As Kaito's eyes change from emerald green to vivid red, Alex looks at Kaito with a mixture of emotions on his face. He tries to process the revelation he has just seen, shaking his head as if he can't believe what has been said.

Alex can't finish the sentence, though, so Kaito has to finish it for him.
Kaito keeps his gaze calm and serious, which is at the same time empathetic because of the beauty of the moonlight reflected on them. "Yes, Alex. I am a vampire. Vampirism is an Intermittent Curse and a way to save you."
For a few moments, Alex is completely stunned, absorbing the information and with his face expressing a mixture of surprise, fear, and hope. "... I thought vampires were just myths, legends. And they, I mean, you... are actually kind of Cursed? Is that true?"
