she was stuck between the muscular men around her.
Meanwhile, Lee was looking at them confusingly. 'Should I click their pictures like this or not? They are hugging… Should I or Should I not?' He debated with himself whether he should click or not. 'Ahh, He can delete it if he doesn't want it afterward.' He thought and started to click the pictures anyway.
They broke out of the huge group hug and looked at each other happily while Tiara tried to catch her breath. "Shall we?" Vin asked her after picking up the knife from the table and gesturing for her to take it. "No, I want to say something too." She said and rose her eyes up from the knife to turn to everyone beside her.
"I never said it but if you all weren't there then I wouldn't be able to even protect myself. It wasn't just me who protected everyone but all of you were the ones who protected each other including me. We are here not because of me... We are safely here because we were each other's strength. If I gave you a reason to smile then you all were the reason behind my smile as well. If I was your safe place then you all made me feel at home." She started her little speech filling everyone's heart with emotion of joy and then she slowly turned her head to the ladies. 'I would have just flown away if you weren't with me instead of fighting.' She thought and giggled before continuing.
"You both gave me the motherly love I was craving in this hard time." She said to Mrs. Kang and Mrs. Kim while they both look confused but smiled. KR was about to translate her words to them but Sam stopped them and translated instead making their smile even bigger with teary eyes. She took a deep breath and looked at Vin. "Thank you for believing in me from the start." Tiara thanked him in a low soft voice with a smile as she remembered how he supported her when she suggested going out and bringing the parents to their room and was ready to go because she said so.
He smiled shyly and looked into her eyes. "I will keep believing in you. Don't thank me for it because... if you do then you will need to thank me... your whole life." He bend down a little close to her face and whispered to her just a few inches away from her lips but she didn't take a step away from him, she was just looking into his deep eyes which were filled with adoration. He stood straight just after he completed his sentence somehow. "Your English is good... with that accent..." She spilled the truth from her mouth and kept looking at him with a surprised face. "I am trying to learn." He answered her telling her about what he has been doing in the past few days. She was speechless but smiled.
"Let's cut the cake!" Tiara said in a loud voice trying to avoid the previous moment. She held the knife while some people who were close to her held her hand to cut the cake together and other people touched each other for the photos. Joy, Vin, and Joy were the only ones who held her hand properly to cut the cake. Vin could feel the happiness inside himself as soon as he held her hand, her hand felt soft to him making him realize that his hands were rough according to hers, He hesitated to keep holding her hand not wanting her to find out that his hands were rough to hold.
JJ was happy inside to cut the cake with her, His whole arms were touching her arms and jawline because he was standing behind her and holding her hand softly afraid to harm her with a tight hold. Tiara could feel his heartbeats from the back of her head which were beating like drums.
Joy was standing beside her, happy like everyone else in the room. He wasn't seeming much affected by her and holding her hand casually but he felt her hand softer than his, He could feel the softness, warmness, and sensational on her skin indicating that she never did any hard work with her hands.
They cut the cake but no one dared to pick up the cake's cream to put on each other faces because they weren't aware of how the other one reacted to it which may spoil the happy mood in the room. They ate the cake but Tiara didn't like the blueberry flavor of the cake, She was more of a red velvet or chocolate person. She didn't complain about it and ate it happily anyway because she didn't want to disappoint them by doing so.
They enjoyed their last moment without thinking about who were they, where they were from, the language difference between them, or any other stuff. They were just being themselves as an individual enjoying their farewell with the people they got attached to. In the end, They took a group photo where Tiara was sitting on the sofa with Mrs. Kang and Mrs. Kim sitting on either side of her and all men standing and sitting around the sofa. They all smiled to the fullest for the photo.
They enjoyed it for 2 hours, "Okay, I should go now. Thank you so much for this." Tiara bowed her head to say goodbye. "2 hours are left." Ian told her and gestured for her to stay in the party room for a bit longer. "No, I told you that I need to do something before I go." Tiara waved her hands in denial that she can't stay. "What do you need to do?" KR asked her curiously. "Do you wanna see?" She asked him playfully while everyone got confused. "Come, if you want. I don't have time." Tiara said and turned to go out of the room while everyone stood up to follow her but Vin ran to his room to grab something.
Tiara moved hurriedly into the building to reach somewhere and then she stopped in front of a gate where two officers with some women that were monitoring her were standing, probably waiting for her. Everyone was confused about what was going on after looking at the officers and women. One of the women nodded to Tiara telling her something while she smirked and nodded back slightly. She turned to the officers and tilted her head a little and pointed to the door in front of them with her index finger.
