When the old priest saw that the little skeleton had stepped out of the carriage, he heaved a sigh of relief and shouted excitedly, "Datara, Datara!
Under the old priest's excited cries, the forest trolls, who had become somewhat cowardly, regained their fighting spirit and followed the little skeleton, charging once more towards the Dark Archmage.
The little skeleton, wielding a bone dagger, had an eye patch on its smooth and shiny skull plate as it dashed nimbly towards the fey female archmage.
"Oh, heh heh. It's just a funny skeleton warrior!" The archmage had thought she was about to receive some strong reinforcements when she saw the forest trolls regain their courage. When she saw that what was charging towards her was only a low level dark creature, the skeleton warrior, she immediately began to chuckle in derision.
When the little skeleton arrived in front of her, she spoke to a journeyman swordsman next to her, "Kill that ridiculous skeleton warrior!"
"Understood, Lady Emily!" The swordsman replied respectfully in a low voice and strode towards the little skeleton with his broadsword in his hand and a cold grin on his face.
It was a pity that the small skeleton, which had been approaching at normal speed, suddenly jumped off both of its calf bones and embraced the ground in a magical flight. The increase in speed was more than tenfold as the small bone dagger in his hand suddenly pointed directly at the journeyman swordsman who was trying to block his path.
The small bone dagger drew a round arc after leaving his hand and had already made its way to the journeyman's neck in the midst of his shock and surprise. Scared to death, the journeyman's body came to an abrupt halt and he drew his sword in a desperate attempt to defend himself from the bone dagger's attack.
A faint clang sounded as the bone dagger struck the broadsword in the journeyman's hand, causing his frozen body to take an involuntary step backwards. Though surprised that he'd had to take a step back in defence against the bone dagger, the journeyman breathed a sigh of relief, feeling that he'd already gotten past the danger.
However, there was a sudden change of fortune that he would never understand, even in the moment of his death. The bone dagger that had fallen to the ground shot back into his chest just as he was about to charge forward. It turned his knowledge of the world upside down as it opened a bloody hole in his chest and caused him to lose his life where he stood.
The fast-moving little skeleton didn't pause for a moment as the withered bones of his left hand stretched out, and the small bone dagger that had just pierced the journeyman swordsman returned miraculously to his hand. The remaining empty eye socket in the little skeleton's head fixed its gaze once more on the astonished Dark Magus Emily.
"Oh my god, that little skeleton killed a journeyman swordsman." Although Trunks was busy fending off enemies in the distance, he was still paying attention to the little skeleton's movements. When he realised that the little skeleton had killed one of the swordsmen, he immediately let out an involuntary cry of shock.
"Stop him, stop him!" Emily had also witnessed the little skeleton's miraculous performance. The sneering smile that had been at the corners of her mouth had long since vanished as her heart was in desperate disarray.
She quickly recited several of her journeyman and adept dark magic spells, which landed directly on the skeleton's body. However, the little skeleton was made entirely of bones and had been repeatedly refined by Han Shuo's magical yuan, and it showed no reaction whatsoever. He stood there, looking at Emily in confusion, as if wondering why Emily's attacks were so weak.
"The great Datara has shown his courage and power, what are you standing there mute?" Hidden in the distance, Han Shuo suddenly shouted coldly at that moment, once again ordering the small skeleton to attack Archmage Emily.
Suddenly, the old priest and the forest troll warchief were screaming. When the forest troll warriors who were following the little skeleton saw that the previously fearsome Emily couldn't hurt the little skeleton, they shouted "Datara" in excitement and rushed forward again, unafraid of death.
The forest troll hunters in the distance unleashed a dense wave of javelins and long spears as the lines of attack shot towards the McGrady Guild guards. Add to this the arrows of the archers and the magical attacks of several priests, and many of the guards were riddled with bloody holes after the wave of javelins and spears had passed. Bloody foam bubbled from their mouths as they lay motionless on the ground.
"Stop that damned skeleton warrior!" Emily saw the little skeleton giving chase and became a little frantic. When several dark magics had no effect on the little skeleton, Emily finally realised that this bizarre little skeleton had an extremely high defence against dark magics.
Gathering the folds of her magical robe in one hand, Emily fled backwards, screaming. Her well-rounded buttocks swayed constantly as she ran out of time to cast destructive and distressing dark magic.
Emily's retreat greatly reduced the pressure on the forest troll warriors. In addition, the presence of the little skeleton boosted their morale to such an extent that these loyal followers ignored their injuries and casualties and charged at the McGrady Guild guards like tidal waves.
At that moment, the forest troll warriors who had been unable to approach the McGrady Guild's train finally crashed into the guards after paying the price of several dozen forest troll warriors.
The low roar of the earth dragons, the stomping of the lizard beasts, the desperate cries of the merchants, and the sounds of battle between the forest troll warriors and the guards filled the air. The advantage in numbers quickly became apparent. Though their personal strength was no match for the forest trolls, they were far more disciplined than the randomly scattered guards. They were not the least bit disorganised after the rush, and each one was more fearless of death than the other.
In the span of a moment, the forest troll contingent, made up of young warriors who outnumbered the McGrady guards by more than five to one, had already taken the high ground. Han Shuo remained in the rear, commanding the small skeleton to pursue Archmage Emily and directing the forest troll hunters to attack as well.
