"You misunderstand, Mr. Dong. I don't scratch the backs of people who overestimate their worth." Her voice was sharp now, the amusement gone. "Your condition is ridiculous. I refuse."
Dong Shin's expression stiffened, but he quickly recovered, his eyes narrowing.
"Come now, Boss Su. I'm offering you more than just land. I'm offering you a strategic alliance with the military. No more hurdles or middlemen. You'll have a direct line to the top."
Su Jiyai chuckled softly, though there was no warmth in it.
"You think I'm desperate enough to make deals with someone like you?" Her gaze turned icy.
