When Jojo and the others arrived at the village with the car they had rented, Alice and Freya seemed to be having girl talk with each other, wide smiles on their faces.
To the left of Alice, Edward was sitting absentmindedly, looking at the forest in deep thought.
"The forest is quite beautiful, but we came here though..."

When Rosalie mentioned how beautiful the forest was, it earned a chuckle from Jojo, seeing her like this.

"Well, this forest holds something scarier than you think."
Hearing Jojo's chuckle, Rosalie looked at him with a pout, to which Jojo replied, looking inside the forest with narrowed eyes.
He had already felt the disgusting aura and smell coming from the forest.
When they went deeper, the aura and smell got several times stronger.

"Hey, Edward, why are you keeping that face?"
Rolling her eyes at Jojo's antics, Rosalie looked at Edward, who had only spoken one word, "OK," when they rented the car and had been sitting silently in the back seat.

But Jojo knew it had something to do with Rosalie, who was giving a death glare to Emmette when Jojo tried to get him on board and he nearly agreed but was stopped by the glare.
They gave some unreasonable reasoning like the weather is good and they needed to go and enjoy nature.
When they were about to leave, Esme called Jojo and asked him to take Edward with him.

She wanted both of them to have some fresh air regarding their relationship.
So she wanted Edward to experience new things, which might help him solve his problems.

When Edward heard Esme wanted to send him with Jojo, he refused outright.
But he was forced by Esme, who somehow threatened him with her calm smile and some talking.

While they were bickering, suddenly a black shadow jumped out of the bush on the side of the forest.

Looking at the scene, something suddenly jumped before the car. Jojo turned the steering wheel to the left and pressed the brake. With a drift, the car came to a halt.
There was a moment of silence...

All of their eyes turned to look at the black dog, which was growling at them without flinching, even though the car was just a few centimetres away from hitting it.

"What is this foul smell? I have never smelled something like this."
Smelling the foul odour coming from the dog, Edward couldn't control himself and vomited in black inside the car.
"Fuck you! Edward, after arriving at our destination, clean it."
Seeing Edward vomit inside the car, Rosalie's face darkened and she cursed him.
"I can't take it, damn... why does this dog smell like shit? No, maybe even shit is better."
Looking at the mess he had caused, Edward looked embarrassed and confused, eyeing the dog with disgust.
He turned to look at his sisters and noticed they were holding their noses, including Freya, while Alice was trying to control the snicker on her face.

Reading Alice's mind, his eyes widened, knowing she had played a prank on him by not informing him about this even though she had a vision.
'Wait, when did she have a vision?'
Noticing the confused look Edward was giving her, Alice coughed twice.
"Well, you seem to be absorbed in your world though... I thought you might already know by reading my mind as always."
Alice chuckled and pointed at the dog outside the window.
"Jojo, is this..."
Freya was looking at the dog outside curiously and was about to ask him.
"Yeah... it's one of them."
Jojo nodded his head, opened his door, and got out of the car.
The others too got out of the car and looked at the dog, which was still standing, looking at them menacingly, not taking its eyes off them.

Seeing this, all four of them were surprised except Jojo, because all the animals would fear them due to their instincts and run away just having eye contact with them.
But the dog before them looked at them like they were its prey.
Growl~
Noticing the visitors didn't seem to emit the smell of fear, the dog once again tried to intimidate them, showing its sharp teeth in its mouth.

"Doggie... doggie... DOGGIE..."
Buff~
Jojo, who was shaking his head with a sigh, suddenly transformed into his Ghost Rider form, which startled the dog, making it take a few steps back, eyeing the Ghost Rider worriedly.

Noticing the human suddenly transforming into a flaming monster, the dog started to bark aggressively.
"Are you going to kill it?"
Looking at the Ghost Rider before him, Edward asked, looking serious.
When his brothers and sisters, even his parents, told him about the things they experienced solving DMC, he didn't take it very seriously.
But looking at the disgusting dog before him, he got hooked by the situation.

