"Are you really willing to help me?" Stratholme was actually quite shocked to see Han Shuo agree so easily. Even he felt absurd when he said those words, for in his heart, he did not believe that Han Shuo would ever help him. After all, he was well aware of what it meant to become a god. He felt that the friendship between the two of them was not deep enough, and that he should not expect such a heavenly favour.
Meanwhile, Han Shuo found the old monster's astonishment funny. From Han Shuo's point of view, Stratholme was just a demigod about to break through as a basegod. He still had an insurmountable distance to go to become a Lowgod. In Han Shuo's eyes, a basegod could certainly not be a threat to him, considering that of the demons he had in the Abyss realm, the vast majority of them were at the basegod level - even if they had not broken through on their own!
A mere basegod was nothing to Han Shuo, who possessed two Lowgod avatars. Back in Tarrag Canyon, Han Shuo had once teamed up with Stratholme to fight enemies. From their interactions, Han Shuo knew that the old monster was someone worth befriending. Moreover, Stratholme had served as a protector near Brettel City for years. This made Han Shuo's opinion of him rise even higher.
"You have formed an elemental soul after fusing your soul with the Combat Aura Crystal. In order to progress further, you need to focus your efforts on your body. You are a swordsman to begin with. The combat aura you have cultivated has always been in your body. In this regard, you have extraordinary advantages. It's very easy for you to cultivate an elemental body," Han Shuo slowly explained as he looked at Stratholme.
After his trip to the Abyss Realm, Han Shuo had come to understand the cultivation methods of the two worlds. Based on his knowledge of cultivation techniques, Han Shuo discovered that Stratholme, who was cultivating in the Combat Aura, contrary to expectations, had similar cultivation methods to those of the Abyss Realm. He would also focus on training the combat aura in his body, neglecting the soul aspect in the same way.
Logically, once Stratholme had formed an elemental soul, it shouldn't be too difficult for him to form an elemental body. While wondering why he had not yet done so, Han Shuo slowly probed the old monster's body condition with his consciousness. Immediately, he discovered that the old monster was indeed filled with abundant combat aura. However, the combat aura was concentrated in his chest and did not spread to cover his skin and skeleton.
With a single glance, Han Shuo immediately understood where the problem lay. Stratholme had long been accustomed to the combat aura cultivation method on the Profound Continent. Although he had the unique advantage of forming an Elemental Body compared to the average magus, he was trapped in this rigid line of thought, unable to think outside the box and see this problem in a different light.
Stratholme felt flustered when he saw Han Shuo staring at him with strange, glittering eyes without saying a word. Even though the old monster knew that Han Shuo was surely doing this out of good will, the pressure Han Shuo was exerting on him still made him feel uncomfortable. Stratholme smiled awkwardly and asked, "Is there a problem?"
Han Shuo nodded with a slight grin and hit the nail on the head, "All this time, you have been cultivating combat aura using the region around your heart as a power source and only wanting to release it through your limbs. However, in order to form an Elemental Body, you need to spread your combat aura to every cell in your body. When your entire body is filled with combat aura, that is approximately the time when your Elemental Body will take shape.
"It's that simple?" The old monster was stunned.
"It's that simple!" Han Shuo affirmed. But after thinking for a while, he knitted his eyebrows and continued, "However, it's not quite as simple as spreading combat aura throughout your body. First of all, you have to make sure that your body can handle it. You have to find out for yourself. I can't help you with that."
Stratholme seemed to fall into deep thought. After a short moment, Stratholme looked at Han Shuo in confusion and asked, "You said that you had become a god, but why is it that I can't sense the aura that a god should emanate from you? What's the deal with that?"
"It's simple," Han Shuo replied succinctly. With a thought, Han Shuo's two avatars suddenly flew out of his body and their Domains of Divinity were unleashed. All that was left around them was the Elemental Energy of Death and a strange form of Edictal Energy of Destruction. In an instant, Stratholme was enveloped in a formidable and suffocating energy.
Stratholme was drenched in cold sweat. He was more frightened than amazed. Within the domains of divinity that Han Shuo had deliberately deployed, he felt as powerless and defeated as if he were facing a towering mountain. Although not a mainstream element, closely related to the elements of light and air, combat aura could be considered a type of elemental energy. When Han Shuo's two Domains of Divinity were deployed, Stratholme immediately felt the presence of the Combat Aura between Heaven and Earth that he had relied on for his survival. This sensation caused Stratholme to tremble greatly.
