Phoebe's and Candice's beautiful eyes were already sparkling as Han Shuo's command to retreat sounded, seemingly already considering how to retreat.

Phoebe and Candice were already close to Han Shuo and were also the closest to the opened hole. When Han Shuo's body moved, the two beauties didn't hesitate and flew over as well, escaping through the hole in the blink of an eye.

With a sudden increase in speed, Han Shuo, Phoebe and Candice rushed towards the yard in front of them. Han Shuo suddenly pulled out a crossbow when he reached the front of the door and fired a crossbow bolt without aiming. A loud din of curses and screams suddenly came from inside. Duke and Erick, as well as some of the other people in the courtyard, unleashed their combat aura and magic without a second's warning, attacking the black-robed Archmage.

"Damn, why is there another archmage here? Grover didn't tell us!" A shrill exclamation came from the black-robed archmage as he raised an earthen wall in front of him and retreated hastily.
The swordsman on Grover's side and an archer from Shadow Ghost didn't react in time and were swept up by the tornado. Endless rounds of hideous screams rang out as the two were torn apart in a mass of blood and flesh. They were transformed into a fog of blood and all signs of life ceased.
"After them!" Duke snorted coldly as he and Erick and a few others dashed out of the ruins of the courtyard, chasing after the other members of Shadow Ghost who had already begun to flee in the distance. On the way, magics crashed into each other as endless Pilipala explosions were emitted.
"Eh, where did these people come from? They're so strong!" Candice muttered with a shocked face after they'd gone.
"This courtyard is in ruins and there's no one inside. We don't have to stay here anymore." Phoebe jumped out hastily and stayed far away from the stone box that had been used to store rubbish.
Candice and Han Shuo came out from inside as Han Shuo laughed lightly, "By this time, the city guards should have finished changing shifts. I wonder if these two groups of people will alert the guard."
"They are indeed sinister. What shall we do next?" At this moment, Candice had started to treat Han Shuo as the leader at some unknown time. Han Shuo had heard from Phoebe the last time that Grover's mistress was called Cara, so he'd informed Phoebe and Candice.
