I swinged harder as the peels of laughter rumbled out from behind me. I inhaled the fresh air and smiled at the way it feels, as if it hold an enchantment of some sort.
A whisper in the wind, trying to make itself known but not loud enough to understand it clear.....yet.
I don't know whatever it is, but it gave me warmth.
It is strange as I feel this, the wind has turned chilly as the weather has taken a dive and harsh winds kept blowing but amidst this, all I am feeling is warm from within.
The flower girls underneath me chirped loudly about something. Well they always have something to say, unlike me. They were gossiping about something again, so I tuned them out, except a few words still filtrated through my ears.
It was about a strange occuring that happened over the thestral mansion in Riodarda. The family, Lihsans are a rich bunch of people all hailing from the royalties and extravagant families. But it is the little detail that curtailed the current rumination among the maids.
It seems the family got a new addition to it as a long lost son of the current head came back in Picture after being away for so long that this is the first time he is being mentioned and nobody heard about it before.
It is a reigning scandal currently, as according to the family custom he is the rightful heir to the throne.
I pulled back from the gossip and continued with my gazing of the scenery.
My cottage resides in between the valley of snow capped mountains and the winters finally are hulling back giving first warm breath of the season.
So I moved down the steep of the branch of the tree, climbing it down as the maids downstairs moved along their way, still unaware of my presence.
I directly jumped into my room through the window as night descended and the moon peaked from the heavily clouded sky.
I pondered over all that the maids said, and came to a conclusion that whosoever it is, seems fatal to the world. Hope it stays that way, to offer me more calm, so I don't have to worry about my father and brother going after him if ever the war starts.
