This was a world of ice and snow. The coldest place on the Profound Continent was right here. A cold wind blew all the way. Snow covered every corner. It was a vast white expanse as far as the eye could see. Trees, stones, rivers, everything was encrusted with a layer of ice. It was as if the world had lost its colour.
However, within the scope of Han Shuo's consciousness, he sensed a trace of the presence of ice bears, snow wolves and frost eagles in this bone-chillingly cold region. These magical creatures, who preferred cold regions as their natural habitat, roamed this remote, deserted world of ice and snow, adding a touch of vitality to this world.
Of the many mountain peaks, Han Shuo had a specific destination in mind. His heart was as cold as ice and he was determined to massacre as he flew at lightning speed.
The most formidable figures in the Ice Shrine were the duo of Ice Celestial Corey and Snow Celestial Tiana. They were the true backbone of the Ice Shrine. Of the two, Snow Celestial Tiana once plotted against Han Shuo at the Sacred Mountain, and Han Shuo was almost taken alive by the Church of Light. On the other hand, there was Ice Celestial Corey. Not only did he abuse the entire Dark Dragon race, but his actions even led to Gilbert's death.
On top of that, the Ice Shrine and the Church of Light were the best of allies. Han Shuo could find no reason not to retaliate against them.
Before approaching the frozen mountain in the centre, Han Shuo slowed his flying speed. With his consciousness still fully unfolded, he concealed the presence emanating from his body. He carefully watched every movement on the main peak, searching for a way to infiltrate without being detected.
As he focused his attention, Han Shuo's consciousness immediately sensed the existence of a frost and cold boundary all around the peak. The boundary enveloped the entire main peak of the mountain range with fierce cold wind and ice. Within this cold wind and ice, Han Shuo sensed the presence of the divine energy of the Ice Goddess.
This discovery made Han Shuo even more cautious in his approach. He further slowed his progress towards the Ice Shrine on the main peak. In his mind, he was quickly trying to figure out how to deal with the situation he was facing.
One by one, the disciples of the Ice Shrine entered and exited the frozen mountain. However, the huge boundary gave no warning signals or defensive reactions.
Han Shuo examined it carefully for a moment and found that among those disciples who had entered the main peak of the Ice Shrine were actually those who had not even been given divine energy by the Ice Goddess. However, their bodies were all ice-cold without exception. Much colder than the normal human body temperature.
.
With a single glance, Han Shuo found a solution. Hovering in the sky at a height that was difficult to see with the naked eye, Han Shuo slowly adjusted his body temperature. He even used the Mystic Glacial Spellfire to generate cold air within his body at a finely controlled intensity. In a heartbeat, Han Shuo's body temperature dropped to match that of the disciples of the Ice Shrine below.
On the Profound Continent, there were existences with greater strength than Han Shuo. However, Han Shuo was convinced that no one could surpass him in the ability to control the physical body. This confidence came from the perverted forging of his physical body by the demonic arts!
After properly adjusting his body temperature, Han Shuo surveyed the area for another while to be absolutely sure that he would not trigger the boundary surrounding the frozen mountain. Only then did he begin to look for an opportunity to enter this main peak.
After watching for a while, Han Shuo discovered that there was a steep cliff protruding halfway up the frozen mountain. There wasn't a single disciple of the Ice Shrine in the area. Having found a vulnerable spot, Han Shuo took advantage of a window of opportunity and silently descended to the cliff from a great height.
His mind focused on the entire frozen mountain. While meticulously concealing the presence on his body, he had long since discovered Ice Celestial Corey's exact location - in a conical building at the top of the mountain.
At this point, Ice Celestial Corey should still be in recovery. Han Shuo could sense that his aura was smooth and steady, without any fluctuation of emotions. There was not a single person stationed around the conical building. As long as Han Shuo could stealthily get to this building and make a sneak attack, Han Shuo was confident of success.
However, reaching that building from the precipice where Han Shuo was and not being spotted on the way would be an impossible feat.
This was because there were no trees or rocks on the entire frozen mountain, other than steep mountain roads, to provide concealment. In this place, where every inch of every surface was covered in ice and snow, the slightest movement could cause others to catch sight of you.
Moreover, from a magic tower at the top of the mountain, Han Shuo sensed a kind of magical wave undulation similar to that of the Heaven's Eye. This magic released by the magic tower seemed to be able to capture any movement on the mountain.
Han Shuo's eyebrows furrowed as he pondered for a moment, suddenly recalling the Metal Elite Zombie. After a moment's thought, he felt that this method was feasible.
Although a solid layer of ice covered the mountain, the core was still supported by hard rock. The thick layer of ice above was both naturally formed and deliberately thickened by the Ice Shrine. With the Elite Metal Zombie's abilities, Han Shuo could drill right through the rock and get to the bottom of the building where Corey was.