The rows of spears and javelins then landed on the earth dragons and lizard beasts, killing all the merchants. When the two main pack animals were injured, they began to run wild in their madness. Their huge hooves trampled down many of the guards.
Eventually, the merchants of the McGrady Guild saw that they would not be able to win, and in their cowardice they decided to make a run for it. With a few personal guards protecting them, these merchants shouted and shouted that they were giving up the goods and splintered off in different directions to break through.
The situation was already under control and Han Shuo made no further attempt to hide his movements. He stepped out from the midst of the forest troll warriors and took aim at the earth mage, Leon, who had personally attacked him.
The dark archmage, Emily, was terrified by the little skeleton's pursuit. She'd tried to fly through the air but had become the target of many on Han Shuo's orders as she immediately took the brunt of several dozen javelin and long spear attacks.
Even though she had raised a dark magic shield in the nick of time, she didn't have an easy time of it as a walking human target. The magic shield blocked this round of attacks, but it also severely drained her mental strength, even causing her to spit out a mouthful of blood.
With the warning from the previous experience, Emily didn't dare to fly through the air again in such a short distance. All she could do was hide among the McGrady Guild guards, screaming for help, begging for someone to defend her from the little skeleton, but it was a pity that the scene was a chaotic mess at the moment. In circumstances where one's own personal safety was difficult to guarantee, no one else would pay attention to another's survival. This caused her to flee haphazardly, in great panic.
"Eh, how did you know it was me?" Han Shuo looked at Trunks questioningly after he had revealed himself and asked.
"I didn't fully recognise you, but it was possible!" Trunks smiled and shrugged, pointing to the manticore beneath him.
Nodding, Han Shuo said, "So that was the case!"
"It's you guys! What do you want?" Leon immediately recognised the memorable Han Shuo when he revealed himself, and he asked shyly.
"Your life of course! An eye for an eye. Shouldn't you pay for the injuries you caused me?" Han Shuo looked at Leon coldly and, after saying this noncommittally, rushed towards him.
"Han, leave this human to me. You haven't fully recovered from your injuries yet, best not to make a move so easily." Seeing that Han Shuo was about to make a move, Trunks suddenly spoke up to stop him, then spurred the manticore towards Leon before Han Shuo could react.
The Earth Adept Mage, Leon, immediately chanted an incantation when he saw that Trunks was riding the manticore towards him. The ground in front of Trunks suddenly shook and a wall of earth quickly formed, creating an obstacle in the direction from which Trunks was charging.
After releasing the wall of earth magic, Leon understood that Trunks wanted his life and that a Han Shuo of unknown strength was hovering around the edges. He didn't dare to linger and fled without a second thought as soon as the wall appeared.
"Don't worry, I'll kill him!" Trunks smiled at Han Shuo from the back of the manticore and charged the wall together with these words. Under the Manticore's thrust and the force of the long sword in his hand, the wall of earth that had just formed suddenly collapsed. Leaping over the wall, Trunks leisurely chased after the fleeing Leon, who seemed quite at ease.
The original demons were scattered in three directions, and Han Shuo's observations gave him a complete picture of the situation. He discovered that the forest trolls had the situation well in hand with their strength in numbers, and the cowardly merchants had taken the lead in fleeing. The guild guards retreated under their assault. None of them would risk their lives to protect the goods, and they did everything in their power to break through to the outside.
The small skeleton pursued the dark archmage relentlessly at Han Shuo's command. A group of forest trolls followed closely behind the great Datara, taking care of the female archmage along with the little skeleton. The female dark magus couldn't use her dark magus due to the constant harassment of the little skeleton, and the forest was blocked on all sides. Finally, they trapped the Archmage Emily, catching her in a large net woven from branches.
"I have what you need, you can't kill me, you can't!" Emily cried out suddenly as javelins and spears were aimed at the Archmage and about to descend.
A thought struck Han Shuo as he immediately gave the small skeleton an order. When the little skeleton received the order, he waved his empty left hand, gesturing for the forest trolls beside him to stop. The little skeleton walked towards Emily, bone dagger in hand, her terrified gaze fixed on him. The little skeleton tore the shirt off the corpse of one of the guards beside him and shoved the rag into Emily's mouth, at the same time using ropes to bind her arms and legs.
Once the Dark Archmage's bright red lips were sealed, she kept making noises from her throat, but no one paid any attention to her. The little skeleton wielded the bone dagger and took the responsibility of watching over her. Han Shuo used his observations of the original demons to constantly give orders to the forest trolls, pointing out where the humans were fleeing to maximise their kill.
After half an hour, the scattered sounds of battle from all sides had ceased, and as Trunks approached from a distance on the back of his manticore, the forest trolls also attempted to kill, but held their hands at Han Shuo's command.
As Trunks spurred the manticore to Han Shuo's side, he saw the forest trolls on the side look at Han Shuo with respectful and humble expressions. It seemed to understand something at that moment.
"I will explain it to you in detail later. Trunks, you must believe me." Han Shuo also noticed the strange look in Trunks eyes and opened his mouth to apologise.
Trunks smiled and nodded, "I have time to listen to your explanations."
Looking at Trunks with gratitude, Han Shuo walked over to the Dark Archmage and roughly ripped the cloth from her mouth. He lowered his body and stared at Emily, saying coldly and cruelly, "Give me a reason not to kill you!"
