Chapter 895 - CHAPTER 900: Overwhelming Power

When the members of the House of Han heard the thunderous roar, their despairing faces suddenly lit up, as if they could see the light at the end of the tunnel.

"It's Master! It's our Master!" exclaimed Gilbert emotionally. Every member of the House of Han hoped that Han Shuo would find them and save them from danger, even though they knew it was highly unlikely. But perhaps the Creator had heard their prayers, and Han Shuo came to their rescue at the last possible moment.

Not only Gilbert, but every member of the House of Han could immediately tell that it was Han Shuo. They could recognise Han Shuo's voice and his ruthless aura that had now enveloped the entire Witherbone City.

"Master has become even stronger!" Sanguis exclaimed excitedly after closing his eyes and carefully sensing the apocalyptic aura that was rapidly moving towards them.

"Defend! We just need to hold out until Bryan arrives and we will have nothing to worry about!" cried Emily. Her cheeks and neck were flushed with excitement.

To every member of the House of Han, Han Shuo, their patriarch, was an invincible being. The House of Han guards who had been trained in the Eight Desolation and Torment Formation were also familiar with Han Shuo's voice and aura.

Every member of the House of Han who was prepared to fight to the death became very emotional. Some even couldn't help but cheer out of excitement.

Every expert in Witherbone City felt a sense of danger from the tremendous aura. Hill and Sha-t'o, the two most powerful existences in Witherbone City, were stunned as they stared at the direction the aura was coming from.

Not only Hill and Sha-t'o, but even the divine guards of Hill and the House of Kiaran were so startled by the terrifying aura that they temporarily stopped attacking the House of Han. Everyone turned to look at the menacing dark cloud that was rapidly approaching them.

With that, both sides temporarily halted their battle and waited in silence for the demon to arrive.

A ferocious roar continued to echo from the distance, shaking the entire Witherbone City. Every god, whether sleeping or cultivating, was awakened by it. They made horrified faces and looked in one direction.

Through the violent roar and the aura, everyone could feel the wrath of the incomparable existence. Most of the citizens of Witherbone City were unaware of what the House of Han had suffered over the past few months. Following the source of the sound, they curiously headed towards the Kiaran Residence to see what was happening in their city.

"Who? Who on earth is that?" Hill, the City Lord of Witherbone City, felt frightened when he realised that even with all the divine guards around him, he would still be easily crushed by the approaching demon.

"No... I have no idea..." Sha-t'o replied, also feeling confused. Like Hill, his attention was completely taken up by that terrifying aura of power and he did not notice the expressions on the faces of the Han family.

The environment was filled with a ruthless, ferocious, bloodthirsty sinister energy. The terrifying aura, which contained seemingly infinite power, radiated omnidirectionally to cover the entire Witherbone City. It struck fear into the hearts of every expert in the city.

Although the city was flooded with an intense killing intent, the density varied from place to place. Hill and Sha-t'o felt that the pressure was focused on them, as if the approaching expert was targeting them!

As Hill and Sha-t'o realised this, a shiver ran down their spines. Somehow they saw the scene of their own murder. They also understood from the terrifying pressure that they stood no chance against the powerful entity.

As the person approached, the ferocious roar gradually faded. However, Hill and Sha-t'o did not feel more at ease, as they still had the unsettling feeling that a monster was watching them and could devour them at any moment. The two strongest experts in Witherbone City panicked.

Finally, a majestic figure materialised in the dark sky. Han Shuo's face was cold, and his eyes glowed with a sinister light as he swept over the Witherbone Divine Guards surrounding the House of Han.

Due to Han Shuo's superior strength, he was able to sense the House of Han at a distance. He recognised the auras of the House of Han guards he had put through the Eight Desolation and Torment Formation. He realised that the House of Han guards were being slaughtered when he noticed those auras disappearing.

This was definitely not what Han Shuo wanted.

With the intention of preventing his House of Han guards from being killed before he reached the Kiaran Residence, he unleashed his aura to the fullest, even amplifying it with all of his rage. He wanted to intimidate the Witherbone Divine Guards into a temporary ceasefire.

The unbridled release of his aura had indeed worked as he had expected. Intimidated by his terrifying energy, Hill and Sha-t'o turned all their attention to Han Shuo, temporarily forgetting about the House of Han. The Witherbone Divine Guards were also stunned and stopped attacking.

"Master!" "Bryan!" "Patriarch!" "My Lord!"

Han Shuo was greeted by his family. When he arrived, Gilbert, Sanguis and others cheered excitedly. Emily, Fanny, Lisa and many others cried tears of joy.

Moments ago, they had all lost hope. Every member of the House of Han knew that they had no chance of survival against the entire Witherbone City.

But moments later, when Han Shuo suddenly appeared, their hopes were rekindled. They realised that not only could they survive the disaster, but they could also get their revenge.

Hearing the cheers of the Han family, the Witherbone Divine Guards immediately realised who the newcomer was.

Hill and Sha-to's hearts sank. They suddenly found the weather to be unusually cold, and they got cold feet and goose bumps all over. Their terrified gazes converged on Han Shuo and they simultaneously opened their mouths. However, as if something was stuck in their throats, no sound came out.

Hill and Sha-t'o, as the strongest Highgods present, could tell better than anyone else just how formidable Han Shuo's strength was. They were terrified, knowing that they stood no chance against Han Shuo.

"There... there's been a misunderstanding..." Sha-t'o stuttered with a forced smile. His body bowed slightly. He seemed even more humble to Han Shuo than to Hill.

Han Shuo swept his deadly eyes over Sha-t'o before turning to Emily, Stratholme and the others and asking, "What happened?"

"Certain people want the Celestial Pearl Pharmacy's medicine formula and the secrets to training our guards. They gave us three days to hand them over or we would all be killed. But I doubt they would let us live even if we gave them those secrets," Stratholme replied loudly, smirking as he looked at Hill and Sha-t'o.

"They also kidnapped one of our House of Han guards and extracted his memories using the energy of death! And that Sha-t'o once insulted Bollands..." Emily stepped forward and loudly recounted the suffering they had endured.

"Master, that is not all. They forced us to live in that filthy building, right behind the stinking Bone Refinery. It made our matriarchs throw up a lot! Damn it, they made so many black crystal coins with the name of our Celestial Pearl, but as soon as we entered their city, they put us under house arrest and demanded all our secrets! Fucking outrageous!" Gilbert began to complain and curse at Hill and Sha-t'o.

As Han Shuo listened to Stratholme, Emily, Gilbert and others, his face grew darker and darker. Han Shuo had learned from the information broker that the House of Han was in a bad situation, but it turned out that the reality was much worse than he had imagined. Had he not rushed to Witherbone City at top speed, he would have arrived too late and his family clan would have been wiped out.

"Mis... Misunderstanding... It's a misunderstanding... " Sha-t'o repeated the word over and over again. He felt the stifling air around him becoming colder and colder.
