The Cauldron Spirit was autonomous and self-aware. As the primary soul of the Cauldron of the Myriad Demon, it knew the demonic weapon inside and out and could actually assist Han Shuo in many ways.
Following the Cauldron Spirit's instructions, Han Shuo sent his Avatar of Destruction out of his body and it landed in the Cauldron of the Myriad Demon in its Demonslayer Edge form. He then withdrew the three spirit demons he had refined and let them float around inside the Cauldron.
"What are you going to do next?" Han Shuo asked the Cauldron Spirit.
"I'm going to transfer the negative energy and weak souls in your demonic weapon to the spirit demons. Don't worry, nothing can go wrong," the Cauldron Spirit replied.
"Is there anything else you need me to do?" Han Shuo inquired.
"You only need to leave the Cauldron and later, when I instruct you, put a few drops of your blood into the Cauldron to officially become my master. After this procedure is completed, I can stay in your body and we can communicate at any time using the same method of communication!" The Cauldron Spirit replied.
"How do I get out of here?" Han Shuo asked, remembering that he had been forcibly sucked into the Cauldron of the Myriad Demon by the energy coming from it.
"Just fly out. The energy that bound you is all gone now."
Han Shuo stared blankly for a moment before trying. Immediately, he discovered that the energy covering his head had indeed disappeared. With a thought, Han Shuo began to fly towards the exit. The demonic yuan that had condensed into liquid form erupted like mini-explosions in every cell of his body. Not having fully adjusted to his recently increased flight speed, he flew far past the opening of the cauldron.
Han Shuo was astonished to find himself high above the formation crux of the colossal Ninth Realm Mystical Yin Harvester. As he looked down into the hole, he saw a large green copper cauldron about a metre high. Bizarre writings glowing with green light covered every surface of the cauldron. The centre of the cauldron was filled with dense mist.
As Han Shuo watched intently, the Myriad Demon Cauldron gradually rose through the hole and came to a halt as it hovered in front of Han Shuo. It then gradually shrank to a size that fit perfectly in the palm of Han Shuo's hand.
"Drop your blood into the cauldron and you will be the new master of the Myriad Cauldron Demon !" the cauldron spirit's voice physically sounded from the mouth of the cauldron.
Han Shuo immediately did as the Cauldron Spirit instructed. He pricked the tip of the middle finger of his right hand and squirted his blood into the Cauldron of the Myriad Demon.
"Enough!" said the Cauldron Spirit of the Myriad Demon Cauldron.
The moment Han Shuo's blood entered the Myriad Cauldron Demon, it began to burst with a magnificent radiance. The writings on the surface of the Cauldron seemed to come to life as they twisted and wriggled like earthworms. From a distance, these wriggling ancient scriptures formed multiple hideous and terrifying patterns. It looked extremely sinister and mysterious.
Moments later, an abstruse connection was formed between Han Shuo and the Cauldron Spirit.
Han Shuo gazed intently at the Cauldron of the Myriad Demon for a few seconds with glistening eyes and without moving a muscle before he suddenly received another transmission from the Cauldron Spirit within his consciousness, "It's done. From now on, you are officially my new master!"
After transmitting the message, the Myriad Cauldron Demon , glowing with a hazy green light, slipped from Han Shuo's palm and flew into his body. When Han Shuo used his consciousness to examine his internal organs, he discovered that the Cauldron of the Myriad Demon had taken up residence above his abdomen as if it were one of his organs.
"Master, everything here will crumble and collapse after my departure. The Exalted Demonlord has planned this for a long time. An earth-shattering transformation is imminent. You should leave this place immediately lest you suffer injury when the Ninth Realm Mystical Yin Harvester is destroyed," the Cauldron Spirit warned.
Han Shuo was astonished by the Cauldron Spirit's words. He began to carefully sense changes in the environment around him and discovered that, just as the Cauldron Spirit had said, everything in this place seemed to be slowly changing. The mountains surrounding it were emitting dull, muffled sounds inside. Looking at them from a distance, Han Shuo felt as if the mountains were drunk.
"How much time before this place completely destroys itself? Also, how much time has passed since I started absorbing the mystical yin aura in the cauldron?" Han Shuo asked hastily.
"Everything in here will be destroyed in less than two hours. There will be no trace left. After that, no one in this universe will even have a clue that the Exalted Demonlord has used anything here. You can relax. You have been in the Cauldron for nine days," the Cauldron Spirit replied.
Han Shuo was shocked - shocked at how little time he had actually spent in the Cauldron!
