"HOW'S THE CROWN PRINCE?!"
Emperor Valerian De Alfred Valentino rushed into the crown prince's bedroom in panic and all the knights in the room kneeled down to show respect.
The doctor, who was checking up the crown prince's condition also bow his head and felt anxious.
There was nothing wrong with the crown prince; even the flow of his mana is stable but he was still unconscious.
After saving the crown princess, who had accidently fell on the lake; the crown prince also falls unconscious beside her for no reason.
But he can't say that to the emperor and then get beheaded for not being able to treat the crown prince, right?
"Y-Your Majesty… the crown prince…"
The doctor shuttered on his words and the emperor sat on the bed beside the unconscious crown prince.
His dark red eyes were full of concern as his hands brushed the crown prince's drenched black hair like his own.
'Did someone poison him again?'
[A/N: The crown prince was poisoned once when he was at the age of three and he was cured by Duchess of Dalton at that time, also the poison in his body was transferred to the Emperor's body at that time. This was explained at Season 1]
The emperor's jaw muscles get tighten as he recalled the past scene and he clenched his fist angrily.
'Those filthy dogs won't rest until they kill my son, will they?'
'I should just stop thinking about the public opinion and execute those damn nobles!'
"Summon Duke of Dalton right now…"
The emperor spoke in a grim voice and the imperial knights in white indigo outfits bow their heads before they spoken.
"Yes, Your majesty!"
A few knights left the room to complete their task and the emperor's aid, Marquise Henry Hill approached the emperor hesitantly.
"The duke's daughter, the crown princess had also fallen in the pool along with his highness… I don't think the duke can come right now."
"That's more reason for him to come; do you think that guy will spare anyone who harms his daughter?"
The emperor replied and Marquise Hill pressed his lips together in a thin line.
What he said is true, although the duke looks uninterested into his daughter but he is hellish possessive over her.
"But it was his highness, he has saved her!"
A young boy with purple eyes and bisque hair, who looked identical to marquise Hill, spoke in favor of the crown prince.
Marquise Henry Hill glared at his son and the aid of the crown prince, Brayden Hill immediately shut off his mouth and pouted his face.
What did he said wrong?
His highness saved her, then why would the duke get mad at him?
The 16 year old Brayden thought as he glanced at the unconscious crown prince again.
Right at that moment, the crown prince's eyebrows twitched a little and the Emperor's eyes widened with surprise.
"Cathain! Can you hear me?!"
Emperor Valerian unconsciously called out the crown prince's name which he rarely does.
Hearing his father's voice, the crown prince's body moved a little as he struggled to open his eyes.
His head was feeling heavy and his body was aching badly.
"Doctor! What are you waiting for?!"
The emperor shouted at the doctor, who was dumbfounded as the crown prince woke up so suddenly.
"Check on his condition!"
"Y-Yes…Your Majesty!"
The doctor shuttered a little as he took out the necessary medical instruments to check on the crown prince again and the emperor held his son's hands.
"Cain…"
The emperor called out the crown prince's nickname with concern as he felt like he has gone back 13 years ago, when the crown prince was poisoned for the first time.
He had maintained his distance so that no one targets the crown prince, thinking they might use him against the emperor.
This resulted in a bitter relationship between the father and son pair, but as long as the crown prince was safe, the emperor didn't care about that.
But now he regrets his decision, maybe he should have tried to protect his son better then pushing him away.
As the crown prince slowly opens his red eyes, the emperor finally feels peaceful.
For a moment, he thought he had lost his son too just like his wife.
Because the crown prince seldom fell sick, and today he remained unconscious for more than four hours.
"How are you feeling, son?"
The emperor asks as the crown prince looks around his surrounding with surprise, before he sits up with a shocked face.
"F-Father?"
The crown prince asks in confusion as he blinks with his widened red eyes.
"Yes? Do you need something?"
The emperor replies with a confused and awkward tone.
This is the first time that his son called him father, instead of addressing him as 'Your Majesty' like others.
"You have finally woken up, your highness!!"
"Do you know how concerned his majesty was because of you?"
The crown prince turns his confused face towards his aid, Brayden Hill, who was trying to let him know that the emperor was concerned for him.
"B-Brayden?"
The crown prince called his aids name with the same confused tone like before and Brayden blinked his purple eyes.
"Cathain… are you okay?"
The emperor asked with a concerned face and the crown prince twitched a little.
His father has never called him by his name as far as he could remember.
But before the crown prince could answer, someone knocked on the bedroom door.
"Your Majesty, Duke of Dalton and… the crown princess is here."
A knight spoke and the crown prince's expression changed again.
"Let them in."
The emperor replied and the gorgeously decorated heavy door of the room slowly opened wide.
The duke of Dalton, who was wearing a silver knight suit with a long blue cape draped over his shoulder, entered the room with long stride.
He was holding the hands of his 12 year old daughter, and she was looking around her surrounding with great curiosity.
Eleanora was changed into a beautiful light pink colored floral dress and her long silver hair was open.
"I, Alexander De Xavier Dalton, Greet his majesty the sun of our empire and his highness the little sun-"
But Alexander, who was kneeling in one leg on the ground, paused on his greeting as someone suddenly passed by him.
His blue eyes widened with shock as he watched the crown prince, who was in the bed a few moments ago has actually rushed to get up and hugged his daughter tightly.
Eleanora was equally shocked as everyone else in the room but the crown prince didn't cared.
His heart was beating fast violently as soon as his eyes fall on her.
The same silver hair and jewel like blue eyes, which he has been searching for so long.
He finally found his true empress this time…
