The Lady's magic was powerful, and her ice attacks were almost deadly. However, with every step Maelstrom took, he could feel the icy cold emanating from her, but he also felt a strange attraction, as if this was his destiny.
Kaito appears next to Maelstrom again, slashing enemies with his claws and sword. He stands next to the sorcerer, providing him with cover. Maelstrom knows he can't go on like this for long.
"We can't allow her to keep launching attacks like this!" Maelstrom shouts to Kaito as he dodges a bolt of ice.
Kaito nods, and the two of them advance together, determined to reach the Ice Lady. The ice creatures keep trying to impede their progress, but the pair work in perfect harmony, dodging and attacking efficiently.
