Han Shuo was finally reunited with Han Mu and Han Shui. He was between laughter and tears when he learned about Han Mu's misdeeds from Han Shui, and especially when Han Mu rebutted by saying that he had inherited the 'excellent trait' of his.
Han Shuo thought that he was excellent at sex. But after hearing about Han Mu's 'accomplishments', he immediately felt that he paled in comparison. Han Shuo did not know if he should be glad or angry about it.
"From now on, you better exercise more self-control so you don't create even many troubles! Also, don't touch ladies that you should not, those young ones especially – they usually don't have a rational mind. And … " Han Shuo lectured Han Mu on and on.
Han Mu was sitting upright and still with his head slightly lowered as though he was ashamed of his misdeeds. In his mind, however, he completely disagreed with Han Shuo's lecture. He secretly peeked at Rose as he thought, You ask me to exercise self-control while you bring a beauty by your side to satisfy your urges. How hypocritical!
The body of the Five Elite Zombies contained Han Shuo's Blood Essences. They had all been produced by him, and he knew exactly what they were thinking. When Han Shuo realised that Han Mu was thinking dirty thoughts about him and Rose and that it was getting more and more explicit, Han Shuo suddenly became angry. He shouted, "You perverted bastard, what the hell are you thinking? I do not have that kind of relationship with Rose!"
Rose was there for amusement and she found it very interesting that Han Shuo was lecturing his son. She was shocked by this sudden angry shout from Han Shuo and she was no longer amused. Her face immediately turned dark and she began to glare at Han Mu.
"Um... I forgot that Father can read what I'm thinking..." Han Mu scratched his head embarrassedly. He hastily apologised to Rose, "I'm sorry, so sorry. Although I know my father well enough that he would have done something, I shouldn't have imagined that the two of you would get it on. I am sorry! Please don't be angry!"
"You have a dirty mind!" Rose became even more furious, getting up from her seat and shouting. "I have been with him for so many years and he has never done anything inappropriate to me. You need to have your disgusting brain cleaned out!"
"How is that possible?" Han Mu was astonished. He looked at Han Shuo and mumbled for a moment before asking in a low voice, "Father, has your ability in this aspect diminished because you have too many women?" Han Mu scratched his head in confusion and thought aloud, "But that shouldn't be possible. Father is fantastic at this. He should be able to handle more."
Rose was embarrassed and angry. She cursed under her breath and left with a red face.
"Young man, you're getting more and more unruly, aren't you?" Han Shuo became furious after hearing Han Mu's insulting words. He shouted angrily, "You are grounded! From now on, you're not allowed to leave Celestial Pearl until you've learned your lesson!"
"What? Noooo! There aren't any good-looking beauties in the pharmacy. Even the only good-looking one belonged to Father. How am I supposed to live?" When Han Mu heard that he was going to be grounded, he immediately began to plead pitifully. He repeatedly claimed that he would listen to Han Shuo's words and not mess around anymore.
"Han Hao, you will take care of him!" Han Shuo instructed Little Skeleton. He knew that he could not be lenient with the stubborn little womaniser.
Han Hao nodded coldly and cast his emotionless eyes at Han Mu before saying, "You better behave yourself!"
Han Mu knew that Han Shuo was very loving and kind to him and his brother, so he wasn't particularly afraid of Han Shuo. However, Little Skeleton had been guiding and disciplining them since they started in the Netherworld, and Little Skeleton had been strict with them. Therefore, he was more afraid of Little Skeleton than Han Shuo. Han Mu immediately fell silent after being rebuked by Han Hao. He turned to Han Shui, Han Tu and the others with pitying eyes, hoping that they would plead for him.
However, Han Mu's brothers, especially Han Shui, were all smiling maliciously.
After lecturing Han Mu, Han Shuo took a deep breath and calmed his mind. He politely asked Little Skeleton, "How did your trip go?"
"I went to see the leader of a godhunter faction living in the fringe who has good relations with Baum. He promised to get McKinley's divine body from Baum. Rest assured, Father. Although this person is greedy and puts personal gain above all else, he is very capable. Since he dared to accept my money, he must be sure to keep his promise," Han Hao replied.
"That's great! If we can get our hands on McKinley's divine body, hehe, the Ethereal City will have a new City Lord! Originally, I had planned to leave for the fringe as soon as you were all here. But now I think we'll wait and see," Han Shuo said with a smile.
"Father, why are you going to the Fringe?" asked the surprised Little Skeleton. It was the first time he had heard of Han Shuo's destination.
As there were no outsiders with them, Han Shuo openly informed them of his plans. He also told them that his family clan in the City of Shadows was being ousted and that they would eventually have to evacuate the city.
