Even though Leah Cain was completely contemptuous, he immediately focused all of his attention on Han Shuo when he actually made his move. He raised the broadsword in his hand with a cold snort. A silver sword light suddenly spread out in front of him.
Leah Cain had risen to the rank of Great Swordsmaster many years ago. He had indulged himself in this realm for a long time, challenging and defeating many experts in the Brut Merchant Alliance and earning the title of Crazy Great Swordmaster at the same time. If he hadn't offended the Alliance's Lightning Sacred Magus Reynold Dila, he might never have had to flee to the Lancelot Empire.
The silver sword light instantly enveloped the area in front of him. Han Shuo could feel an enormous combat aura hidden within the light as he flew over to Leah Cain. He immediately infused the Demonslayer Edge with magical yuan. This indestructible weapon then erupted with black light and stabbed directly at the silver sword light.
The Demonslayer's Edge exploded forward with black light and a fierce killing intent. It abruptly bombarded Leah Cain's swordlight. The silver swordlight intertwined with the black light as several metallic bangs rang out. Points of light scattered out like stars before disappearing into the air.
"Nngnn." Leah Cain let out a light cry and quickly took a step back. He looked at Han Shuo in shock, "Not bad little guy, your weapon is quite strange. It's actually not a combat aura!"
The black light from the Demonslayer's Edge vanished with the silver combat light into thin air. However, when the silver combat light collided with the Demonslayer's Edge, a huge force flowed through the weapon into Han Shuo's arm, numbing his arm a little.
Han Shuo was in no hurry to make his next move. His face was cold as he stared at Leah Cain, his mind focused on the summit. After this exchange, he knew that Leah Cain was indeed much more powerful than the Great Swordsmaster he had killed last time. They were both Swordmasters, but Leah Cain had grown in rank over many years. His power was truly extraordinary.
"This Bryan really has some power!" Amyes looked at Candide in surprise and exclaimed softly on the platform opposite the garden house.
Candide's eyes shone brightly, his face full of interest as he replied while looking at Han Shuo, "This is also the first time I have seen him fight. Although he has no combat aura, he was able to unexpectedly break through the sword light that Leah Cain had gathered from his combat aura. It looks like his body is hiding many secrets!
The surrounding nobles exclaimed in disbelief when they saw Han Shuo shattering Leah Cain's sword light with one stroke. Among them, Lawrence and Phoebe were visibly happy.
"That boy really isn't bad. He saved us once last time at Eevee's house, so I guess we owe him a favour. I hope Leah Cain doesn't hurt him!" Old Mr Hahn laughed and said to Emily next to him as he looked at Han Shuo.
"It looks like this Bryan is going to win!" Emily replied with a smile. She knew in her heart that Han Shuo's strength wasn't that simple. Based on the fact that he could fly through the air, that alone was a huge advantage since it wasn't something Leah Cain could do.
"Haha, I hope so!" Old Hahn laughed heartily.
As everyone argued loudly, Leah Cain snorted coldly, "You do have some strength, but it's a pity you challenge me!"
After his words, Leah Cain raised his broadsword and stepped towards Han Shuo. His speed wasn't fast and each step was heavy. The two scars on his neck looked ferocious as they crossed, his pupils filled with a mad desire to fight.
Leah Cain's momentum increased with each step, the broadsword in his hand emitting a dazzling silver halo under the sunlight. The silver combat aura finally merged with the broadsword to form a brilliant rainbow that shot towards Han Shuo from a dozen metres away.
The speed of this silver rainbow was lightning fast. It whizzed right into Han Shuo's face as if it had jumped the distance of a dozen metres. This attack contained such a tremendous force that even several of the nearby watching nobles could clearly feel it.
Han Shuo just stood there as if stunned by the extremely fast attack of the silver rainbow. He did not seem to have reacted yet. Everyone stared dumbfounded as the silver rainbow sliced through his body. It looked like he didn't know how to dodge.
"Quick, run!" Many onlookers were worried about Han Shuo, they all shouted to warn him. Unfortunately, the speed of their voices couldn't match the attacking speed of that silver rainbow combat aura of Leah Cain's.
