The last time they were in Tarrag Canyon, the four of them - Han Shuo, Stratholme the Old Monster, Tiana and Reynold - had been on the same side and had successfully wrested some Origin Crystals from the hands of the Soul Race. Afterwards, Tiana suggested they seek refuge at the Church of Light headquarters, and they fell into Tiana's secret plan to sell them to the Church of Light. Had it not been for Metal Elite Zombie's invincible golden Cudgel, Han Shuo and Stratholme the Old Monster might never have broken free of the Church of Light's shackles.
Han Shuo and Stratholme the Old Monster went through fire and water, risking their lives for those crystals, with Stratholme even taking the Origin Crystal of Water for Tiana. On top of that, the old monster had been friends with Tiana for many years. In the end, Tiana betrayed him without the slightest hesitation. This woman was so despicable and shameless that even Han Shuo found her entire being repulsive.
All the while, Han Shuo treated his enemies with all sorts of cruelty. But he treated his friends with heartfelt sincerity. At that time, Han Shuo and the old monster Stratholme still had some bad feelings. But at that moment, Han Shuo had to admit that the old monster was truly loyal to his friends. Han Shuo hadn't expected that this woman would betray him for her own interests.
So when he met Tiana again, this woman without the slightest sense of shame, Han Shuo did not show her the slightest respect.
When the druid Lilian and some disciples from the Ice Shrine heard Han Shuo calling Tiana a 'bitch', they simply couldn't believe their ears that such a foul word had come out of Han Shuo's mouth.
Normally, when powerful experts reached a certain level of strength, they would have a noble title or designation. The Profound Continent was a world where people were obsessed with etiquette. Characters of such prestige would never be so unkind and malicious in their speech, even when they were facing their greatest enemies with bone-deep hatred. But Han Shuo was not of this world, and he was not one to be constrained. He would swear and curse as he pleased, showing not the slightest respect or courtesy.
This nasty, foul curse of Han Shuo's was even more effective than the most terrible magic curse. It was obvious to the naked eye that this supreme expert, the so-called Snow Celestial of the Ice Shrine, was so enraged that she was trembling from head to toe. Her face was as hostile as it could be.
"I will make you taste the cruelest punishment from the Ice Shrine and slowly torture your soul to your miserable death. You heretic, you should not exist on this earth. Your pitiful scream will always echo in my mind as the most pleasant melody". Snow Celestial Tiana's eyes were sharp blades that sliced through Han Shuo's body as she spoke in a strange and slow intonation, as if making a vow.
"Come to me, I'm still waiting for your punishment!" Han Shuo wore a grim face, like a villain waiting to see the world burn. His eyes were filled with malevolent glances, obviously unafraid of Tiana's threat.
At that moment, Ice Celestial Corey, who had broken through the roof and soared high into the sky, slowly descended as he coughed.
Corey, whose face had originally been icy cold, now looked unhealthily pale. He had obviously suffered quite a bit of damage from Han Shuo's blow, otherwise he wouldn't have looked like this.
"Hey!" Han Shuo suddenly turned to Kelly of the Druidic Order and called for his attention. When Kelly looked back at him somewhat confused, Han Shuo suggested, "You take care of Corey, and I will take care of that bitch. Let us join hands and destroy the foundation of the Ice Shrine today. What do you say?"
Although Han Shuo didn't know Kelly's true strength, the fact that the Ice Shrine had mobilised such a large force to deal with him clearly indicated that he was also an extremely powerful character with tyrannical strength.
Initially, Han Shuo had planned to use the formidable threat of the Six-Horned Tribe King to lure him to the Ice Shrine's headquarters and deal him a devastating blow. However, given the current situation, if Kelly, that mighty powerhouse of the Druidic Order with unfathomable strength, were to cooperate with Han Shuo, there would be absolutely no need to wait for the Six-Horned Tribal King to arrive in order to slaughter the two most powerful existences of the Ice Shrine.
Ice Celestial Corey was indeed a powerful being. However, after being severely injured, his strength had greatly diminished. Han Shuo was convinced that Kelly, this expert with unfathomable strength, would surely get rid of or hinder Ice Celestial Corey. As for this Snow Celestial Tiana, although she was a demigod, a Divine Magus, Han Shuo still had the confidence to defeat or even kill her.
As for those puny, useless troops from the Ice Shrine, as a Grand Necromancy Magus, Han Shuo could use his five elite zombies and his vast army of undead to completely overrun them.
It was for all these reasons that Han Shuo would make this proposal.
Under Han Shuo's watchful gaze, the leader of the Druidic Order, Kelly, flickered his eyes. It was as if he was emotionally affected by Han Shuo's proposal. This great sage who had lived for who knew how long was obviously not a shallow person. He knew that this was a once in a lifetime opportunity. There had been too many years of old grudges between him and the Ice Shrine. Maybe it was time to settle the old scores.
""Okay!" muttered Great Sage Kelly of the Druidic Order after muttering to himself indecisively.