After hearing Han Shuo's whole story, Little Skeleton thought for a moment before suggesting, "Father, if you want to stay in the City of Shadows, we can go with you and help you kill those people. With Father's strength and our assistant, taking down the entire City of Shadows should be no problem!"
"Hell yes, City of Shadows or Hushveil, we are not afraid of them!" Han Huo immediately agreed. He shouted, "That fool named Walla-ss is courting death. We might as well go there and kill them all, then Father will be the City Lord of the City of Shadows!"
Upon hearing Han Hao and Han Huo's words, the other little ones immediately voiced their agreement. It seemed that after all these years on Elysium, they had become more and more belligerent.
Han Shuo forced a smile and shook his head. He explained, "It won't work. Even though Wallace is suspicious of me, I'm still good friends with other members of the Sainte family. I cannot betray them. Besides, Little Water and Little Wood won't be able to live in the Darkness Dominion because of the energy they cultivate. After a short pause, Han Shuo smiled faintly and continued, "But most importantly, I feel that the City of Shadows is a little too small. Our House of Han needs much more space to grow. Hehe, the Fringe is much bigger than the City of Shadows and the Ethereal City. It is also full of powerful experts. This is where the House of Han should be!
The Five Elite Zombies smiled and nodded after listening to Han Shuo's explanation, while Han Hao remained silent, but his eyes began to glow.
"Okay!" Han Hao nodded.
"Alright, now that the five of you are finally reunited, go underground and practice the Penta-Elemental Undead Formation!" Han Shuo instructed the five elite zombies. The Penta-Elemental Undead Formation could exponentially increase the firepower of the Five Elite Zombies. The power unleashed by the formation would also become stronger as their strength improved. Over the past fifty years, the strength of the Five had greatly improved. Han Shuo believed that the current Penta-Elemental Undead Formation should have no problem killing a Highgod.
.....
Ten days passed. While Han Shuo was cultivating, he suddenly discovered through his demon general that Baum was receiving a Highgod.
With a thought, Han Shuo summoned Little Skeleton, who was training the five elite zombies deep underground. When Han Hao appeared and entered the gymnasium, Han Shuo immediately began to describe the Highgod's appearance to him.
"He is a henchman of Polo. He must be there for McKinley's divine body," Little Skeleton said confidently after hearing the description of the person.
Han Shuo was elated. He smiled and exclaimed, "Finally!" before focusing all his attention and carefully watching the activities in the city lord's mansion.
As soon as the person entered the mansion, he was summoned to a meeting in the secret chamber of Baum. The secret chamber had layers upon layers of defensive boundaries, including space edict boundaries that were beyond wondrous. It would be impossible to sneak in undetected, even with a demon general refined by a Highgod's soul.
However, this doesn't worry Han Shuo, for he knows that the Highgod will be carrying McKinley's divine body. The Highgod will eventually leave the secret chamber and leave the mansion. If he carried McKinley's divine body, he could use the Demon General to follow the Highgod.
After observing for a moment through the Demon General, Han Shuo sensed an intense space-time fluctuation coming from the secret chamber. Obviously, Baum had torn space-time apart in the secret chamber, perhaps pulling McKinley's divine body out of a space-time rift.
Han Shuo had searched the mansion many times before with his demon generals, but had found no sign of McKinley's divine body. After some thought, Han Shuo guessed that Baum might have hidden the divine body in a space-time rift in another dimension. As a cultivator of the Edict of Space, this would be the safest way to store things.
And the fact proved that Han Shuo's assumption was correct. A moment later, the space-time fluctuation gradually subsided. And about ten minutes later, Polo's Highgod henchman came out with a huge bag. He quietly left the house through the back door.
Baum, behind the windows of the top floor of the tallest building, stood silently as he watched the person leave his mansion. The expression on his face suggested that he was a little worried.
"He will leave the city immediately. There are energy towers of Baum's everywhere.
We cannot take the body directly. Let's leave the city as well," Han Shuo said to Little Skeleton.
"Father, we cannot kill this person. If he is dead, Polo will know it was me. Besides, there is honour among godhunters. Besides, when we join the Fringe in the future, Polo will be a useful asset to have," Little Skeleton said as he looked at Han Shuo.
Han Shuo was astonished. He chuckled and said, "Haha, look at you, so mature in your thinking. Of all my children, you are the only one who can let me sleep peacefully at night!"
These words from Han Hao proved that he was a prudent person. It seemed that it wasn't luck that made Little Skeleton so successful in the world of Godhunters over in the Death Dominion.
It was a son like him who could make Han Shuo feel comfortable. He thought that in the future, he should delegate some important tasks to Little Skeleton.
"Don't worry, Father, I will make sure to teach him well!" Little Skeleton seemed somewhat embarrassed after receiving Han Shuo's praise.
He gave a slightly awkward, faint smile. It was very similar to the smile Han Shuo wore on normal days.
