"I don't understand why they are they allowed to be teachers! We should scrap the whole of E Section right away! They are just rejects!"
"Like you?"
"What did you say!!"
"Man, are you sure you are a teacher here? What are you? Bronze? Silver? Gold? I said is so clearly. LIKE YOU WHO WAS REJECTED FROM THE TRIBE?"
"You! TRIBELESS!!"
"Professor Bret, Professor Aurum, that is enough," Luna lightly said with a troubled look on her face. Her eyes darted between Bret and Aurum. Bret was fine, he shut his mouth after hearing her. The problem was Aurum, who was looking back at her. She held her expression, making sure the others didn't see anything from her face.
She was faced with a few problems. When she started the Academy, she was in complete control. She had many students in the first year, and the numbers doubled in the second, and by the third their infrastructures had to expand. Those that were tribeless married into the tribes, those from the tribes went back, and before long, the Academy became popular. The problem was, she was the only teacher during the first year, and there were two more in the second. But there was abruptly an influx of teachers in the third year.
With the increased number of students and teachers, she couldn't keep an eye on everyone. On second thought, she didn't even think of it them. The teachers were sent by the tribes. The peacefully academy she had created was turning into multiple factions. Each section was represented by one faction, and their approach regarding Totems.
Currently, A Section that was in control of the strongest faction while Section D was the weakest one, 'it seems that among the factions…the tribes behind Section B are having the strongest reaction to Section E's creation.'
She ran her eyes over the faces of other teachers who had no plans for addressing the problem Bret was creating, 'and others have decided to stay silent.'
'That's fine,' Luna closed her eyes, 'when Aurum came to me with that girl and asked me to let him teach. I agreed. I was thinking about where to put him when it only took him a few hours to judge what had been happening in the Academy, about the factions. He said he had a plan. Even helped him make E Section…but he has been acting strangely. And I am sure that he doesn't have his Totem anymore. I didn't see it anywhere on his body. He has gotten weaker…did something go wrong? I should start by making sure that he is face. Letting him go against the Four Factions as he is now…'
"Ok…"
A glow appeared in Bret's eyes. He jumped up at the opportunity, reading to hammer when it was this hot when the room turned cold but she didn't give him the chance to talk when Aurum's agreeing voice sent him into a shock, leaving him stammering, "Sure, that's a brilliant idea."
"It is?" The Professor of Section C blurted out, soon covering her mouth with her fingers, ignoring the look from strict looking man who was her Assistant.
"If you think so, then you should quit rather than dragging your students with you," the bodybuilder sitting on the chair of Section A, rubbing his moustache spoke.
"Hm? Why should I?" Aurum knew what they were thinking. He was more curious about reading the personalities of these people. He was looking forward to seeing their reactions and tell him more about themselves, "what does… THE WEAKEST SECTION SHOULD BE DISCARDED… has to do with me."
"Are you hallucinating?" Bret scoffed for a moment, ready to ridicule him when he realised what Aurum was saying. A look of irritation appeared on his face, seeing the man sitting on the opposite side of the table, far away from the head. Yet, that curious look, as if he was enjoying their struggles, agitated him.
"You Tribeless Bastard!" It wasn't Bret who jumped up to insult Aurum this time. It was the Head Professor from D Section. He had almost shaped eyes with the hint of monolid. He had a darker tone. He was thin, and he walked with grace, wearing silk clothes.
'He reminds me of people from Raijinkoku. On that matter…the Professor reminds me of someone from Paladenia,' he turned his attention back to the guy bouncing up and down, angry since he understood that he was next on the chopping block.
"Are you suggesting that your students are stronger than mine?!" he angrily shouted.
"Heh, those rejects! As if! Our students—" Bret finally found some support in his struggle. He planned to drag Ken to his side.
"Reject this, reject that," Aurum's voice rang out in Bret's ears. He tried to speak, but he felt frozen, his breath was cold, when he breathed, cold mist came out from his mouth, "we all know who comes to the Nameless Tribe to begin with. Just because you teach Section B doesn't mean anything. It only means you were lucky and few talented students were in your class and they performed well. At the end of the day, after the final evaluation, your section was given the Letter B."
"This is a new year. New students, who knows where the geniuses are this time," Aurum looked towards Luna. For a woman who was smart enough to hear the idea from the variable and start her own Academy. She was bound to understand what he was saying or not saying.
"That's a good point," Luna clapped her hands, garnering all their attention. She nodded to herself, as if talking with herself, coming up with a brilliant idea. Her eyes were bursting with pride as she jumped to her feet. She pointed forward, towards the wall across the table, grinning, "First Hunt! We are going to use the Results of First Hunt to compare and change the Sections! From A to E will be reassigned! At the End of Each Hunt, Students will be given the chance to join the Section of their Favourite Professors! But! The Professors can decide if they want the Student or Not! If the Student is rejected then they will be sent to E Section! Until they get the chance to Prove themselves next Hunt!"
She took a deep breath, feeling reinvigorated, looking at them all with sharp eyes, "Also, after the First Hunt. I will be Teaching E Section!"
'It's rough…but she has the outline. She really is more than a hot piece of ass,' Aurum thought, only suffer from Luna's sharp glare who intuitively deduced that he was thinking something disrespectful. He looked away from her when his thoughts were pulled back to her words, 'if she will be Teaching E Section…I see…'
He noticed the sharp looks from others, who had realised the same thing, each one looking at the other. Even the Head Professors of Section A and Section C, who seemed have had certain confidence in the talents in their classes were looking at each other, 'I was thinking about stakes where the section letter would be changed and we could all live to fight another day. She…on the other hand…'
He turned his snow-kissed eyes towards the woman whom he could only describe as warm, bubbly (body and spirit), fluffy from her aura, 'and a mind that is sharp like a sword. She plans on cutting one of the faction leaders…. permanently. And for these four…it's no different from a death sentence.'
"Wow, she's scary," Ai appeared between his hair, hugging her arms, "I have goosebumps."
'Me too… me too,' Aurum kept staring at Luna with a solemn face that Ai hadn't seen in a long time when he finally reached enlightenment, 'a bunny. Ah…she's like a cute bunny hopping around. That had been bothering me for a while.'
"Pfffhahaahhaahaha," Ai was taken aback for a moment. She couldn't help but laugh, noticing the same thing, "You are right! Bunny ears would be perfect on her!"
'I know right? If only I could have her wear the bunny costume,' Aurum pressed his lips, sulking.