Ghost Rider shook his head and started slowly walking towards the dog, which took some steps back.
"Pet??? Are you serious? Can't you smell it..."
Hearing Jojo wanted the dog as his pet, Edward couldn't believe his ears.

Not answering Edward's complaint about the foul smell from the dog, Ghost Rider moved in a blur in front of the dog.
His hands took hold of the dog's head and lifted it.
Whining~ howling~
Experiencing the heat increase in its head, the dog started to struggle in pain, trying its best to free itself from the Ghost Rider's grip.
"LET ME END YOUR SUFFERING... YOU ARE A FAITHFUL DOG, HUH... DON'T BLAME YOURSELF FOR NOT BEING ABLE TO SAVE YOUR OWNER. LET ME FREE YOU FROM THE DEMON'S CLUTCHES..."
Looking at the sins of the dog before him, Ghost Rider, with a little comfort, spread the fire to the dog's body and burned it completely into ashes, leaving behind only the dog's skeleton.
After the struggle came to a halt, Ghost Rider put the dog's skeleton down, which was still burning.
"Huh... how are you going to turn it into your pet?"
Looking at the skeleton still burning with fire lying on the ground, Freya asked him confusedly.

Before the Ghost Rider could answer, the dog's skeletal body began to twitch and the flames became vibrant like its fur.
The dog got up from the ground.

The dog that came back alive huffed happily and licked the Ghost Rider's face with its tongue made of magma.
Its tail was swinging rapidly, indicating its mood.

"WHAT'S YOUR NAME, BOY?"
Receiving the love from the energetic dog in the form of licking, the Ghost Rider asked it for its name.

"OH... YOUR NAME IS BIFFER. HUH..."
Seeing both the dog and Jojo were communicating easily, Freya's interest perked up, and she went near them and crouched down to look at the dog.
She examined it, seeing how the dog was with a twinkle in her eyes.

"YOU GO, BOY... WE WILL BE TRAILING BEHIND."
Ghost Rider, who was petting Biffer's head, suddenly halted and looked in the direction where Louis's house was present.

With a huff and a nod, Biffer ran towards Louis's house at high speed, leaving behind trails of its footprints in the fire.
"ROSE... YOU AND ALICE TAKE THE CAR TO THE LOCATION. WHILE OTHERS FOLLOW ME. WE ARE LEAVING FIRST."
After instructing Rosalie to drive the car to Louis's house, he asked others to follow him to the house.

In a blur, they moved fast using their superhuman speed, while the Ghost Rider was leaving a trail behind like a shooting star.
Louis's house...
Louis, with his hair dishevelled and dark circles under his eyes, looked at his daughter in panic while Rachel was frightened, looking at Ellie.
"Ellie, stop. Don't do it... he is your brother. Put him down now and put the knife away."
Seeing Ellie holding a sharp kitchen knife to Gage's neck while holding him tightly, Louis was desperate.
"What did you do to our daughter, Louis? How is she alive?"
Looking at Ellie before her, who was dead but now standing alive, Rachel screamed angrily at Louis.
Even though Ellie was standing before her, she could feel something was very wrong with her.
"I... I just... wanted our daughter back..."
With a guilt-filled look, Louis looked at Rachel with eyes filled with tears, appearing helpless.

"You are the one who brought me back to life, Father. Then why do you need me dead? Don't you love me? Did Ellie do something that made you hate me?"
Ellie's demeanour changed, and she asked Louis in a low voice with tears streaming from her eyes.
Looking at Ellie's face, Louis stopped, not knowing what to say.
"No!!! You are not my daughter. She would never try to kill her brother."
Seeing Louis hesitating and looking at Ellie with a guilt-filled look, which made him fall into her trap, just when she was about to stab Louis, who looked distracted,
Noticing this, Rachel, with a scream, swung the baseball bat at Ellie, who had just moved to stab Louis in his chest.
