"All right, we will leave in two days. Use the next few days to prepare. As for your errands, I'll ask the school authorities to temporarily hand them over to the other three, so don't worry about it." Fanny smiled charmingly as she saw Han Shuo agree. Her beautiful face was even more enticing and moving because of her smile, causing Han Shuo's heart to lurch slightly.
Before he'd arrived in Bryan's body, Han Shuo's life could be classified as a failure. Not only had he achieved nothing professionally, but his love life was also in shambles. To this day, he still didn't know how to be with a woman.
After coming into this world, Han Shuo's self-control had decreased and his various desires had increased due to the practice of magic. Han Shuo was someone who had already died once. The depressing and pointless quagmire of his past life had completely bound his past self. Add to that the weight of his family and his shy personality, and he had never dared to act on his evil thoughts.
And now, in this completely alien world, with his growing strength from practising magic, many of his former limitations had disappeared. Of course, he wanted to live without regrets and to fully realise all the daydreams that had always been buried in his inner heart.
And women, especially beautiful women, had been an uncontrollable urge in Han Shuo's heart.
Not only was Fanny beautiful and enchanting, but she also paid special attention to Han Shuo's well-being, and he was at the age when he most desired the fairer sex. He would, of course, have unavoidable desires. Since the principles of demonic magic demanded that a practitioner do as he wished, Han Shuo naturally saw Fanny as the prey of his affections.
"Master Fanny, are the dark creatures we summon always different? Is it possible to summon the same creature after sending it back to the other dimension?"
Since Han Shuo had promised Fanny to accompany them on their outing, he began to make preparations for his own affairs. Han Shuo had no advantages other than his summoned little skeleton to rely on.
Although he could still contact the skeleton within a certain range, it would probably be difficult to maintain contact with his current level of mental strength once he set out, and they were separated by a great distance. If the little skeleton got into trouble because Han Shuo wasn't there to control it with his mental strength, then things would get sticky.
Although Han Shuo was confident that he would be able to send the little skeleton back to the other dimension, he didn't know if he would be able to summon it again. That was why he wanted to solve that problem before he left. As the teacher of the necromancy major, Fanny would naturally know more about such things. Just because Han Shuo couldn't solve his problem didn't mean that Fanny couldn't, hence his questions
Fanny looked at Han Shuo in confusion as soon as his question was asked. Her sexy, full lips moved as she asked, "Uh, Bryan, why are you asking these questions? These are things that necromancy students should pay attention to. You shouldn't be worrying about these things!"
"Oh, that's Lisa's question. I only asked you because of her." Han Shuo nodded and spoke with a good Samaritan expression.
Fanny didn't suspect a thing after Han Shuo's answer. She understood that Lisa often practised necromancy magic on Han Shuo, so it made sense for Lisa to ask a question through Han Shuo. She thought for a while and then said, "So that's the case... It's not that you can't summon the same creature after sending it into the other dimension, it's just that there's no need to do so.
Each time a Dark Creature is summoned from the other dimension, it, or a group of them, are simply chosen at random from a crowd of Dark Creatures of a similar level, according to the mental power that powers the incantation and the chant itself. Because they are the same level of dark creature, their strength is roughly the same, and so no one cares about these things".
"Then what should be done to summon the same dark creature again after it is sent back to the other dimension?" Han Shou thought quickly and asked a follow-up question.
Fanny carefully placed the magic scrolls on the pedestal and ran her beautiful long fingers over the top of the pedestal. She frowned as she explained, "If you really want to resummon a dark creature that has been sent back to the other dimension, then leave a magical mark on its body. The next time you summon it, use the magic mark to bind it to the original dark creature. That way, you can find the original creature and summon it back from the other dimension."
Han Shuo's heart was immediately overjoyed upon hearing Fanny's words, but his brow furrowed as he muttered to himself. "So that's the case, I wonder if Lisa knows how to leave a magic mark on a summoned dark creature."
After looking at Han Shuo strangely, Fanny smiled and said softly. "Bryan, you really are a very kind person. I know that Lisa was not the kindest to you, and the problems with your body were the result of her soul torment. But not only do you not hold a grudge, you think of her all the time. There are few who are as pure and good-hearted as you are these days.
Pure! Kind-hearted! Han Shuo was speechless inside, but kept an honest smile on his face. He scratched his head and said with some embarrassment, "I don't think you should hold a grudge, no matter what the reason. People will understand if you treat them kindly. Heh heh."
Fanny laughed softly and nodded as she heard Han Shuo's words, saying nothing more. She took out a thin piece of yellow paper from a nearby cupboard and picked up a quill with her slender fingers, dipping it into ink and quickly scratching out something.
