Chapter 728 - CHAPTER 730: Anymore Questions?

A divine tablet cannot be made without at least Basegod power? Han Shuo was stunned. From Jeff's terrified performance, it seemed like he was telling the truth. With this, only a few of them could have a divine tablet made.

"Then get one for those who can," Han Shuo swung his arm and threw Jeff onto his table. Jeff nodded repeatedly in a frightened manner, as if he was afraid that Han Shuo would finish him off right away.

Jeff knew that given Han Shuo's relationship with the House of Sainte, with his current position in the City of Shadows, it wouldn't be much of a problem for Han Shuo to kill a small figure like him. Although Jeff was Dolores' lackey, he knew how to adapt when his life was in danger.

Stratholme, Ayermike, the Emperor of Flames and a few others quickly obtained their own divine tablets from Jeff. As for Fanny and the others who had not yet reached Basegod strength, Han Shuo decided that this would have to wait until the future.

After completing the procedures, Jeff carefully handed the exact change to Han Shuo. He dared not say a word, lest he provoke Han Shuo's anger.

"Tell me where Dolores is and I will spare your life," instead of accepting the crystal coins, Han Shuo threatened Jeff in a cold voice.

"Please spare me, sir. I really have no idea where Dolores is!" Jeff shouted in fright.

"Bryan, that's enough," Fanny advised quietly.

Han Shuo groaned slightly and said, "Fine. I'll let you go for today. But you better be careful because Dolores is finished. I heard that it was you who sent the prisoners to the Profound Continent. That is no small crime. Prepare to be punished."

After finishing these words, Han Shuo started to leave the facility with Andrina and the group in the direction of the City of Shadows.

Once back in the city, all Han Shuo had to do was speak to Erebus, Andre or Carmelita about the matter and Dolores and Jeff would pay the price for their actions. It was only a matter of time before they would be discovered and Han Shuo did not mind waiting a little longer to take his revenge.

Since the gravity on Elysium was much stronger, most of the people from the Profound Continent had lost their ability to fly. Therefore, the group had to travel on foot. This set them back considerably.

It was also at this time that Han Shuo realised that he had not been careful enough. In retrospect, he should have purchased an airship before taking them to Elysium. With an airship, they wouldn't have to spend so much time travelling. It was too late to buy an airship now, and they were only sold in large cities. Given the remote location of the interplanetary transport facility, they were still a long way from the nearest city.

But Stratholme and the others were in no hurry. Having just arrived on Elysium, they were in awe of this new world around them. They constantly exclaimed in amazement at the vastness of Elysium and its abundance of elemental energies. Even the plants and landscapes fascinated them. The ladies, in particular, had taken the trip as a sightseeing tour. They chatted and laughed with each other.

Three days after Han Shuo left the valley, Dolores returned.

He was informed of the situation by Jeff. His face turned grave as he hatefully remarked, "That boy is really quite difficult to kill. He actually managed to make it back to Elysium in one piece."

"My Lord, what shall we do? He knows that we have sent prisoners to his material plane. Given his relationship with the House of Sainte, all he has to do is speak and we are both finished!" Jeff panicked. He was really scared.

"Why are you losing your head?" Dolores scolded. After thinking for a moment with his eyebrows knitted together, he asked, "You said he brought a group of weaklings?"

"Yes. Not one of them was a Lowgod, and only a few of them have reached the Demigod and Basegod Realms. With that kind of strength, they wouldn't even be able to defeat a child," Jeff replied.

"I see," Dolores scoffed, "with that group of burdens weighing him down, he won't be moving very fast. All we have to do is find a way to stop him from ever returning to the City of Shadows and we will be fine."

"My Lord, you mean?" Jeff stared blankly for a moment before asking. After failing to kill Han Shuo the last time, he knew that Han Shuo wouldn't be so easy to deal with. After thinking about it, he felt that there wasn't an insurmountable hatred between him and Han Shuo. He was also afraid of Han Shuo's influence in the City of Shadows and had actually become rather reluctant to provoke Han Shuo any further.

