Chapter 881 - CHAPTER 886: Fighting Quincy And Chrison

Before Khitan arrived, about ten godhunter factions had formed an alliance to wipe out the House of Han and take all their valuables. Against ten or so Highgods and more than a thousand Midgods, the House of Han wouldn't stand a chance.

But thanks to Han Hao's fearsome reputation in Ronson Canyon, most of the Godhunters were frightened off by the raid. This left the House of Han guards with only Quincy and Chrison's forces to fight.

Quincy and Chrison had brought about five hundred Godhunters with them, and the two of them were Mid-stage Highgods. They were one of the most powerful forces in Ronson Canyon.

But the House of Han was not afraid of them. Gilbert and Sanguis could no longer contain their anger. The moment Quincy and Chrison ordered their Godhunters to attack, they suddenly realised that the House of Han guards were bravely turning on them.

Quincy and Chrison jolted. As masters of skirmishing, they could tell immediately that these House of Han guards were nothing like the typical divine guards. With that, they hastily shouted, "You better be damn careful!"

The House of Han guards marched towards their enemy in a neat formation. They would move in unison, as if they were a single unit. By keeping a fixed, optimal distance from their comrades, the House of Han guards were not only able to attack effectively, but they could also look out for each other.

Quincy and Chrison could tell from the determined faces and ice-cold gazes of these House of Han guards that they were experienced and well trained. These were not novices who had never seen combat like most of the guards of the young family clans.

Although Quincy and Chrison realised that their enemy was no ordinary one, they had underestimated the true power of these House of Han guards. All their years of training in the Eight Desolation and Torment Formation had not been in vain. Having been repeatedly baptised with blood, these House of Han guards were even more ferocious and ruthless than the Godhunters. The House of Han guards were like an unstoppable sword, stabbing the Godhunters straight in the chest!

A scene similar to the battle between the House of Han Guards and Ralph's Second Corps Divine Guards was recreated. The House of Han had the upper hand not only in size, but also in teamwork. As soon as the two sides clashed, the overwhelming power of the House of Han guards in team combat became apparent. The Godhunters who had ravaged Ronson Canyon were quickly decimated!

The House of Han guards sliced through the Godhunters like a red-hot knife through butter. The Godhunters' defences were like a thin sheet of paper, instantly shredded by the attacks of the House of Han guards. The Godhunters could be heard screaming in pain and despair before they died. Their dismembered bodies would fall from the sky and land all around the mountaintop below.

Scarlett and Khitan were stunned. When they saw Quincy and Chrison ordering their troops to attack, they thought the House of Han was finished. As Khitan thought about it, blaming himself for being overly arrogant, he suddenly discovered that the House of Han guards were already charging and attacking the Godhunters.

As the two forces clashed, Khitan came to his senses. He was shocked by the overwhelming teamwork of these House of Han guards and finally had some ideas as to why Han Hao would order his followers never to attack the House of Han.

An average person would never be able to learn anything from the complex battle formations practised by the House of Han guards. But Khitan, as a follower of Han Hao, had also been taught demonic combat formations. With one glance, Khitan realised that the fighting formations used by these House of Han guards were similar to those he and his Godhunters had been taught.

When Khitan had received the note from Scarlett, he had been sceptical that Han Hao was in any way related to the House of Han. But after seeing the combat formation used by the House of Han guards, he was certain that Scarlett was right.

The House of Han's tremendous team fighting strength had shocked Scarlett even more than it had shocked Khitan. As she watched the House of Han crushing Quincy and Chrison's forces like a huge, efficient meat grinder, she muttered, "House of Han... Han Hao... they are truly unfathomable..."

At that moment, Quincy and Chrison felt like they were going mad!

Never in their wildest dreams had they imagined that these House of Han guards were so terrifying, that they could so easily take the lives of their followers by using an incredibly complex battle formation. They wanted to help their followers, but they were too busy defending themselves against Sanguis, Bollands and Gilbert.

By now, even Quincy and Chrison believed that Han Hao was related to the House of Han, for they sensed that the energy used by Sanguis, Bollands and Gilbert was vaguely similar to that used by Han Hao.

Before the battle broke out, Quincy and Chrison had not discovered any Highgods in the House of Han, but as soon as the battle began, they received three great surprises. Three experts, whose strength was not even worth mentioning, had suddenly turned into formidable demons!

Quincy and Chrison felt remorseful. They were angry at themselves for messing with Han Hao's family when they knew that Han Hao was cunning and full of surprises.

"Why don't you scream anymore? Keep shouting! You just said a lot of shit! Old fuck, let me tell you, I'm going to skin you and chop off your limp little dick! Fucker, how dare you... " Unlike Sanguis and Bolland, who were completely silent, Gilbert had not shut his vicious mouth for a second, and he continued to spew abuse. They were as fierce as his attacks.

Quincy was held up by Sanguis, while Chrison was attacked by Gilbert and Bollands together. Bollands would attack Chrison with his flying sword filled with killing intent, forcing Chrison to devote all his attention and energy to defending against Bollands. Meanwhile, Gilbert would hover around Chrison like a ghost, attacking him at every opportunity. He would also greet several generations of Chrison's female ancestors as they passed through.

This psychological torment was no less painful than the injuries to his body. Under Gilbert's constant curses and taunts, Chrison felt as if he might collapse at any moment. Unable to focus his mind on fighting, Chrison's firepower was greatly reduced. Soon Bollands found another opening and his flying sword opened up a few more gashes on Chrison's skin.