Immediately after the onlookers' warnings, a terrifying sound boomed from the ground where Han Shuo was standing. A fifteen metre long gully instantly appeared in that area. The deep gully was like someone had just cut a piece of tofu.
The silver combat aura surrounded the gully and didn't disperse. The enormous destructive power of this aura attacked the two walls of the deep gorge, causing loud rumbling sounds. When the terrifying noises ceased, the already huge gorge grew even larger. All the weeds within the effect radius of the combat aura had turned into green dust.
"What a terrifying attack. The poor challenger must be finished!"
"Aii, he was still too young. It's inevitable that he would be vulnerable to an attack from an expert who has been famous for a long time!"
"Let's go. That young man must've died and fallen into that crevice. The fun is over!"
"Hmm, such a handsome man really did die to that ugly monster. That damned foreigner!"
All sorts of pessimistic comments about Han Shuo resounded from the audience. They had watched dumbly as Han Shuo hadn't made a move to dodge Leah Cain's sword attack. Everyone was sure that Han Shuo was dead and lost his life in that gully.
Suddenly, a loud cry rang out, "Oh my God, look at the sky!"
Everyone threw their heads back to look at the sky and saw Han Shuo standing tall in the sky with the Demonslayer's Edge in his hand. He looked down at Leah Cain from a distance. He wasn't injured at all.
"How can that be?!" Even Leah Cain couldn't help but cry out in shock. He looked up, unable to believe his eyes.
If a swordsman wanted to float in the air, he had to reach the rank of a legendary divine Swordsmaster to be able to fly using the combat aura. While mages could fly by using the levitation skill once they reached the rank of archmage, the casting speed of the levitation skill wasn't as fast and smooth as Han Shuo's skills.
Even though Han Shuo was a Necromancy Archmage, he wouldn't have been able to dodge that fast attack with that slow levitation skill. Therefore, even Leah Cain was shocked beyond belief when he saw Han Shuo standing safe and sound in the sky.
"Amyes, can you sense any magical elements on his body? Why can't I sense any at all?" On the high platform, Candide exclaimed in surprise as he looked directly at Han Shuo standing proudly in the sky.
Even a normally relaxed and calm person like Amyes was startled. He shook his head and said, "Strange, too strange. He doesn't use any magic or combat aura, but he can actually stand in the sky like that. What is that?"
"It seems to have something to do with his unique cultivation art. Amyes, the art he practices is very miraculous. If the army of the Lancelot Empire can also fly so fast, then the power of our army would be multiplied!" Candide exclaimed excitedly at the thought.
"Pay attention. We must stop Leah Cain when he deals a fatal blow, even if it is against the rules. This Bryan is truly magical. He is too useful to our Lancelot Empire, we must not let him die!" Amyes said firmly, determined to put everything aside to ensure Han Shuo's safety.
"Then let us do this. After that, I think His Majesty will also know what to do now!" Candide immediately agreed. His dark eyes focused on Leah Cain. The dark elements on his body suddenly became dense as he prepared to make a move at any time, regardless of his identity.
A person was watching Han Shuo on a lush, towering old tree. He was the one Han Shuo and Lawrence had met in the Rose Garden, the super rank assassin Bollands. He was crouching in the foliage, his eyes wide open as he watched Han Shuo and muttered, "Truly amazing. He can actually use a skill directly to stand proudly in the sky. It seems that this Bryan is hiding other secrets besides his extraordinary skill with killer aura. Master was right to send me here this time!"
"Little guy, don't think you're formidable just because you're an archmage who can fly in the sky. Come down if you're so good!" Leah Cain shouted angrily down below as he looked up at Han Shuo in the sky.
Even though he was a Great Swordsmaster, he could not fly in the air. He had no choice but to stare dumbly and helplessly as he looked up at Han Shuo in the sky.
"As you wish!" Han Shuo let out a long laugh into the sky before plummeting down like a meteor. The Demonslayer Edge emitted a purple-red spellfire that was two metres long. A thick murderous aura spread out in all directions with Han Shuo as the epicentre. The surrounding onlookers all felt a wave of palpitations and involuntarily stepped back a little, shocked as they looked up at him shooting down from the sky.