Han Shuo knew from experience that breakthroughs would take longer and longer as he progressed through the realms. The process of strengthening his physical body at the point of a breakthrough could possibly take months, and even longer for the entire process to be completed. Originally, he thought he had been in there for at least several years, or even decades, not just nine short days!
When Han Shuo remained silent, the Cauldron Spirit seemed to know what Han Shuo was thinking and transmitted, "The Exalted Demonlord personally set this place up, so it's not surprising that it would be remarkable. Not to mention the effects I have. So don't be so surprised that the duration has been reduced to only nine days!"
Han Shuo was immediately enlightened by the Cauldron Spirit's explanation. It was not unreasonable that the formations used by such a powerful figure as Gu Tian Xie, the Exalted Demonlord at the helm of the Myriad Demon Cauldron, could shorten the entire process to only nine days.
"What happened to those who were in the formations? Are they all dead?" Han Shuo asked as a thought suddenly crossed his mind.
"Not yet. But if you want them dead, they will be. If you want them alive, they will be alive!"
"Care to clarify?"
"Before the Ninth Realm Mystical Yin Harvester is completely destroyed, I will still have control over everything in here. When you entered the Cauldron, I used the formations here to isolate and trap each of them. They are still trapped. If you want, I can kill them at any time," the Cauldron Spirit replied calmly. Han Shuo understood that this meant that using the demonic formations here that had not yet self-destructed, Cauldron Spirit could kill gods at the level of Emperor, Eriksson and Olde as easily as the snap of a finger.
"That's great. But there are some of them that I want to kill personally with my own hands, while some of them could be useful to me in the future and must not be allowed to die!" Han Shuo replied.
"No problem!" The Cauldron Spirit replied.
The dozen or so mystical demons that had been circling around all this time gave Han Shuo a shock by suddenly whooshing at him as he was about to leave. But before Han Shuo could take any defensive measures, he felt a slight tremor coming from the Cauldron Spirit within his body. The mouth of the Cauldron of the Myriad Demon was exposed on his lower abdomen, sucking in the dozens of mystical demons.
"Master, I can use the Cauldron to transform powerful souls directly into demon generals. The Cauldron of Myriad Demons can also contain a myriad of demons. In fact, my power and energy come from the number and strength of the demons stored in the Cauldron.
"Before the Exalted Demonlord fought with this existence in this universe, the Cauldron contained an uncountable number of demon generals. Among them were about a thousand demon generals as powerful as those twelve mystical demons, and over two hundred demon generals even more formidable than those mystical demons. Most of the time, the Exalted DemonLord did not need to deal with his enemies personally - I could just destroy them directly with the countless demons in my body!
However, during this battle against this existence, I have exhausted almost all the demon generals I had. That is why I have become so weak. Even these dozen demon generals were gathered when they ventured into this place, while the consciousness of the Exalted Demonlord had not yet perished," the Cauldron Spirit explained.
"So you're saying that as long as you can capture the soul of an expert while he's dying, he can be refined into a demon general in your cauldron? The more and the more powerful demon generals there are in your cauldron, the more powerful you'll become?" Han Shuo was astonished.
The DemonSlayer's Edge also contained countless souls. However, comparing them to the Demon Generals within the Cauldron of the Myriad Demon was like comparing ants to mountains - they were in no way of the same class. The demon generals formed within the Cauldron of Myriad Demon, such as these mystical demons, were powerful enough to easily cause immense pain to godly beings. Perhaps even the master soul that had previously been formed in the Demonslayer's Edge by assembling numerous souls would have no chance against just one of the twelve mystical demons formed in the Cauldron.
From the words of the Cauldron Spirit, Han Shuo also learned that these mystical demons were not even the most powerful demon generals. Han Shuo simply did not dare to imagine how formidable the Cauldron of Myriad Demon must have been in its glory days.
"That's right. The more demon generals there are in the Cauldron, the more powerful they are, the more energy and ability I have. However, there is a criterion for the souls that can be transformed into Demon Generals using the Cauldron. They must be at least as powerful as the souls you used to refine your spirit demons. But even then, they would only turn into the lowest level Demon Generals. Souls weaker than that cannot be turned into Demon Generals. They can only be used to feed other demon generals," the Cauldron Spirit told Han Shuo the overwhelming truth.
Han Shuo smiled bitterly. He had not expected that souls with demigod strength would be the minimum requirement for forming a demon general in the Cauldron. Those so-called spirit demons that he had refined with the soul of the orc shaman had seemed rather inferior.
