The duo of Cecrops and Golander marched towards Han Shuo at a slow but steady pace. From time to time, they glanced at Manticole and Leviathan out of the corner of their eyes, carefully watching for any unforeseen danger.
Now that it had come to this, Han Shuo could no longer hide. The only choice left to him was to go all out and fight. Whether or not he could preserve his avatar cultivating the element of death would depend on whether or not he could withstand the attacks of the two demon kings.
All around him, the meteor shower and the spatial edges were wreaking havoc, causing the glorious light to blossom incessantly. Han Shuo was on full alert. His mind was as sharp as it could be. He held the Demonslayer Edge and calmly waited for the two Demon Kings to launch their attacks.
On the contrary, the two Demon Kings, Cecrops and Golander, who were closing in on Han Shuo step by step, seemed relaxed and at ease, as if they didn't take Han Shuo seriously at all. Han Shuo knew that the reason these two demon kings were coming over so slowly was because they were wary of Manticole and Leviathan. In fact, they weren't paying too much attention to the enemy they were about to attack.
When the two got very close to Han Shuo, Cecrops sent a signal to Golander with his eyes. The next thing he knew, the two of them went from walking slowly to charging at Han Shuo at high speed.
These beings from the realm of the Lowgods concentrated their divine energy into their limbs. After two flashes of light, they arrived directly in front of Han Shuo.
The Demonslayer's Edge emitted brilliant beams and transformed into another Han Shuo in a fraction of a second. A merciless energy that wanted to destroy the world erupted. A ball of sinister light with boundless darkness completely enveloped the immediate area.
The two Demon Kings were moving too fast. As a result, they fell into the ball of dark light right after the Demonslayer's Edge created it.
In fact, the duo of Demon Kings, who had absolute confidence in their own strength, made no effort to avoid the darkness, but continued to advance bravely, relying on their senses to shoot at Han Shuo.
Rumbling...
From the centre of the darkness, a huge explosion erupted, as if the heavens had fallen and the earth torn apart. Electric sparks like needles shot through the darkness.
Two loud screams came from the mouths of the two demon kings at the same time. As the tremendous rumbling sounded, the duo that had been charging at Han Shuo retreated with their burning butts at an even faster pace.
Hundreds and thousands of rays of light followed them like their own shadows. Under the unimaginable gaze of Manticole and Leviathan, these whooshing rays of light shot into the retreating Demon Kings.
"Arhhhh... What in the world?! That bastard just risked his own life and triggered boundaries that unleash massive destructive power. Damn it!" Golander cursed loudly.
The roar of the explosion was gone as quickly as it had come. The rays of light faded and the darkness dissipated, revealing the ground that had collapsed into a large pit, surrounded by numerous potholes. Standing behind the large pit was Han Shuo, wielding the Demonslayer's Edge with a callous expression. The corners of his lips curled into a mocking sneer as he coldly gazed at the two demon kings who were screaming.
Those Pearls of Annihilation he had refined in the War Demon Valley were indeed wonderfully effective weapons. As soon as he saw the two Demon Kings retreating, he knew that both of them had been hit.
A Pearl of Annihilation could create a massive explosion, making it a very effective weapon to use against large numbers of enemies. However, since the two Demon Kings were Lowgods, the explosion of the Pearl of Annihilation would only cause them limited injuries. Of course, the Pearls didn't just unleash physical attacks. In fact, their most significant damage came from the Soulpiercers that would shoot out during the massive explosion.
The Soulpiercer was a bizarre demonic weapon that specifically targeted the soul. A single Soulpiercer would be enough to destroy those who did not possess a powerful enough soul. Even for a divine being whose soul had fused with the elements between heaven and earth, once hit, they had to drop everything and concentrate on eliminating the Soulpiercer's sinister energy as quickly as possible before it corroded the soul. The longer they left it, the more damage they would suffer.
It was because Cecrops and Leviathan hadn't really taken Han Shuo to heart, in addition to their false assumption that Han Shuo wouldn't dare to break the rule of the Void, that they had decided to attack Han Shuo so bluntly. Unfortunately for them, Han Shuo, a demonic arts cultivator, had countless tricks up his sleeve. Han Shuo's far-sighted preparation also contributed to him being able to unleash the full formidable power of the Pearl of Destruction, teaching the duo a lesson they would never forget.
As for the rules of the Void and the boundaries that surrounded them, Han Shuo had no qualms whatsoever about breaking them. Under the current circumstances, where he could lose his life at any moment, he had no time to worry about such trivial matters.
The explosion of a Pearl of Annihilation covered an enormous area. Since Han Shuo was in a place surrounded by boundaries, several boundaries were inevitably triggered after the deafening explosion.
The next moment, the wind began to blow wildly, sand and stones were sent flying, and thunder rolled in the sky. The attacks formed by multiple Boundaries came crashing down on all those men.
The Demon Kings Cecrops and Golander, who were doing their utmost to purge the Soulpiercers from their souls, had no choice but to split their focus and defend themselves from the incoming attacks. Inwardly, they cursed Han Shuo for his deception and malice.
