Chapter 600 - Chapter 602: Submission

Ever since Han Shuo was a magic apprentice, he had heard the name Ayermike Cotton mentioned by many people. The reason why the Lancelot Empire was able to be founded and become a great nation on the Profound Continent that stood the test of time was solely due to Ayermike Cotton.

It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that without this person called Ayermike Cotton, the Lancelot Empire would not have existed.

Five hundred years ago, as the Lancelot Empire sharpened its swords and prepared to sweep through the other lands, the Empire's protector, Ayermike Cotton, suddenly disappeared.

With the mysterious disappearance of Ayermike Cotton, the concerns of the other nations began to grow. They joined forces to prevent the Lancelot Empire from being conquered. Since then, the Lancelot Empire has essentially stopped expanding its territories.

No citizen of the Lancelot Empire would be unaware of the glorious days when Ayermike Cotton was still around. Ayermike Cotton was one of the greatest characters the citizens of the Lancelot Empire remembered most.

Who would have thought that one of those imprisoned in a boundary deep beneath Dragon Valley would be the pride of the Lancelot Empire - the demigod being - the dark divine magus Ayermike Cotton.

From the moment the Earth Elite Zombie informed Han Shuo that one of the prisoners was Ayermike Cotton, Han Shuo made up his mind to open the Boundary. There would finally be a real answer to Ayermike Cotton's disappearance five hundred years ago, which surely had something to do with the Primordial Dragon.

Since Ayermike Cotton had already attained the power of a demigod five hundred years ago, perhaps only the guardian of the Profound Continent, the Primordius Dragon, had the ability to imprison him.

After learning the identities of the prisoners, Han Shuo sent the Earth Elite Zombie back to the netherworld. His Avatar of Destruction transformed back into the Demonslayer's Edge, which Han Shuo then firmly grasped in his hand. The destructive energy in his Destruction Avatar and the Demonic Yuan in his main body suddenly erupted from the Demonslayer's Edge and slammed into the boundary.

Dong!

The barrier resonated. Han Shuo's death avatar suddenly unleashed necromancy magic. Thousands upon thousands of bone arrows bombarded the barrier.

The Demonslayer's Edge, which had struck with its greatest power, erupted with energy and struck the barrier again.

Han Shuo's three bodies continuously bombarded the Earth Elemental barrier erected by the Primordial Dragon. The succession of attacks had quickly consumed all of the divine energy contained within the barrier.

Ting! Finally, the Earth Elemental Barrier could no longer withstand the attacks of the three Han Shuos and gave way with a crunching sound.

Based on the round of tedious brute force attacks and the time and energy it took to destroy the barrier, Han Shuo had estimated that the Primordial Dragon was of mid-stage lowgod strength. As long as the Primordial Dragon had not made a breakthrough since he had set up the barrier, Han Shuo was confident that he would be able to kill him the next time they met.

After taking a quick breath of air, Han Shuo expanded his consciousness and immediately detected three very powerful presences from the destroyed underground barrier.

Before Han Shuo could get a good look at them, there was a wild clamour from below. Three shadow trails flashed through and soared into the air.

"Damn dragons, I will climb up and kill you all!" a strong-looking old man roared at the sky.

He was about two metres tall, his head covered in long, dishevelled, fiery red hair, and he was well-muscled from head to toe. Cruel, sinister lights glittered from his eyes. You could tell at a glance that this person was evil.

"Pegasus, be quiet," a sweet-looking little girl said in a soft voice.

This girl had emerald green hair that fell over her shoulders and looked to be only twelve or thirteen years old. Her pointed ears looked like those of an elf. However, the aura that came from her wasn't as peaceful and natural as an elf's, but strangely diabolical.

"Who opened the barrier?" the last person was a sinister-looking elderly man. He wore an old and tattered magic robe. His voice was soft and deep. His body seemed to absorb light. He looked very sombre.

All three of them looked like humans, but as Han Shuo probed them with his consciousness, he quickly discovered that apart from the gloomy old man, the rest were not human. The old man wearing an old and tattered magic robe was supposed to be the legend of the Lancelot Empire - Ayermike Cotton. Han Shuo could easily tell from the design of his magic robe.

Han Shuo detected the presence of a magical crystal core inside the body of this strong old man named Pegasus. He seemed to be a very powerful magical beast.

As for the sweet-looking little girl with long emerald green hair, Han Shuo guessed that she must be a Banshee, a race extremely rare on the Profound Continent.

A human, a magical beast, and a banshee. These three experts, trapped in the Boundary by the Primordial Dragon, possessed astonishing strength. After five hundred years, Ayermike Cotton had grown in strength and broken through the demigod realm to become a basegod. This Banshee must have cultivated Wind Elemental Energy. She also possessed Basegod strength. However, as for this powerful magical beast, the magical core in its body seemed rather strange, so Han Shuo couldn't tell its true strength from it.