"Kill them all!" ordered Phoebe coldly, seeing that the House of Han guards had overpowered their enemy.

Quincy and Chrison had not only looked at Phoebe, Emily, Lisa and the others with obscene glances, but had also verbally abused them. Phoebe had suppressed her anger the whole time. Now that the House of Han's situation had changed from dire to favourable, her attitude changed immediately.

Phoebe, Emily, Stratholme, Ayermike and the others had made tremendous progress in their cultivation on Elysium, where the elemental energies were most intense. In the House of Han, they had access to vast financial resources, scrolls containing profound knowledge of various energies, the pelleted medicines Han Shuo had made, and divine essences acquired from various regions. These resources would continue to appear in the Han Residence storehouse before being distributed to these core members of the House of Han.

They were the cream of the crop on the Profound Continent, a resource-poor material plane. Upon their arrival on Elysium, they had been provided with everything that could aid their cultivation. Combined with their outstanding aptitude, they had made tremendous progress.

Phoebe, Emily and most of the others had reached Mid-stage of Midgodhood, while gifted experts like Stratholme and Ayermike had entered the Late-stage of Midgodhood. They had progressed much, much faster than those born and raised on Elysium.

These people were able to become first-rate experts in a world where the elemental energies were thin and little was known about the Fundamental Forces. It was only natural that they would make extraordinary progress after moving to Elysium and gaining access to its vast resources.

Phoebe, Emily, Ayermike, Stratholme and the others had not been idle. They, too, were well-trained in Han Shuo's Demonic Battle Formation and had massacred Chrison and Quincy's Godhunters.

The first Highgod to fall was Chrison. He had finally lost his mind after being subjected to Gilbert's persistent chanting of malicious words. He had been so focused on getting Gilbert that he had forgotten that Bollands was still a threat. When Chrison finally managed to land an attack on Gilbert, Bollands' flying sword entered his neck and exited through his forehead. It was an instant kill.

"Haha! Gotcha, fucker! I may not have the firepower of Bollands or Sanguis, but my body is fucking tough. How stupid of you to think that I can be killed in one hit!" Gilbert stumbled backwards, coughed a few times and quickly returned to normal. He went on to trample Chrison's body on the mountaintop.

Gilbert's body had been refined by Han Shuo in the same way he smelted demonic weapons. Although Gilbert's body wasn't as ridiculously tough as Han Shuo's, it was still orders of magnitude stronger than an average Highgod. If it was another expert who suffered this attack from Chrison, he would be seriously injured, if not killed. Gilbert, on the other hand, could handle it without too much trouble.

"Alright, that's enough, Gilbert. We have to hurry. Let's team up with Sanguis and kill the other one!" Bollands gently wiped the flying sword in his hand before charging at Quincy.

Gilbert spat a large mouthful of saliva onto Chrison's flattened body. "Fucker, you got off easy," Gilbert cursed before turning and charging at Quincy as well.

Quincy had been rather passive against Sanguis's wild attacks. He was also surrounded by the House of Han guards. Whenever he tried to escape, he was greeted by the ferocious attacks of these guards.

Although Quincy possessed formidable strength, the simultaneous attack of hundreds of Midgods was just as powerful. And with Sanguis constantly bombarding him with insane attacks, he could not escape.

The moment Chrison died, a chill ran through Quincy's heart, for he knew it would soon be him.

And, as expected, Bollands and Gilbert turned on him with chilling glances. It was clear that they were ganging up on him. Quincy became even more despaired.

Hell, I may die, but I'm not going down alone! thought Quincy hatefully. As a godhunter, Quincy knew that his life was always at risk. It was clear from his daring attack on the House of Han despite offending Han Hao that he was not afraid of death.

The instance that Bollands and Gilbert came to attack him, Quincy knew that this will be his end. Hoping to make his death a little more significant, he decided to commit an equivalent of a kamikaze attack.

"Everyone get spread out! He wants to kill as many of us with his death! Keep a distance from him and bombard him to death!" Having had centuries of experience fighting all kinds of experts on the Profound Continent, Stratholme had learned to be astute. With just one look at those bloodthirsty eyes, Stratholme was able to make out Quincy's intention.

Upon hearing the warning, Bollands, Gilbert and even Sanguis immediately flew backwards to keep a distance from Quincy.

"Motherfucker, you want to make your death a little less pitiful? It's not going to happen!" Gilbert opened his mouth again and began to spew his aural venom. Gilbert greeted Quincy's female ancestors, back to when they were still amoebas, with all kind of curse bundled with insults. Meanwhile, Sanguis, Bollands and the House of Han guards continued to bombard Quincy with all manner of ranged attacks.

Quincy could not be more desperate. Realising that his chance to launch a kamikaze attack had been lost, he had no choice but to defend himself against the bombardment.

The bombardment led by Bollands, Sanguis and Gilbert finally exhausted Quincy's divine energy. He was killed by a myriad of energies and weapons.

It was an incredibly painful death. Every inch of Quincy's body was covered in divine weapons, and he was suspended in mid-air. After Sanguis made sure there was not a drop of blood left in his body, a group of guards moved forward and hacked him to pieces before throwing his body parts everywhere.

With Quincy and Chrison both dead, the few remaining Godhunters who had not been slaughtered fled frantically in all directions. They tried to fly towards the hills and dense jungle, using every ounce of strength they had to run.

Seeing Quincy and Chrison killed had left Khitan and Scarlett in utter shock. They were terrified by the performance of the House of Han.
