Babylonian Academy of Magic and Strength, Necromancy Major.
After the trials of the Dark Forest, the Necromancy Major had received rich rewards. The students' abilities had also increased. When Fanny spoke to the school authorities and showed them the magical creature cores that the Necromancy Major had obtained, she immediately received high compliments from the headmistress, Emma.
Emma was a woman of about seventy years of age and was a major in Space Magic. She had long since risen to the realm of Grand Magus and had once performed great deeds for the Empire. Her reputation within the Empire was quite illustrious, and she was held in high esteem by the King.
In the necromancy training grounds, Emma wore a loose black magic robe and looked benevolently at the necromancy students and teachers. She smiled faintly and said, "The Necromancy Major has had a very successful outing in the Dark Forest this time. It's said that you helped the Empire greatly by destroying so many of the Orc wolf riders. Master Fanny, I hope you will take necromancy to a new level and restore necromancy to its former glory. I've agreed to all your requests, and the children must also work hard.
"Thank you for your kind attention, Headmistress Emma. I think the students of our necromancy course should have understood the importance of strength after this trip. I think they'll be even more diligent and hardworking when studying magic in the future, and will become competent magicians for the Empire, able to contribute to the Empire sooner." Fanny's face was serious as she solemnly promised Emma.
"Oh yes, Master Fanny, why isn't that boy you've been complimenting here? I'd love to meet this magical creature!" Emma looked at Fanny with a smile as she asked gently.
"Bryan is travelling on some business, I think the Headmaster will have a chance to meet him in the near future. He is a mage of great potential. I can guarantee that it won't be long before Bryan becomes a very strong mage of the necromancy major."
Emma nodded her head in satisfaction and smiled, "I look forward to his growth and hope that you will all restore the Necromancy Major to its former glory."
After she'd said these words, Emma's body twisted like a reflection in water, giving others an extremely unreal feeling. There was a flash of white light and Emma vanished without a trace.
"As the Archmage of Space Magic, Principal Emma has already grasped the true meaning of Space Magic and can directly transfer her body over short distances. Don't be shocked, everyone!" Gene hastened to explain after seeing the students gasp in amazement at Emma's sudden disappearance.
"Amazing magic indeed!" Han Shuo's voice came from outside the training grounds as he strode in shortly after his voice was heard.
.
"Uh, it's Bryan. The headmaster just wanted to see you... why didn't you come back earlier?" Lisa called out immediately after seeing Han Shuo appear.
"There will be plenty of opportunities later. I've already disposed of the resources of the Orc Wolf Riders. I've sold them for a total of four thousand gold. I took one thousand, you can split the rest. Who has a crystal card?" Han Shuo didn't waste time with idle chatter after arriving and immediately opened his mouth to ask.
"Four thousand gold, oh my goodness. These resources fetched such a high price! If I'd known they were so valuable, I wouldn't have gone after the orcs that ran away!" Bach exclaimed in amazement, as he cursed himself with a face full of regret.
Even Fanny and Gene showed signs of shock, let alone Bach. They hadn't expected this batch of resources to be so valuable. Smiles crept across the faces of all the students when they heard there were gold coins to be had, and they all showed expressions of joy.
"I have a crystal card. Here, take it." After a moment of surprise, Fanny handed her crystal card directly to Han Shuo.
Crystal cards could perform transactions through the mental mark on the cards, in addition to the slot on the card. It was extremely convenient. When Han Shuo received Fanny's card, he realised that Fanny had already approved the transaction and transferred the three thousand gold coins from his card to Fanny's card.
When Han Shuo returned Fanny's crystal card to her, Fanny gave Han Shuo a card as well. "This is your new student card. From this day on, you're no longer a slave or an errand boy, but a magical apprentice in the Necromancy major of the Babylon Academy of Magic and Strength. You will be able to borrow books from the library, practice necromancy in the training areas, and officially attend classes in the necromancy major.
The tuition for this year is fifty gold coins, but I've already paid it for you, and you can now officially use all the resources of the Necromancy Major. I've also arranged your new quarters. Bryan, I hope you can cherish this opportunity and make full use of your potential to cultivate and improve your necromancy magic!"