"You can ignore this. I will handle this myself," Dolores' eyes glittered with malicious and cold rays. He instructed Jeff: "You take care of any trouble in the valley. I will be leaving." Dolores left soon after returning to the valley.

In an underground, pitch-black secret chamber, Avery was meditating. Suddenly he was awakened. He turned his head to see a magical device flashing beside him. Dolores' figure inside the device gradually went from blurry to clear.

"What's going on?" Avery asked in a low voice.

"Uncle, this guy has come back to life," Dolores replied.

"How is that possible?" Avery was shocked. "Even if those prisoners hadn't been able to kill her, they would have destroyed the interplanar transportation matrix in that low level material plane immediately. Without an interplanar transportation matrix, they would have had great difficulty returning to Elysium. Have you checked the status of the transportation matrix on this material level?"

"It is sealed. Only those who know the seal could teleport to that transportation matrix," Dolores replied.

"Huh?" Avery exclaimed in surprise. "Could it be that they have an expert who cultivates the Edict of Space? How else could they seal an interplanetary transportation matrix?"

"I have no idea," Dolores shook her head.

"Tell me everything in detail," Avery's face turned cold and he instructed in a deep voice.

After Dolores had explained everything, Avery sneered, "It's quite surprising that the boy is carrying so much baggage. All right, I know what to do. They would be dead before they set foot in the City of Shadows." With that, Avery ended the call with Dolores. He reconfigured the device and a moment later, another person appeared inside the device - the Master of the Godswamp Pharmacy.

"Hello, Avery. Are you used to staying with me?" the elderly man with a head full of white hair asked smilingly.

"It's wonderful, thank you for your hospitality, Mr Hassling," Avery smiled and thanked the old man before he put on a solemn expression and said, "I have received information that Bryan of Celestial Pearl Pharmacy has just returned from a low level material plane. He has taken over your properties in the City of Shadows. I believe Mr Hassling would be interested in teaching him a lesson?"

"Is that so? Well, go on," Hassling said with a smile.

After Avery had explained the situation to him, he nodded with a slight smile and said, "I see. You may continue to rest. Leave this matter to me."

Hassling ended the call with Avery and called another person with his magical device. When a blurred figure appeared in the magical mirror, Hassling said, "Brovst, I have something interesting for you. The little girl you are looking for has just left the interplanar transport facility of the City of Shadows. If you bring me the head of the boy Bryan who is travelling with her, I will also give you an extra hundred bottles of poison."

"Consider it done," a deep voice sounded from the magical device, and Hassling was cut off before the person's appearance was clearly displayed.

"Interfering with my business? Young man, it's not easy to take things that belong to me, and you shall pay for it - with your life!" Hassling said to himself with a smile.

"Elysium is really big. It took us more than seven days just to cross one valley," Phoebe remarked. The crowd from the Profound Continent agreed, as they all realised just how huge Elysium was. They had gradually adapted to their new surroundings as they had travelled.

Some of them, however, remained very reserved. People like Graeae, Pegasus and a few others could be considered the crème de la crème of experts on the Profound Continent, with virtually no rivals. But after arriving on Elysium, everyone they met along the way was at least a Lowgod. The aura emanating from the Lowgod instinctively frightened and intimidated them. They stuck close behind Han Shuo like glue.

"Yes. This material plane is incredibly vast. Even a small valley is bigger than the territories of the Lancelot Empire. We must hurry to the nearest city to buy an airship. Otherwise, at the rate we're going, we won't reach the City of Shadows for another year or two," Han Shuo said.

"Bryan, are Godhunters really that terrible?" asked Fanny. She had heard Han Shuo's brief description of the godhunters, and she felt frightened when she thought of those gods who specifically hunted other gods.