Idly watching with cold eyes, Leviathan and Manticole furrowed their brows dramatically. The duo had obviously noticed that Cecrops and Golander had suffered injuries. Given their usual temperament, they would certainly seize the opportunity to finish off the other two Demon Kings without the slightest hesitation. But now, with the appearance of this being called Han Shuo, they did not make the same decision they normally would.
The two exchanged glances. Leviathan nodded with a dark and cold expression before he said in a low voice, "Even though Cecrops and Golander have been at war with us for many years, we are well aware of their strengths. If we do not kill them, they will still pose a threat to us, but the stalemate will remain as it is now," he paused for a moment, glancing at Han Shuo in the distance before continuing, "However, this person will not be so easy to deal with. This guy has boundless potential. Not only is he cultivating a mysterious martial art, but he will soon possess two Lowgod with different energies. If he is left alive in the Abyss, it is only a matter of time before we lose our footing!
Manticole nodded in agreement. With an intense murderous desire in his eyes, he shouted, "This person has boundless potential. He must not be allowed to live!"
Without another word, the two Demon Kings, who were supposed to be mortal enemies of Cecrops and Golander and allies of Han Shuo, suddenly charged at Han Shuo.
Having witnessed Cecrops and Golander's mistake, and considering the fact that the boundaries around them had been destroyed, they no longer held their divine energy in their bodies alone. A dozen or more thunderbolts as thick as the columns of the Colosseum, along with several long, narrow beams of darkness like the scythe of the Grim Reaper, began to slash at Han Shuo before the two demon kings had even approached.
Some energies emanating from the boundaries were reduced to nothingness by the power of the two gods. With a dozen or more lightning bolts and several scythes paving their way, Han Shuo simply had no way of repeating the same trick on them.
"Forgive me, Mr Han Shuo," Leviathan said with a grin. He might have seemed cheerful at times, but at this moment, he looked absolutely diabolical.
Meanwhile, Manticole, the very first demon king to make contact with Han Shuo, said nothing. He unleashed his Domain of Divinity with all his might, closing in on Han Shuo inch by inch.
"I knew you two would attack," Han Shuo said grimly. He wore an ordinary expression as he watched the lightning and darkness come closer and closer.
A strange light rippled through the Demonslayer Edge. It flew out of Han Shuo's hand and instantly transformed into another Han Shuo!
At the same time, Han Shuo's two hands formed a hand seal on his main body. Thousands upon thousands of what looked like demons and ghosts emerged from Han Shuo's palms. Then, suddenly, towering stone pillars began to rise from the originally flat and smooth ground. Huge, colourful banners, seemingly as light as feathers, flew out from his space ring and stuck to the ground according to some mysterious principles.
If Bord and Zinia were here, they would surely recognise that these huge banners and stelaes that suddenly appeared in front of Han Shuo had once stood outside the War Demon Valley. They were the so-called 'Magical Matrix' that could extinguish tens of thousands of lives in an instant!
Unfortunately, neither Bord nor Zinia were present. Manticole and Leviathan had no idea what kind of power lay within those towering stelaes and banners, adorned with drawings of fierce monsters. So they did not stop their attacks, nor did they change their heading. They stuck to their original plan of following behind their thick thunderbolts and scythes, and headed straight for Han Shuo.
Rumbling...
The moment the two entered the magical matrix, an explosion sounded from within, as if the earth had been shattered. At that moment, bloody shadows began to flutter around. Colourful demonic light radiated from the huge banners and intertwined with each other. An inexhaustible, sinister energy spread out from the formation in an instant.
In the blink of an eye, a dozen or more extremely thick thunderbolts and the Reaper's Scythe materialised from the Element of Darkness, which, like a stone falling into the sea, made no reaction. They were shattered and dissolved bit by bit in the thousands and thousands of bizarre lights.
The two demon kings fell into the formation. One of them transformed into a person surrounded by lightning and thunder, his body glowing from head to toe, while the other was completely shrouded in darkness. If Han Shuo's consciousness had not locked onto Manticole, it would have been a real challenge to discover that he was hiding among the shadows of the formations.
The two Demon Kings not only possessed extraordinary strength, but were also sinister and cunning. At this point, they had thrown caution to the wind and were no longer reticent about the boundaries and seals around them. The agreement they had made with Bechymos had long since been put out of their minds. Inside Han Shuo's formation, relying on the miracle of their Domain of Divinity, they had suffered no serious damage and were even able to soar through the air. After all, Lowgods were Lowgods. They certainly weren't existences that these Rakshas and Destroyers could compare to. Most of the magical matrices of necromancy and destruction mixed within the formation lost their effect after the two of them unleashed their Domains of Divinity.
When Han Shuo saw that it was impossible to eliminate or severely injure the two by relying solely on the energy of the formation, he finally summoned Little Skeleton after much deliberation. Han Shuo's main body, his avatar, and Little Skeleton entered the formation together. They were ready to summon all their strength and take advantage of the favourable environment to deal a heavy blow to these double-crossing Demon Kings!