Immediately after Great Sage Kelly uttered the word 'okay', his demeanour swelled madly. His body followed suit. In the blink of an eye, Great Sage Kelly transformed into a giant ape about a dozen metres tall. Some of the Auction House's still-standing structures collapsed completely.
A terrifying energy of ultimate richness suddenly erupted from that monster ape. It was as if an immensely powerful god who had existed since the beginning of time was looking down on the world with an awe-inspiring countenance.
The art of Shapeshifting, which only the Druids of the Druidic Order could master, was truly miraculous. Kelly, suddenly transformed into a gigantic ape, showed no sign of his doddering senility. When such a colossal, battle-ready monster appeared, everyone doubted that they'd stand a chance against Kelly.
The Druidic Order was definitely not to be looked down upon, even if they weren't as strong and solid as the Church of Calamity. Seeing the terrifying power of Kelly, Han Shuo even thought in his heart that perhaps it was because the Druidic Order worshipped nature and peace that they had been robbed by the Church of Light as the number one religion on the Profound Continent.
Roar!
In full ape form, Han Shuo could no longer associate the old man he had just met, past his prime, with this magnificent beast. Kelly beat his chest as he roared furiously. His huge hands, the size of a small mountain, suddenly came crashing down on the white robed disciples of the Ice Shrine.
The whooshing wind kicked up the sand and stones, sending them flying in all directions. Even before the terrifying energy landed, the wind itself caused pain to the skin and flesh of those below. Had it been a full blast, no one would have been able to withstand it and would have been instantly reduced to a meatball. With a longsword in his hand, Corey charged at Kelly. He seemed determined to fight Kelly until only one of them was left standing.
Suddenly, a massive, glittering, translucent icicle wrapped itself around Ice Celestial Corey. Hiding in the centre of the icicle, Ice Celestial Corey shot towards Kelly.
"About time. I want to see if you really have progressed after so many years!" Although Kelly was now a giant ape, he could still speak human words. His voice, however, sounded like thunder, and he boasted an extremely bold and powerful demeanour.
Dong!
One of Kelly's gigantic hands that had been smashing down suddenly turned to smack Ice Celestial Corey away. The razor-sharp icicle was instantly shattered when it was struck by Kelly's mountainous palm. Then, as the wind generated by the palm fell on Ice Celestial Corey, it caused Corey to lose his balance and nearly fly.
Outside, the Knights of the Ice Shrine, who had surrounded the auction house and were ready to rush in at any moment, suddenly saw a colossal body emerge from the auction house as a huge palm unexpectedly came crashing down on them.
When the palm landed, a dozen or so earth riders and the warhorses they were riding on were instantly transformed into a bloody lump of flesh! This blow from Kelly was so powerful that their bodies were stuck to the ground, flattened. It was truly as if a huge mountain had fallen and rolled onto these people. The meatball was all smooth and level, not the slightest unevenness.
"So powerful!" Han Shuo was astonished and immediately exclaimed in surprise.
It had to be said that Kelly, who had transformed into a giant ape, was simply terrifying. Han Shuo had never seen such a powerful attack before. This was truly an unstoppable force, a tyrannical brute force of the first class.
"Of course. Back then, we were defeated because Kelly, the great sage, had to deal with both Snow Celestial and Ice Celestial on his own. Hmph, if our Druidic Order hadn't only had a demigod existence, we would have been able to stop the savagery of the Ice Shrine in the Kasi Empire!" Lilian, the druid, had actually moved to Han Shuo's side at an unknown time and explained quietly but proudly.
One person against the duo of Ice and Snow Celestial! Han Shuo was horrified. It seemed that even though they were all in the demigod realm, this leader of the Druidic Order obviously possessed a power that surpassed that of Ice Celestial Corey and Snow Celestial Tiana. No wonder that when Kelly appeared in the Kasi Empire, both Corey and Tiana immediately rushed to the scene.
However, Snow Celestial Tiana had obviously fused her soul with the Water Origin Crystal. Han Shuo felt that Tiana's strength had greatly increased. If Han Shuo hadn't happened to show up at the auction house this time, Kelly probably wouldn't have been able to handle the two demigods on his own.
Now that Han Shuo was here, he would of course not let the Ice Shrine achieve the results they wanted. Seeing Snow Celestial Tiana frenetically chanting spells, Han Shuo suddenly said with a laugh, "Hey, bitch, don't forget about me!"
"Young friend, all you have to do is block Tiana from me for ten minutes. After that, the Ice Shrine will have nothing to fear!" Kelly, who had turned into a giant ape, let out a thunderous belly laugh. All the pikes and spears that the knights were firing at Kelly were like tickles on his body. He took great strides and walked around the desolate auction house, slapping his hand from time to time. Those squadrons of knights from the Ice Shrine were now mostly nothing more than meat patties.
"No problem at all!" Han Shuo assured and charged at Snow Celestial Tiana with lightning speed.
