(JASPER'S MEMORY)
In the realm of science and ambition, where dreams soared like dragons taking flight, young Jasper Ford had once stood as a prodigy among mere mortals.
His mind, an alchemist's cauldron, brewed equations and innovations that promised to unlock the heavens.
CYBERIA, the wondrous creation borne from his genius, was meant to be the key to interstellar realms, a gateway to the stars themselves.
As the largest and most advanced shuttle ever built, it represented the pinnacle of Jasper's visionary designs and technological advancements.
The expectations and excitement surrounding the rocket's maiden voyage were immense.
Yet, as with all tales of grandeur, darkness too found its place in the cosmic dance.
Like a shadow stalking its prey, the unforeseen flaw in the engine's design had lain in wait, biding its time until the very moment of triumph.
The explosion that followed was a cataclysmic nightmare, devouring hope in sinister flames, leaving behind screams and sirens in its wake.
Jasper, once the harbinger of humanity's dreams, now stood frozen, a statue carved from the depths of despair.
His calculations, once thought perfect, had crumbled like ancient ruins under the weight of fate's cruel decree.

LITHENIUM, a volatile and enigmatic element of immense power, had proven too wild to be tamed.
Young Ford had introduced the peculiar chemical compound as high-speed rocket fuel.
Also known as Luminite, the highly energetic fuel source was harnessed to power rockets, enabling them to move at the speed of light.
Composed of exotic particles, Lithenium possessed the ability to burn without oxygen, undergoing a self-sustaining combustion process.
Its high energy density allowed for significant fuel storage in a compact space.
And its combustion generated an enormous amount of energy, which was harnessed by advanced propulsion systems to propel spacecrafts at incredible speeds.
The element, though difficult to control, could also be engineered to possess excellent stability and controllability.
But its dance with destruction had turned Cyberia, the symbol of progress, into a funeral pyre.
In the aftermath of devastation, whispers of disbelief echoed through the halls of science.
Even the Great Director General of F.O.R.N.A.X, the behemoth organization behind the mission, could not fathom the tragic twist that fate had woven.
Lithenium, the elusive element, once hailed as the harbinger of intergalactic conquest, had become the catalyst of disaster.
Cyberia, the host of scientists had labelled her, the cresting boldly inscribed on the body of the spacecraft.
Despite rigorous testings and meticulous engineering, a critical malfunction had occurred within the rocket's propulsion system.
Lithenium, the highly energetic and flammable fuel powering Cyberia had exacerbated the disaster.

As the engines malfunctioned, the intense reaction within the space fuel accelerated uncontrollably, causing a catastrophic chain of events.
The sheer power and volatility of the chemical intensified the scale and destructive force of the explosion,
tearing through the rocket, the launch site and its surrounding infrastructure.
It's flicker was sinister, moulting pure steel like lava.
As the flames danced upon Cyberia's steel, a flickering of malevolence seemed to mock the very notion of human ambition.
Jasper, miles away from the epicenter, bore witness to the horror that unfolded.
The skeletons of brave souls; the crew on board, as well as personnel working on the launch site charred by the unforgiving inferno, became haunting specters etched into his memory.
The explosion's deafening roar had left Jasper momentarily deaf, drowning out the anguished cries of his lab assistant, a sixteen year old Phoebe.
Her voice, once a soothing melody, now a distant echo in the abyss of his mind.
"Jasper! Jasper! Can you hear me?" she implored, her desperation lost in the void of his thoughts.
"It's impossible," he whispered, a mantra to a shattered soul.
"My calculations were flawless... my calculations were perfect. This can't be happening."
The agony of sleepless nights spent refining his vision now seeped into his bones, a haunting lament for lost aspirations.
The grandiose dreams of a young prodigy lay shattered amidst the ruins of a multi-billion-dollar investment.
Cyberia, once an emblem of hope and progress, now stood as a testament to human hubris and the fragility of ambition.
Through the tears of reality, Phoebe's voice broke through once more, a lifeline amidst the wreckage.
"Jaspeeeeerr!" she screamed, her plea like a phoenix rising from the ashes.

(BACK TO PRESENT DAY)
In the present day, Phoebe's soft call brought Jasper back from the clutches of his daymare, her voice, an anchor to the present.
"Earth to Jas, come in.."
Her touch, a gentle reminder of her unwavering presence and love, offered solace to his troubled soul.
Time had not dimmed her grace; instead, it had bestowed upon her a mature composure, a strength that matched her beauty.
"Yes.. yes I'm here," the billionaire gave an expensive sigh, his throat heavy with guilt.
Knox, the ever-loyal friend with a hint of respectful sarcasm, offering his support and encouragement.
"Well, you better be, mate," said Knox.
"Days ahead are not gonna be easy. I know what you've been through. I know the past still haunts you.. me.. all of us.
But we've overcome; we shall be victorious.
Now cheer up!"
Knox stretched his hand for a handshake.
His words were a rallying cry, a reminder of their shared struggles and victories.
The camaraderie between the two men transcended time and the haunting memories of the past.
Jasper Ford breathed deeply, his gaze on Knox's hanging hand.
"C'mon, Friend. Don't leave it hanging," the ex Marine mulled.
He shook off the weight of guilt, and with a newfound sense of resolve, he embraced Knox, the bond of friendship unbreakable.
"Dear, dear, Big Baby," Knox teased, patting the broad back of the brilliant scientist who laughed and pushed him away playfully.
"I'm going to bed. Few hours to departure time," the defiant Brit manuevered with his sheathed blade in a stylistic display of skills, impressing Little Hayden.
"Cooool! Teach me that move," his eyes lit up with excitement.
"Now now, no one's playing with electric toys tonight," said Phoebe caressing Hayden's rain soaked hair.
"But Mom... I wanna be a F.O.R.N.A.X Knight too."
"We'll let fate decide!"
"This ain't no toys, Ma'am," Knox protested with his characteristic specifisy. "Goodnight."
"Alright kids, it's bedtime," Phoebe tended to the children, walking them out of the research chambers.
Jasper found himself isolated once more in his Labyrinth of knowledge.
His broad shoulders bulged with his arms crossed against his firm chest.
As he stood before the enigmatic pod, the allure of discovery merged with the impending threat, painting a canvas of uncertainty.
The creature's lifeless form held secrets that piqued the scientist's curiosity.
"Initiate Autopsy Mode!"
With a command, he set the lab into motion, the machines and drones working in harmony to conduct an autopsy on the fearsome beast.
The pod hovered in mid-air, a testament to the wondrous power of science. Jasper's eyes, pools of knowledge and curiosity, took in the data streaming before him.
The complexities of the creature's anatomy unfolded, each piece of information like a puzzle piece in the grand design of the universe.
Satisfied with the results, Jasper left the chamber, his mind filled with the possibilities that lay ahead.
But as fate would have it, the lab was not yet done with surprises.
The crimson warning lights flickered, and the AIs beeped in concern, warning of a growing threat.
The creature, once thought to be dead, defied its lifeless state. Its eyes burst open with renewed vigor, its wounds regenerating in a display of dark power.
However, the pod held its monstrous form in check, a formidable prison for a malevolent force.
The creature's frustrated roar echoed through the lab, a chilling reminder that darkness had not yet relinquished its grasp.
As it struggled against its confinement, its voice remained unheard, lost in the realms of its own malevolence.
