"Isn't that the Necromancy Major's errand boy?" Claude asked with a frown as he made his way to stand next to Han Shuo.
"Necromancy's errand boy Bryan... who would have thought we'd run into each other here?" Han Shuo nodded, swallowed another mouthful of Purple Leylan and smiled.
"There don't seem to be any seats left. Claude, why don't we move to another place for dinner?" Irene glanced at Han Shuo with a trace of contempt in her eyes.
"No need, most of the hotels in Drol must be full of people right now. There's only Bryan at this table. Since we're all from the academy, I'm sure Bryan wouldn't mind if we sat down with him, wouldn't you, Bryan?" Claude said to Irene with a smile and then stared happily at Han Shuo.
"Of course I don't mind! If you don't feel that sitting with an errand boy like me diminishes your dignity, I will gladly share a table with the two of you." Claude had hurt his little skeleton in the past to appease Irene. Perhaps Claude had long forgotten about this, but Han Shuo had silently remembered it. Now that his strength had increased, Han Shuo had become more and more reluctant to act. He had been worried that he had lost his chance to take revenge on Claude, but who knew that Claude would come knocking on Han Shuo's door. Han Shuo was of course loath to let this opportunity pass him by.
"I hate everyone from the Necromancy Major, even the messenger slaves are without exception!" Irene furrowed her brow, glanced at Claude and spoke coldly.
Claude started, then gave Irene a meaningful look. He smiled and said to Han Shuo, "Bryan, aren't you with the rest of the Necromancy Major? How come we see no sign of them and you're here alone? Oh, come to think of it, you, an errand boy, would be able to enjoy such a rich feast of food and wine. How surprising!"
Irene also looked at Han Shuo with surprise when she heard Claude's words. She seemed to be particularly interested in Claude's questions and was in no hurry to leave at this point. When Claude saw that Irene had a look on her face that indicated her interest, he eagerly wiped the dust off the seat in front of her. She finally sat down after he motioned for her to do so.
Han Shuo tore apart the grilled meat in his hand and sent it completely into his stomach as if nothing had happened. After another mouthful of wine, he belched contentedly, rubbed his stomach and said with a smile, "Master Fanny and the others should be back soon. They were afraid I would be a burden, so they gave me a few gold coins to wait here for them. Are there any problems?"
"No, no. So that's the situation. Well... Bryan, how was your haul this time? Any high-level magical creatures?" Claude winked at Irene and asked Han Shuo with a smile.
Irene showed an expression of interest and also stared intently at Han Shuo, seeming to suddenly care quite a bit about the Necromancy Major's haul.
Shaking his head, Han Shuo said, "I don't know, I came back halfway. I don't know if they made a big profit, but I think their haul won't be too small this time."
"Huh. Those people? What kind of booty could they get? At most, they could hunt down some level five magical creatures, and probably have a hard time killing even a level four." Irene looked contemptuously at Han Shuo and snorted coldly.
Han Shuo just glanced at Irene in the face of her sneers and didn't say much. At that moment, Claude had already called the waiter and also used a gold coin to order some wine and meat.
Han Shuo took stock of the situation and wondered how he could get his revenge on Claude. After thinking for a while, an involuntary trace of a wicked smile appeared on his lips. Calmly and subtly, he picked up what looked like a banana peel from the plate in front of him and tossed it under his foot. As a fast-moving waiter with a plate appeared, Han Shuo kicked out with the toes of his right foot, abruptly sending the fruit peel flying out from under the table.
The waiter was walking at a fast pace with the plate in his hand when he stepped on the fruit bowl, stumbled with an exclamation of surprise and fell forward. The plate in his hand flew out and crashed into Claude and Irene from behind.
Claude and Irene reacted to the commotion and turned suddenly. Claude's right hand suddenly raised and deftly caught the plate that was hurtling towards them. At the same time, Han Shuo's left hand flashed out like lightning and with a flick of his little finger, the grey-white psychedelic aphrodisiac landed quietly in Claude's wine glass.
"Be careful when you walk." Claude's brow furrowed as his right hand passed the plate he'd caught to the waiter, who had risen again. His voice was displeased.
"Thank you, noble knight. I will be more careful in the future!" The waiter anxiously took the plate from Claude and quickly left after bowing.
Han Shuo was calm and collected. His head was lowered as he raised his glass and drank wine as if nothing had happened, as if he hadn't noticed what had just happened.