This is indeed possible! Han Shuo immediately spread his hands. His fingernails suddenly grew insanely long, forming the incredibly sharp Demonic Blades that shimmered with cold light. With his demonic skill, Han Shuo began to dig into the ice. After digging three metres into the ice, Han Shuo finally saw the basic support of the frozen mountain - rocks.
Han Shuo gave his command to the elite metal zombie. As soon as he understood the command, golden lights radiated from his palm. Metal Yuan energy poured into the rocks like flowing water. Afterwards, under Han Shuo's watchful gaze, the hard, solid rock split open to form a pathway.
As Han Shuo gazed at the resulting tunnel, he couldn't help but lament in his heart how useful the five elite zombies had been to him, even without considering their strengths.
With the help of the Metal Elite Zombie, Han Shuo was able to sense Corey's location from halfway up the mountain, and he was calmly heading towards the mountaintop where Ice Celestial Corey was.
The Metal Elite Zombie himself could move freely in and out of the rocks as if he were swimming in water. But now that he had to take Han Shuo with him, the metal elite zombie had no choice but to open a tunnel. Using some methods that Han Shuo could not understand, while Metal Elite Zombie's palms emitted brilliant golden rays, the hard rock was split, recombined and pounded to form a path that grew upwards.
With Metal Elite Zombie's palms glowing gold, the tunnel didn't seem the least bit dark. As he followed Metal Elite Zombie up the inclined path, he thought about the details of how to sneak up on Ice Celestial Corey.
Suddenly, the Metal Elite Zombie stopped. Unexpectedly, Han Shuo almost ran into the metal elite zombie.
They had only gone a few hundred metres. It was still a long way to the frozen mountaintop where Corey was. Why would Metal Elite Zombie suddenly stop?
Han Shuo was puzzled. Looking at Metal Elite Zombie's back, Han Shuo didn't hesitate to transmit, "Why did you stop?
"Father, look!" Metal Elite Zombie leaned to the side. The rocks around him retreated slightly, leaving enough space for Han Shuo and the metal elite zombie to stand shoulder to shoulder.
Han Shuo walked over to the empty spot that the metal elite zombie had specifically let out, and cast his gaze in the upward direction that the metal elite zombie was pointing at with his right hand. He was immediately stunned by what he saw.
In front of Han Shuo was a large chamber created by hollowing out the mountain rocks. Inside the emptied interior of the mountain was a magnificent, sixty metre high statue of the Ice Goddess.
This magnificent, gigantic statue of the Ice Goddess was made of ice, polished like perfect crystals. The carving was vivid and lifelike. She wore an expression as cold as ice, her left hand clutching a crystal staff, also carved from ice, as if she were fighting an evil demon. Her gaze was solemn and dignified, exuding a sacred sense of inviolability.
The ice goddess was dressed in an unusual striped robe. However, since the entire statue was carved from the same block of solid ice, Han Shuo could clearly see the inside of her body.
There were no internal organs inside the carving, but there was a mixture of ice water and some strange substances circulating inside. It glittered like a diamond as it slowly flowed through her body in a strange pattern.
However, in the lower abdomen of the Ice Goddess statue, where the uterus should have been, stood a completely naked, beautiful young lady with jade-like skin. Her eyes were serenely closed, and there was not an iota of life in them. She possessed a beauty that could give the saint of the Church of Light a run for her money - so perfect that it seemed impossible that she could exist in this world!
Han Shuo stood beneath the statue. As he raised his head to look at this majestic carving of the Ice Goddess, a feeling of insignificance rose from the depths of his heart. He was momentarily awestruck by this statue of the Ice Goddess in the centre of the mountain that had appeared out of nowhere.
The only certainty was that this statue had been carved from a single massive chunk of ice. There must have been a reason for the Ice Shrine to hollow out the inside of the mountain and place such a huge statue of the Ice Goddess inside. After Han Shuo came to his senses, he was shocked to the core, his eyes glittering.
The naked young lady in the lap of the Ice Goddess statue was ice-cold and without any sign of life. Han Shuo's consciousness could not detect any soul fluctuation either. No matter how, he could not understand why there was such a strange scene inside this mountain.
While Han Shuo was still puzzled and pondering, suddenly, rasping sounds came from the rock face above the statue. As Han Shuo watched intently, a huge platform slowly emerged from the wall. A few disciples of the Ice Shrine stood on the platform.
At the first rasping sound, Han Shuo instinctively stepped back and hastily sent a command to Metal Elite Zombie. Metal Elite Zombie made a sweeping motion with his hand. The opening in front of him shrank rapidly. By the time the rock platform above the statue had fully expanded, the passageway in front of Han Shuo and Metal Elite Zombie had shrunk to a small fissure Remaining.
