However, the Chimera is a born predator and its hybrid nature of multiple beasts makes it even more unpredictable, as a high-level creature should be.
Suddenly, a deafening roar escapes the Chimera's lips, which momentarily recoils instead of continuing forward, giving Kaito a brief pause to catch his breath.
Cautiously observing the 7 meter tall Chimera, Kaito quickly notices that its tail is regenerating, forming the head of a poisonous snake again. At least, this serves to explain why the creature has retreated.