Claude and Irene didn't say much to Han Shuo afterwards. Claude talked adoringly to Irene, putting away glass after glass of Purple Leylan mixed with psychedelic aphrodisiac. Irene's expression was cool, and she responded to Claude every now and then. It looked as if she had not yet accepted Claude's love.
"Take your time. I have some things to take care of and will leave now!" Han Shuo knew with certainty that the psychedelic aphrodisiac powder had been absorbed by Claude when he'd finished several glasses of Purple Leylan. He immediately stood up and dropped the sentence.
Claude and Irene had originally sneered at Han Shuo. They hadn't paid any attention to him at all and wished Han Shuo would leave rather than be an irritating sight in front of them. They waved their hands in unison after Han Shuo's words, indicating that Han Shuo should have left earlier if possible. After a while, they could no longer hide the contempt on their faces.
With a smile on his face, Han Shuo left the hotel and stood alone on an inconspicuous street corner next to the hotel. After a while, a hot-flushed Claude and a slightly rosy-cheeked Irene walked out side by side, heading towards the northern side of Drol.
The sky was dark now and the festivities of the town of Drol had reached their peak for the day. Adventurers formed groups of three or five and staggered drunkenly and loudly through the streets. Han Shuo followed them silently and stood at the side of the road, waiting for a good show when he saw them enter a luxurious hotel.
According to Han Shuo's observations just now, it seemed that Claude had not yet moved Irene's heart. If Claude, under the influence of the psychedelic aphrodisiac, did anything that crossed the line at this moment, he was sure to be severely beaten by Irene.
Fruit in hand, Han Shuo ate leisurely and thought wickedly. After a while, there were no more disturbances from the hotel. Just as Han Shuo was about to lose his patience, the hot-flushed Clark suddenly left the hotel and ran out into the street.
Han Shuo's thoughts shifted. He hadn't thought that Claude's willpower would be so strong that he hadn't completely lost all rational thought by now, but judging by Claude's appearance, Han Shuo knew that he wouldn't be able to hold out much longer and he quickly caught up with Claude, following him from a distance.
In fact, he'd only made it about ten metres when Claude slightly lost control after a wave from a heavily made up, scantily clad older woman. He was panting heavily as he made his way into the alley, looking as if he was going to resolve his biological needs at close quarters.
"Eh? Wasn't that Claude?" An exclamation came from the adjacent street. Han Shuo turned his head in sudden joy and exclaimed inwardly, "Even the heavens are helping me!
The light major teacher, Beacher, and a few light major students happened to be passing by. One of the female students with particularly sharp eyes happened to see Claude and the shy, revealing woman dart into the alley and exclaimed in astonishment.
"No way, how could Claude be such a person? He's a noble knight and wouldn't debase himself in places like this. Not to mention that Claude is chasing Irene right now, so there's no way he'd do something like that." Beacher frowned and said in unconvinced confusion.
"It really was him, I'm sure I didn't see it wrong. If you don't believe me, let's go inside and have a look." The student who had spoken first thought for a moment and then said firmly.
"Come on, Katie. It's none of your business here. Don't stick your nose where it doesn't belong. Beacher was silent for a moment, then hurried the students to leave quickly.
Katie looked angrily down the lane and, after a moment's thought, stomped her foot. "How can this be allowed?! I'm going to tell Irene. If Claude isn't in his room, he must be. I will not allow Claude to betray Irene's feelings."
As soon as she'd finished talking, Katie left in a hurry and made a beeline for the hotel where Irene was staying. The other Light Major students looked at each other questioningly as she left, not knowing what to do.
Han Shuo almost couldn't contain his raucous laughter. Who would have thought that things would turn out like this? Han Shuo had planned to do something himself and come up with a plan to lure Irene here. Who would have thought that Claude would be so unlucky? Looks like it would be hard for him to avoid bad luck today even if he tried.
After a while, an Irene with a frosty expression on her face and an annoyed Katie approached from a distance. One look at Irene's expression was enough to know that she was incredibly angry. Claude would have a hard time getting out of this one.
"Claude was not at the hotel. Looks like I wasn't mistaken! That must have been him just now. Irene, I think if we go in now we'll catch him in the act. How could he, a noble knight, commit such despicable acts? Claude is too disgusting." Katie looked angrily into the alley after she'd arrived.
Irene nodded with an icy face, wasted no more time talking and grabbed Katie in a rush to the alley. Beacher and the others, fearing a messy situation, followed after a moment's hesitation.
When they were all inside, Han Shuo slowly made his way into the alley with an evil smile on his face.