Han Shuo felt a deep sense of happiness after accepting the student ID from Fanny's hands. He said to Fanny, "Thank you Master Fanny, I will try very hard in the future. I'd like to borrow some books from the library and take my leave. Please give them the rest of the gold coins.
After leaving the drill ground, Han Shuo took the student ID card and went to the library. Little Fatty Jack was currently organising the books in the library and immediately shouted with joy when he saw Han Shuo appear. "Oh my goodness, Bryan, you're finally back. I almost don't recognise you anymore. You're taller and stronger than when you left, and even seem to have become more handsome."
."
"Heh heh, hello Jack. Did Borg and the others bully you while I was away?" Han Shuo was also quite happy to see little fat Jack. He pulled Jack into a corner and began to question him.
"No, maybe because you taught them a lesson last time, they're much better behaved now." Jack chuckled, stopped and looked around. He lowered his voice and asked, "Bryan, did you really give Lisa three gold coins to give to me?"
Nodding, Han Shuo said with a smile, "Of course, I'm a student of Necromancy Major as of today. You didn't believe me when I said I wanted to learn magic before. Heh heh, this is my student card, do you believe me now?"
"Oh my god, how did you do that? This is too incredible!" Jack held Han Shuo's student ID and looked at it, letting out another gasp of amazement.
"All right, I'll give you another fifty gold coins. Don't stay here any longer as an errand boy, but you must be absolutely careful and don't let anyone know that you have so many gold coins with you. Otherwise, you'll be in big trouble. These gold coins will help you live an easy life. If you get into trouble in the future, you can find me at the Necromancy Major. I'll take care of things for you." Han Shuo took another fifty gold coins from his space ring and put them into Jack's pockets, speaking in a low voice.
"Fifty gold coins, fifty gold coins..." Jack sank into a momentary stupor as he heard the gold coins clink in his pocket. He stood there stunned, muttering to himself, seeming to have forgotten even Han Shuo's existence.
Fifty gold coins was such a huge amount for Jack that he had never thought about it before. Han Shuo could understand his reaction perfectly.
He didn't bother to reply and left Jack with a slight smile. He came alone to the section where the necromancy books were kept and selected "Beginner Necromancy Magic", checked it in at the door and left.
After leaving the library, Han Shuo returned to the camp and left after storing the other two books in his space ring. Han Shuo planned to use the transport matrix within the space ring and go directly to the Cemetery for training. Whether it was the warehouse or the new dormitory Fanny had arranged for him, someone would have to know about both of them, so it would definitely not be safe to set up the transport matrix there.
After furrowing his brow and thinking for a bit, Han Shuo went straight to the mountains behind the Babylon Academy of Magic and strength and walked to the graveyard there. Not only was it quiet there, but people and animals didn't come and go. Some of the tombs were even more secluded, and he wouldn't have to worry at all if he set up the transport matrix there.
Arriving at the random tombs on the mountains in the back land of the Academy, Han Shuo searched for the most isolated tomb and even moved a large piece of rock to the entrance of the tomb, sealing off the entrance to the tomb.
Having completed these tasks, Han Shuo took a candle from his space ring and lit it. He discovered that apart from being a little damp, the tomb was still relatively clean. The various piles of broken bones on the floor were not at all sinister to Han Shuo, who was training in necromancy magic, but rather he found them familiar and warm.
Tidying up the inside a little, Han Shuo thought carefully and finally summoned the little skeleton. Using the dagger inside the tomb, he cleared a new, small area inside the tomb. This new area was in the blind spot of the tomb and Han Shuo could only enter it by turning to the side. Although the room inside was slightly larger, it could only hold Han Shuo alone, similar to the closet of an ordinary room.
Observing everything carefully, Han Shuo finally took out the six magic sticks when he was satisfied that this area was safe enough. He arranged them according to the diagram of the six-pointed star, stood in the middle of the diagram and activated the matrix with his mental power when all was ready.
White light flashed by and Han Shuo opened his eyes to discover that he had already appeared within the Dark Forest, within the great magical matrix in the centre of the great hall within the Mysterious Cemetery of Death.
"The Mysterious Cemetery of Death is a land that belongs to me alone in the future!" Han Shuo looked around and murmured in satisfaction.
