As Kerren existed the ex-boss room he was met with... Nothing.
He expected people to look around since the system message was delibired to every person that was in the dungeon.
He didn't know if the contribution list was shown, since this dungeon was somewhat unique and technically he was the only person participating in the "raid" itself.
Since it didn't show for him, he had reason to think that it didn't show for any other people.
But as for the message that told people that it was conquered? Well, it was a thing that he couldn't escape.
It was the reason behind his almost maniacal obsession with bombs some time ago.
If people were after him he could just blow all of the dungeon up and be done with it!
There wont be a way for anybody to report what actually happened if he killed all of them...
After some thinking Kerren decided to close the door behind him, there was a chance that it couldn't be opened without a key.
If that was the case it'll make this place his most secured base until some other teleportation devices were acquired on next floors.
However, since he wasn't sure about it he wasn't thinking too much about using this place, since it could be the only way to get to the second floor people would naturally look for it.
What if they found it with him inside? It would be the same as getting caught at doing something not very... nice, or private... let's just put it like that...
Anyway, his current plan wasn't anything great as it was basically "Go out and use the thing to see if it's useful or not".
Of course, he wouldn't just use it in the open as he didn't even know what visual effect it would have. If it was too big people would obviosuly notice it!
As such, he had a reason to visit his favourite place in this world - his mountain hut!
Well, saying that it was his would actually be considered lying, since he didn't even own the land it was built on.
As for the hut or a cabin, whatever it was, honestly, it was just a wooden house in the woods - he didn't build it either.
He simply found it when he was... i'd say unhappiest in his life, he wanted to end it all at the time, but because of a one fortunous encounter he didn't do that...
As for the encounter itself? It wasn't the time for it yet. He will try to change something in this life, but right now he couldn't.
It was due to this encounter being unavailable, since it was a scenario dungeon that he raided in his previous life!
Well, as for the current time?.. Kerren was about to leave the dungeon. He didn't see that much people on his way, in fact, he haven't met a single one!
He started getting suspicious that someone might've evacuated all of them due to the fact that it was conquered...
Did it really matter? He didn't need that identity of his anyway, he could do whatever he wanted now!
More than that, he didn't plan on staying in his place either, his mission here was completed.
If he needed to enter this place later on? He had the Conqueror stone! Why bother going in like a normal person?
Some time later he actually exited it, it wasn't as peacuful as on the inside...
He saw many high-ranked people looking at him, every single one of them was at least Mid "A" rank!
Of course, such a measle force wouldn't be able to stop Kerren, but it he didn't need to - he wont kill them. He wasn't a bloodthisrty killer or something like that.
Obviously, if they attacked him first? Not only he'd kill them, he wont forget about their clans, guilds, whoever is behind them! Oh, their families too, just for the sake of it...
As Kerren looked around he remembered that he had to act innocent...
- Am i that popular that you all want my autograph or something? -- he put a smirk on his face, since he wasn't that good looking it looked somewhat weird.
- Show us your status and inventory and you will be free to go. -- a tall man in plated armor said. He wasn't the strongest here, so Kerren wondered why he was the one talking.
- Inventory is fine, but... Status? I wonder on what basis you want me to do that? -- as he asked that question he started thinking...
What was the reason behind that? Did he have something is his status after conquering the dungeon or something? That shouldn't be the case since he didn't get a notification that he was given a title or something like that...
More than that, he couldn't show his status since he didn't have skills he claimed to have! If he did that, even if they didn't find anything related to what they were looking for they'd still have some questions to ask!
It wasn't that he was afraid of it, but he preferred not to cause a ruckus for nothing...
- I'm afraid you're not qualified to know. Show us your status or we will have to use force! -- another man said, he was stronger than the previous speaker and even wore a formal tuxedo!
- Well, i dont even know who you are, mind telling me that? All you are right now is just a bunch of bandits that try to force me to do something st*pid... -- he had a point, since they didn't even bother introducing themselves!
- Once again, u're not qualified to know that. -- the man said with an angry tone -- Surrender or suffer, your choice. -- his expression said that he was about to attack!
- Hm... -- Kerren pretended to think for a while -- I'm afraid you have no qualifications to see my status. -- Kerren smirked and prepared...
But, as he was about to release his horrible attack that would've crippled, if not killed, at least half of the men infront of him...
- Move back! -- it was the principle who came in -- Gorven, there seems to be a misunderstanding! - she pretended that she just arrived.
Kerren, however, knew perfectly well that she was here the whole time. She didn't bother to do something until she felt that monstrous amount of mana Kerren's spell exuded!
Of course, he did that on purpose. He didn't want to kill so much high-ranked people. They might be useful later on...
Obviously, he wasn't planning on teaming up with them or something like that, but they could collect things for him, and when the time was ripe... he would just take their belongings!
- Oh, it's you, principle. I wonder what this is all about? -- two could play the game of pretend!
- U've seen the system message, right? First floor on the dungeon behind you was conquered, we're trying to find whoever did that. -- she explained with a stern voice.
- And what does it have to do with me? I did see the message, so what? Are you telling me to show my status, the thing that is most important to any awakened... just like that? Because you asked me to? -- many people actually agreed with what he said, status basically gave out all of the information about the person!
- Yes, i'm afraid you will have to comply, unless you want... -- before she could spout something else...
- Okay, fine, but every single one of you will have to show me their status in exchange. If you want me to do something - be prepared that you will have to do the same. -- he was as fair as one could be!
- That's impossible, you have no... -- it was the man in formal tuxedo who said it...
- My guy, was i talking to you? -- Kerren gazed at him angrily.
The guy was about to continue, but before he could do so the principle answered instead...
- He's right, Gorven, be a good boy and show us your status, you dont want to get in trouble, do you? -- she was threathening him or something?...
What a bunch of fools!
- Okay, i see that this is not going anywhere. Bye. -- he said with an honest smile.
He then jumped above, breaking whatever was there!
It shocked all that could see it, this whole room was made with a reinforced alloy that could hold against several "A" ranked players for a while, and this guy broke it completely... with his head!?
As Kerren landed he immediately reinforced him body with spells and started running, he was so fast that in just few seconds he was already out of the university!
Of course it was, he just spent 20% of his total mana... Mind you, it would be 50% if it happened before his feast...