After a short time, Fanny had filled the thin paper with words and she put the quill back into the inkwell. She handed the thin paper filled with text to Han Shuo and smiled, "This is the incantation and method to leave a magical mark on a summoned dark creature. Give it to Lisa, I think she will know what to do with her abilities as a novice magician."
Elated, Han Shuo almost trembled as he took the paper from Fanny. He nodded with a dumb smile and said eagerly, "I will leave immediately, Lisa will be very happy."
Han Shuo left Fanny's lab at an eager pace, clutching the thin paper in his hands as soon as he'd finished speaking.
"What an innocent little boy. I hope Lisa will cause him less trouble in the future because of this." Fanny smiled slightly and said with some emotion as she saw Han Shuo leave so urgently.
Midnight, the graveyard behind the Babylon Academy of Magic and Strength.
"Oh endless darkness, turn into destructive bone arrows and destroy according to my will, bone arrows!" A razor-sharp bone arrow materialised from thin air as a low chanted incantation ended. Accompanied by a shrill whooshing sound, it connected violently with the chest of the straw figure in front of it.
"Haha, I've finally successfully released a bone arrow!" Han Shuo laughed loudly and shouted with pride after seeing that the bone arrow had neither broken in mid-air nor gone off course.
A long time had passed since the last incident at the graveyard. Han Shuo resumed his practice of Bone Arrow Magic whenever he was sure that no one would pay attention to the place.
During this time, his mental strength had increased at a rapid pace, especially after the encounter with the strange orb. Since he hadn't succumbed to that great calamity, Han Shuo's mental strength had increased greatly. After repeated practice and increased magical knowledge, Han Shuo had finally mastered the low-level necromancy magic of Bone Arrow to perfection, without any mistakes.
The small skeleton stood at attention in the distance, its empty eye sockets vigilantly patrolling the four corners as its head turned. He grasped the bone dagger in his right hand, glowing with a cold, dark light in the moonlight.
Tomorrow, he would temporarily leave the academy for the outside world with Fanny and company. The fact that Han Shuo had used Lisa's name to ask Fanny a few questions never came to light. After all, it was just a small matter and Fanny wasn't someone who would ask about every little detail. Of course, she forgot about it after a day or two.
Over the past few days, Han Shuo had studied the 'Basics of Necromancy' and the 'Descriptions of Dark Creatures', as well as reading and pondering the words on Fanny's thin paper. He was confident that he would be able to leave a magical mark on the little skeleton. He planned to do this before he left the next day and began to place a magic brand on the little skeleton according to his understanding.
The small skeleton patrolling in the distance came towards Han Shuo with a burst of mental power. The seven bone spurs on its back fluttered slightly in the air, seeming to add a bit of power and causing the small skeleton's body to actually lift off the ground for a bit as it ran. This surprised Han Shuo, as he thought that his efforts in refining the skeleton had not been in vain. It was obvious that just like him, its strength had continued to increase.
As the small skeleton came to a halt next to Han Shuo, he gathered his concentration in a way he had never done before and curled his fingers upwards into the air. Then he began to softly recite the incantation he had found in Fanny's notes.
"My loyal servant, in the name of the Summoner, I leave my eternal mark upon you. Dark Seal!" Han Shuo suddenly felt his mental strength drain away rapidly as he finished the incantation, and an inky black aura the size of a fist formed between his hands.
The mental power required by this Dark Seal was more than he'd expected. It was only then that Han Shuo remembered something he'd overlooked - Lisa was a novice magician and he was only a magical apprentice. Fanny's method had most likely been tailored to Lisa's mental strength and hadn't even considered the fact that a magician's apprentice would be the one to cast it.
Han Shuo felt his head ache violently as his mental strength was spontaneously drained. He was involuntarily shocked by the feeling of something being drained away.
At that moment, the aura between his two hands suddenly drifted out and sank into the small skeleton's body between its two empty eye sockets. At the same time, Han Shuo felt extremely tired and sat heavily on the ground, panting heavily.
Suddenly, it was as if a corner of a veil had been lifted over the foggy memories that Chu Cang Lan had left behind, and part of an incantation and memory became extremely clear.
The newly discovered memories had to do with the harnessing of magical treasures and the 'Harnessing Magic Incantation'. This helped Han Shuo realise that he had gained a better understanding of some of Chu Cang Lan's fuzzy memories under somewhat bizarre circumstances.
A strange whooshing sound abruptly interrupted his thoughts, and Han Shuo unconsciously raised his head to search for its source.
He was stunned.
The little skeleton waved the sharp bone dagger in an airy dance. Cold light sparkled around the little skeleton's body in dizzying waves under the moonlight. The bone dagger followed the movements of the small skeleton's hand and stabbed the straw figure several times, leaving it with the appearance of Swiss cheese.
Han Shuo remembered himself after being stunned, his face full of unbelieving joy. He threw his head back to the sky and roared, "Damn it, I'm awesome!"