"Young man, are you the one who destroyed the barrier and saved us?" Ayermike Cotton looked around and saw Han Shuo standing tall under the barrier. He asked in amazement.

Han Shuo smiled and replied urbanely, "That is correct. You three are free."

Oh, handsome man, thank you for saving us. How can we ever repay you?" the banshee named Graeae said smiling as she looked at Han Shuo. She looked like an innocent, naive little girl.

"It is simple. As I have given you all freedom, you will serve me," Han Shuo smiled and calmly told the three of them.

"What do you mean?" Pegasus, the magical beast, opened his round eyes as wide as the sun.

Han Shuo glanced at the three and smiled, "Follow me and I guarantee that none of you will ever be imprisoned by the Primordius Dragon again."

"Are you worthy?" Pegasus looked Han Shuo up and down suspiciously. He grinned and sneered, "Do you think we will be your slaves just because you saved us by mere luck?"

"Mere luck?" Han Shuo smiled and soon turned a pensive look on his face, muttering to himself for a while. When he saw the three of them looking at him with flickering glances, Han Shuo chuckled, "Since Ayermike Cotton is the hero of our Lancelot Empire who helped found the country, I will give him the respect he deserves." After a short pause, Han Shuo's face turned cold and he stared at Pegasus and the Banshee as he said, "How about you two, do you want to seriously follow me and do my bidding, or do you want to go to hell?"

"Hee hee, what an overbearing character. I like that," Graeae the banshee giggled, looking up and down at Han Shuo with fascination, and asked curiously, "Is it really you who broke the seal of that stubborn Greater Dragon?"

"You are a citizen of the Lancelot Empire?" The originally displeased Ayermike Cotton suddenly turned pleasantly surprised and asked when he heard Han Shuo's words.

Han Shuo didn't answer the banshee's question, but smilingly said to Ayermike Cotton, "That's right. I have now inherited the task you have yet to complete - to make the Lancelot Empire rule the entire Profound Continent!

"Arrogant boy, do you think the old dragon will let you do as you please?" Pegasus asked as he glared at Han Shuo.

"I will kill him. I don't think a dead dragon will be able to stop me, will it?" Han Shuo said confidently.

"Good one, young man. Well, regardless of whether you actually have the ability to do that, having the courage to have such an imagination is already extraordinary," Ayermike Cotton said as he laughed. His attitude towards Han Shuo changed drastically as soon as he learned that Han Shuo was from the Lancelot Empire.

"Ayermike Cotton, you old thing, don't tell me that you are going to help him take care of us? We were locked in a cell together for so many years!" Pegasus glared at Ayermike Cotton and shouted.

"Excuse me? I don't need anyone's help, it won't take me any effort at all to kill you two," Han Shuo looked at the two and groaned, "This Primordius Dragon is a bit soft-hearted and had only imprisoned you all. But if you two dare to provoke me, I will kill you both without the slightest hesitation.

As he finished these words, using the energy of his avatars within his body, Han Shuo suddenly unleashed a Death Domain of Divinity, followed by a Destruction Domain of Divinity.

Pegasus, who had just opened his mouth to speak, felt the sudden bizarre transformation of the surrounding space. His face instantly turned to stone. Graeae was startled and exclaimed in surprise, "The Domain of Divinity!"

"Double Domains of Divinity... Who, who are you? Where do you come from?" Even Ayermike Cotton was startled. He stared at Han Shuo.

"I am indeed a citizen of the Lancelot Empire. You will find out after we leave the Dragon Valley." Han Shuo had great respect for this expert who had disappeared five hundred years ago. He explained immediately after hearing his question.

Ayermike Cotton stared blankly for a while and turned to look at the Banshee and Pegasus with complicated emotions in his eyes, "What do you say? I'm no match for him. There's no point in resisting."

"Old thing, do we have a second option?" Graeae the banshee pulled a long face, shrugged cutely and asked helplessly.

"If we don't want to die, there's only one option left," Ayermike Cotton said in a deep voice.

The three of them looked at each other, hesitated for a moment, and then bowed respectfully to Han Shuo, lowering their heads. Five hundred years ago, they might have been the all powerful experts of the Profound Continent. However, after five hundred years, the much younger Han Shuo had greatly surpassed them in power. Therefore, they had no choice but to submit and serve.

Han Shuo took a step forward and helped Ayermike Cotton to his feet. He said sincerely, "As citizens of the Lancelot Empire, we walk the same path and share the same enemy. You don't need to be polite to me.