"Um, those spirit demons I refined can evolve. Are they considered good?" Han Shuo asked the Cauldron Spirit rather disappointedly.
"The base materials you used to refine those spirit demons were too inferior. Therefore, there won't be much room for them to develop. The mystical demons I have refined are better than them. When you are finally able to collect powerful souls, I will refine a spirit demon for you. Then you will see what a difference it makes!" the Cauldron Spirit continued to drop his powerful bomb on Han Shuo.
Lowgods and Midgods souls are only refined into mystical demons by the Cauldron. What would it take to refine a spirit demon, a higher class demon general? A Highgod soul?
Han Shuo simply did not dare to imagine!
When Han Shuo remembered the words of the Cauldron Spirit a moment ago, he reckoned that these two hundred or so demon generals, more powerful than his mystical demons, must be spirit demons. What did that mean? There were more than two hundred souls of Highgod strength in that cauldron! Han Shuo was simply stunned.
Suddenly, Han Shuo felt that the three spirit demons that he had gone to great lengths to refine were completely insignificant and not even worth mentioning compared to those refined by the Cauldron of Myriad Demon. Han Shuo shook his head and sighed.
"You are my master. You can choose how to distribute the demon generals in the Cauldron. How about putting those three little spirit demons in the cauldron? In the future, if you collect some weaker souls that can't be turned into demon generals, they can be turned into demonic aura that the three can absorb. What do you think?" the Cauldron Spirit asked Han Shuo's opinion.
"Just do what you think is best. Alright, let's go. I want to find Eriksson and kill him!" Han Shuo hurried. He was no longer as interested in his three spirit demons after hearing the Cauldron Spirit's words.
The Cauldron Spirit showed Han Shuo where to go and fell silent.
Before the Ninth Realm Mystical Yin Harvester was completely destroyed, everything in this place was under the control of the Cauldron Spirit. This meant that Han Shuo was the de facto master of this place. Han Shuo suddenly discovered that when he expanded his consciousness through the Cauldron Spirit, the range of his consciousness increased many times over. In just a few moments, he had gained a complete understanding of the entire situation in this place.
He discovered that Donna, Li Wei and the others were still in the same place. However, one thing was different - the method of leaving the area had changed. As none of them understood the wonders of the formations, they were all trapped and unable to leave the area.
Eriksson and Emperor were in another area together. They were trapped in a disorientating formation filled with dense fog and they had exhausted themselves by going in circles.
Olde and Kelly were somewhere much further away. Olde seemed to have given up and just lay on the ground as if he had fallen asleep. Meanwhile, Kelly looked around, anxiously trying to find a way out.
From Cauldron Spirit's description, Han Shuo learned that Olde possessed the mightiest power of them all. Cauldron Spirit had trapped Olde in a series of demonic formations that were linked together. He had tried everything, but he couldn't leave the combination of demonic formations, so a few days before Han Shuo woke up, he decided to just lay down.
"I don't know what your relationship is with them, so I didn't kill any of them - I just trapped them all," Cauldron Spirit transmitted.
"Well done. There are a few of them that are still useful, two that I will finish off immediately, and another two - I haven't come to a decision about them yet," Han Shuo transmitted to Cauldron Spirit as he walked towards where Emperor and Eriksson were.
Han Shuo had been able to travel freely through this entire facility before he had obtained the Cauldron of the Myriad Demon. And now that he was in control of this treasure, it was a walk in the park for him.
Soon enough, Han Shuo arrived at the exact spot where Emperor and Eriksson were. While the two were wearily searching for a way out, Han Shuo's figure suddenly appeared out of the hazy mist.
"Hello guys! Looking for the way out?" Han Shuo smiled brightly as he greeted Eriksson and Emperor, who were looking haggard and desperate.
Anyone would look as exhausted as they were if they had been circling the same area for nine days straight.
Han Shuo's appearance was like a ray of hope.
The faces of the two beaten and exhausted men suddenly shook. They looked at Han Shuo in amazement and shouted at the same time, "How did you get here? Where did you come from?"
"From outside, of course. Hehe, your faces look quite 'outstanding' now!" Han Shuo said with a calm and bright smile.
"Kid, I may not be able to get out, but I can at least get you out!" Eriksson put on a gloomy face and coldly snickered after being ridiculed by Han Shuo.
"Oh, wonderful! I came here with the same intention of personally taking you out! Let's see who really gets wiped out!" Han Shuo chuckled. He wanted to test the power of this Omen Realm he had recently acquired on this duo!