"The Godhunters are a special bunch of idiots on Elysium. They increase their own power by hunting and killing others, and they are the most despicable of all. I'm going to kill every single one of them!" Andrina said hatefully.

"Don't worry, Godhunters wouldn't be interested in you. Since none of you have reached the Lowgod Realm, without divine energy in your bodies, they wouldn't even think of attacking you," Han Shuo comforted Fanny.

"Doesn't that mean we're not even qualified to be hunted?" Stratholme sighed with a grimace. He shook his head and sighed, "We've been living under a rock all this time. I know this world is full of powerful experts, but this is still such a blow to my psyche!"

"Calm down. Each one of you here has amply demonstrated that you are astonishingly talented in cultivation, having worked your way up to this stage even in an environment as poor as the Profound Continent. Now that you are here on Elysium, with me providing you with crystal coins, resources, and shelter, your abilities will improve very rapidly given the intense elements in this world. I know it won't be long before each of you will reach the Lowgod Realm. Han Shuo assured Stratholme.

This was also the reason why Han Shuo spared no effort in bringing them to Elysium. Given their aptitude, they would strive even harder to become stronger after arriving in this more suitable environment for cultivation. With Han Shuo's support, they would surely improve their strength rapidly. Perhaps in the future, they could become the main forces behind Han Shuo's future family clan.

After a month, the group finally crossed the valley. Weeks later, they entered a mountain range much larger than the valley they had left. However, the good news was that after crossing this mountain range, they would find a decent sized town where they could probably buy an airship.

After a few days of travelling into the mountain range, Han Shuo, using his demon generals, suddenly discovered that there were many more people around them than usual. These people had disguised themselves as ordinary gods, but were secretly watching Han Shuo and his party.

"Something's wrong," Han Shuo said to Andrina.

Although Andrina's divine soul was very sensitive, it had a limited range and couldn't observe scenes far away like Han Shuo could with his demon generals.

"What's going on?" Andrina asked, confused.

"There is a large group of people secretly gathering towards us. They were all extremely powerful. They were very careful to hide their auras and keep an eye on us. I think they are Godhunters - not the scattered and independent type, but the organised type," Han Shuo said in a deep voice.

"You mean the Godhunter Alliance?" Andrina was astonished, but shortly after she angrily remarked, "Good, they have come to die. I was wondering where to find them!"

Han Shuo shook his head. With a grave expression on his face, he clarified, "They seem to know that you are here, so they don't dare come near us. I think we are in big trouble."

"Huh? What do you mean?" Andrina stared blankly for a moment before a thought crossed her mind and she exclaimed in surprise, "That can't be...?"

Han Shuo nodded and said in a deep voice, "The situation could be similar to the one we faced in Greenfire Swamp before. They seem to be waiting for the few leaders to arrive before they attack us."

Andrina was stunned. She said, "If that's the case, even I have no way of bringing them safely to the City of Shadows."

"I know." Han Shuo took a deep breath and continued, "That is why I now propose that we split up. You will stay with them, hide everyone's presence using the boundaries, and hide in this mountain range for a while. Meanwhile, I will go alone and find a way to draw the Godhunters away. After the Godhunters have left, you will take them to the nearest town, buy an airship and send it to the City of Shadows."

"How will you draw them away? I'm their target. If they can't see me, they won't follow you," Andrina said worriedly.

A demon general flew out of the Cauldron Spirit and gradually solidified into material form right next to Han Shuo. It became a clone of Andrina. After that, several more demon generals flew out and turned into the images of Stratholme, Fanny and the others. They were carbon copies with no visible differences from the real versions of themselves.

"What, what the." Everyone in the group was shocked by the scene.

"This is how I will draw them away. Any more questions?" Han Shuo smiled and asked Andrina.

"Dude, how in the world did you do that?" Andrina shook her head and said with a wry smile, "Last time you told me that this life form could only be used for spying and reconnaissance. And now it turns out that they can also shape-shift. How many other secrets are you hiding?"