"So this is the power of a god! Even this domain of divinity being alone would be too overwhelming for an ordinary human to resist! Truly terrifying!" After struggling for a long time to overcome the feeling of helplessness, Stratholme finally remarked with a stifled red face.
Han Shuo withdrew the Domains of Divinity and his two avatars deliberately stopped releasing their immense pressure. With his main body, he smiled and asked, "Do you believe me now?"
Stratholme nodded. Fervent lights appeared in his eyes again. He looked deeply into Han Shuo's eyes and asked curiously, "But how is it that you have three bodies? Could it be that one can have additional bodies after becoming a god?"
"No, only I can do that. You must not attempt this or you will undoubtedly be dead!" Han Shuo shrugged his shoulders and continued, "As you know, I am cultivating in another martial art. This martial art will bring me some rather unimaginable transformations. These transformations will only happen to me, and only I can master them."
"You are so lucky!" Stratholme looked at Han Shuo in admiration. Soon after, his gaze stiffened with determination and he said, "Alright, I now know what I need to do to make a breakthrough. Right, with you here in Brettel City, I guess I have nothing to worry about. I will return to Stranglethorn Valley to cultivate right away. I hope to reach your realm one day!
After witnessing the terrifying power of Han Shuo's Domain of Divinity, Stratholme had an indescribable anticipation for this realm. He was one who had an ardent desire to seek and gain greater and greater power. After meeting Han Shuo and being shown the way, Stratholme became rather impatient.
Han Shuo understood how the old monster felt and did not stop him, letting him leave Brettel City for Stranglethorn Valley for a proper round of cultivation.
"It's a pity that none of the gods who died in the Void cultivated combat aura, and I had not received anything suitable for you. Otherwise, I would have given it to you!" Han Shuo sighed softly and spoke after Stratholme left.
In his expedition to the Void, his main body made a breakthrough to the Nine Changes Realm after successfully absorbing the energy within the countless boundaries, seals, and matrices. He continued to carefully explore the valley, which had become virtually harmless, and collected some useful artefacts, which made Han Shuo extremely excited.
However, there was nothing suitable for Stratholme.
After Stratholme, the old monster, left, Han Shuo did not let his avatars return to his main body. After some deliberation, he decided to let the Avatar cultivate in the energy of death underground, deep beneath Brettel City. This was so that he could silently digest the Divine Essence of Death he had obtained in the Void. This divine essence contained a considerable amount of divine energy. For this Avatar of the Death God, who had recently joined the Realm of the Death God, it was the most effective tonic.
Compared to slowly gathering the power of faith from the Abyss Realm, it was much faster to gain divine energy from divine essences. According to Han Shuo's estimation, the divine energy contained in one piece of Divine Essence was more than the Faith Force he would collect from his followers in the Abyss Realm over a period of twenty years. Besides, it didn't take much time to absorb and digest. It was no wonder that the four demon kings would renege on their agreement with Bechymos and fight over a piece of the divine essence.
Indeed, the Divine Essence was an extremely valuable item, especially for a god. Absorbing it was the quickest and most direct way to increase one's power. One tiny little piece of Divine Essence could contain over twenty years of the faith power of the entire Abyss Realm. How terrifying!
While the Avatar of Death remained in Brettel City, the Avatar of Destruction would use the transportation matrix in Brettel City to travel to Ossen City in the Lancelot Empire. Emily, Phoebe and Fanny had been in Ossen City for the past five years. If Han Shuo didn't hurry and get to Ossen City before his three ladies found out, they would surely go on a rampage. Besides, he had to meet Lawrence.
However, Han Shuo was not going to use this body of his avatar to get intimate with his three ladies. Even though his avatars could turn into clones of themselves, since they were not made of flesh and bones. Han Shuo could not get over himself mentally. He had only thought of his two avatars as two of his most powerful weapons and nothing more. When he thought about it, Han Shuo knew that he would have a lot of explaining to do when he saw his three ladies, who would otherwise devour him like animals.
Meanwhile, Han Shuo's main body returned to the Cemetery of Death using the transportation matrix under his city lord's mansion. Upon his return, Han Shuo quickly briefed Jasper and the others before leaving in a hurry. He headed to the Dark Forest where the skeleton of the Dark Dragon Gilbert was buried.
After countless years of waiting, it was finally time to build Gilbert a new body! Only Han Shuo's main body, which was cultivated in demonic arts, could perform this operation, and two Lowgod avatars could do nothing to help. This time, not only did Han Shuo have the best materials, he had even received some divine materials from the Void. Han Shuo believed that the resurrected Dark Dragon Gilbert would be more powerful than ever!
