"Are you hurt?" He asked.
"I got bit by a wildcat," I said. "It's just a small cut."
"A vengeful man should have a merciless heart," he said in a slightly reproachful tone as his fingers brushed across my face, "If you had been bitten by a snake, you would have died."
"I promise I won't make that mistake again."
My heart is cold, and I will not be affected by my feelings. Frade forgets me, which allows me to complete my revenge without any scruples.
