When Kaito's feet finally touch the ground on the other side of the Aurora Gate, he is once again in a completely new world.
A desert as vast as his eyes can measure stretches out before him, a landscape that is lost on the distant horizon.
Kaito looks up at the sky and sees two suns shining high in the sky, painting the landscape with an intense light. The larger of the two suns is intensely red, while the smaller one has a bluish glow. It's a unique sight, certainly unlike anything he's ever experienced before, and he knows that all this aridity is the hallmark of Floor 2, a virtually dead world.
Then Kaito looks around and not only does he not find the portal that brought him to this place, he doesn't find any sign of a city or a Duelist's Shelter, like the Table Shelter on the second floor.
"As I imagined, all this follows the same mechanics as Death Tower..." Kaito thinks.
