Some more intense thinking moments after Kerren finally realised the differencce... That damn lump of something inside of him!
Thus, he immediately started trying to inject some of into the magical crystal to test it out!
He was now somewhat familiar with, so the entire process went smoother than the last time...
And, what do you think? The room didn't absorb any of mana inside of the crystals!
Of course, he wasted several of them before he could inject some of the thing inside of it but whatever, he did it in the end!
However, another problem was before him... How does that help him solve the puzzle? He still needed to tank another 5 attacks from it!
But, as he was thinking about it... An attack was launched from the last spot! It wasn't targeted at him, but at the crystal that was in his hand!
Of course, it broke, but it provoked the spot so much that it decide to attack him even when it wasn't close to it!
But... Why didn't it attack Kerren, then? He had even more of that thing inside of him... Well, Kerren couldn't understand why it worked that way, but since it did... why not abuse it?
As such, he started making more of those crystals, he wasted a lot, and had to do it on the opposite side of the room so the spot didn't attack anymore, but after some time he had 7 crystals ready!
Why 7, you ask? Well, what if one or two failed? Should he take the attack head on, having less than 14% of his total mana? Yeah, dream on.
Since Kerren was ready, he started tossing those crystals towards the spot.
Why bother walking there? The result is still the same!
And it indeed was the same. Those crystals didn't even have the time to land as that thing shot them!
As he threw the final crystal... The spot was still there! Kerren was surprised for a second, but quickly threw 2 mor crystals towards it.
The spot, however, only launched one attack, and after it hit the crystal the world around Kerren went completely dark!
He wasn't surprised, as it was how he was transported from the secret room last time.
In the darkness some system windows popped up...
[Congratulations! You have passed the [Floor 1; Hint 3] challenge!]
[Rewards: Hint 3]
[Hint: Distract it.]
After Kerren immerged at the same spot when he was before entering he was puzzled.
What do you mean Hint 3!? Did she get another one or something? Or was it just a coincidince?
He didn't think much about that at all, since it didn't bother him as much as the hint itself...
How was he supposed to think of it in the first place!? That damn place absorbed crystals! He had to protect them, and if he wasn't somewhat special - how could he do it!?
Unless... Was he supposed to make something with his own mana or something? He didn't test that out as he bruteforced throught most of the attacks...
Eh... Kerren felt strange, yeah, he did pass the test, but did he really? He suddenly understood that it wasn't not the right way to do it!
He simply cheated, not getting the purpose behind it!
But... did that really matter that much? Even if he was supposed to do something else, he still passed, right?
So, why even bother about that?
Kerren started feeling happiness, now that he was strong enough to bruteforce through such test, he knew that he was on the right path!
However, he still needed to find some more hints, as this one didn't give him a way to attack the mosquitoe!
It only told him a way to fight against it... Was he supposed to just tank throughout his attacks and wait till it dies on its own or something? There's no way that's the case!
Sadly, he didn't have enough mana right now, spending any more crystals wasn't an option either, since he would need to spend a considerable amount to refill his mana completely, as it was only at 16% now...
As such, he decided to take a stroll through the dungeon! He didn't want to get back to the dorm just to sit there, as it was completely pointless.
Why waste time exiting and entering the dungeon again if he was completely fine with walking? He couldn't sleep anyway, so what's the problem?
He simply started walking, not forgetting to go in a correct direction! Which was the correct one? One he didn't visit yet! His spell that he used last time coveered only a portion of the dungeon, and right now he was going to the one it didn't cover at all!
If he did so he would have higher chances of finding another secret room, maybe he'll arrive right to it? Who knows? Well, definitely not Kerren as he was now thinking about killing the mosquitoe and then escaping right after!
Then, a nice idea came to his mind!
-* Why dont i just blow up the whole dungeon again?
It was... eh... not nice, to say the least... Well, i'm not saying it wont work, but... How was he planning to do that in the first place?..
Oh, mana-bombs, right... He started planting them as he walked... Oh god... Why does he like blowing up things so much!?
First the Dragon Heart, then a test room, then a dungeon, and now he's going to blow up this dungeon!? Was he insane or something!?
That's the 4th thing he wasn't to blow up completely! Damn psycho...
Oh, forgot to tell you, those mana-bombs weren't normal as well! He used his knowledge to add absorbption property to them, so with time they'll become mini-nuclear bombs.... hahahahahahaha.... he's insane...
...
Some time later he was in another part of the dungeon... You know what? I counted how many bombs he placed along the way. 137 bombs. Each one of them powerful enough to blow up everything in a 100m radius around it.
So... This guy will be able to destroy at least half of the dungeon once they detonated! But, was he planning to stop on just that?.. As if!
He already mapped the rest of the dungeon to plant the rest of the bombs, to cover it up completely!
Also, just a little bonus... they were becoming more powerful with time! Of course, the speed was far from great, but it did work as Kerren expected!
Such a big explosion will be able to wipe out everything that is alive! Even if it's not alive it will still die somehow!
Well, it's not like he will use it, that was just a backup plan, so he wont use them for fun... right?...
