"I'm afraid it has boy..." Koba bites the side of his cheek, it was a piece of difficult news to break to Tobi because Koba had more disturbing news to break to not only him but to Crystal as well.
"... that's... that's not right..." Tobi hugs his cloth tightly to his chest and tries for a solution he asks "Can't you do something about it?!!!" He hugs his chest even tighter. Koba has his head low and silently mutters back "...no"
Tobi shut his eyes close in disappointment, he had heard the worse part of the news but that was the tip of the iceberg, He took a deep breath in sighed heavily, "... We still have time" Tobi looked directly into Koba's fiery eyes, Koba's eyes got wide open and shocked "...boy..." Tobi's green eyes had changed colors, his left had turned brighter like a neon green hue. "Yes we still have time..." Koba returned the determination and had a sense of hope for his child, they still have time to spend with Crystal, but when that time is up they have to face the reality of the monster that is now fully formed and can never b turned back to normal.
'' sigh... in the meantime, I'm going to find a cure to the curse on my sis" Tobi took a deep breath and looked at Crystal, slowly his left eye turned back to his original emerald color. Koba stretched out his hands and took out the second to last portrait screen, which was the portrait of a second-gen Ackerman.
Long silky black hair, pale skin like a vampire, and bright crimson eyes with golden eyeglasses with a gold rope attachment to his eyes and ears, he had a devious smile, his hand stretched out holding out a red apple which had a cavity to the side, staring into his eyes gave Tobi the shivers in fear at the sight of this Ackerman. "who is this guy?" Tobi points at the picture and looks back at Koba with his eyebrow furrowed, "Mr. Luxury is what he would want me to call him" Koba softly smiled at the picture.
"huh? Mr. Luxury? What kind of name is that?" Tobi raised an eyebrow, Koba walked slowly to the picture and gently placed his hands on the surface of the portrait as if to sympathize with the deceased Ackerman, "He was the first one to have started the havoc on earth..."
BOOM! The portrait caught fire and was engulfed in flames! "Woah! Woah! slow down why are you burning it up?!!!!" Tobi's eyes got wide open as he shouted, panicked, and stepped away from the heat. "... I warned him... I warned him but he was adamant" Koba's fury engulfed the portrait in so many flames that Tobi could no longer stay close to him. " WHY DID YOU COME TO ME TO SAVE YOUR LIFE IF YOU WERE STILL GOING DISOBEY ME?!!!" Koba roared in anger at the burning portrait.
Koba who went bent in extreme anger could not control his power thereby setting nearby trees on fire, Tobi got down on his knees covering his nose because of the smoke from the burning trees and wood, and soon he got on his belly unable to stand anymore due to the heat coming from the burning forest. "...please.. stop." he mustered enough strength to speak.
VOOM! Koba hears the muttered word from Tobi and immediately extinguishes the fire around him including the portrait, which was not burnt and without any blemish. "Tch!" Koba walked away from the portrait in annoyance, but was stopped by Tobi's voice again, "What did he do?" Koba rolled his fiery eyes at the question, in reply he said "He started this malicious curse".
Revian Hugo otherwise known as Mr. Luxury, was the first second-gen of Ackermans that started the pandemic of death on earth, his reason for this was absolute terror. He enjoyed the screams and cries of the weak suffering and the helpless shouts, the wails that echoed across the towns and villages that he would raid with so much terror and darkness making life on earth a living nightmare.
But, he didn't start out this way after all, he had a Head, a Master that wouldn't allow him to do this but that was a limitation to the power of the second-gens. They had free will. Revian had free will, a terrible amount. His head never stopped him from doing any of his raids and would often partake in planning out the ambush plans, gathering allies, and making plans for mass executions.
The beginning of this terror made Revian at first sick. Sick to the point he couldn't get up from bed for months at a time, his head was a woman, Eledia would help him, feed him and take good care of him but he never got any better, while a part of the world was spiraling into darkness, Revian who started this nightmare came close to death as well as his allies who were also Ackermans,
They had all gone against their biological instincts, and it backfired against them, the Ackermanian program is to protect their head and use their powers to protect other humans that need to be protected, any negation of this instinct caused an instant backlash on the Ackermanian power and body. Thereby sending them into self-destruct mode.
An illness that caught the whole second gen of Ackermans, it was their own pandemic of sickness and death, there was no cure for this attack on their body, coughing up blood, emaciation of their body until they were bones, pale skin, paralyzed body, stinging sensation on the body, irritated skin, stem attacks, and hallucinations, it was a nightmare for every Ackerman that went through this, it usually took three years for the sickness to fully erode the body of the Ackerman but depending on their strength it could take longer. But the longer the sickness took to kill them the longer their suffering so most second gen Ackermans ended up killing themselves when they could no longer bear the pain.
Somehow Revian got to know this information and when he realized why he was sick and weak, he order that he be taken to a silent and quiet place where he was left alone with Eledia. His subordinates and Eledia went up a forest that was deep on a mountain, there he managed to summon Koba.
There he asked that he be forgiven and made whole again, but Koba refused, saying "You are a disgrace to me why should I heal you?" Ther Revian had no answer and was sent out from Koba's domain. A few months later he summons Koba again, this time he offers up a contract with him,
"Heal me and I'll do anything you want"
"and if you disobey me what shall I do to you?"
"Curse me and all present and future second generation of Ackermans"
"What curse?"
"A curse that'll turn us into hideous monsters little by little until we completely lose ourselves to the inner beast inside us!"
"Alright, I'll heal you but if you disobey me one more time you and all other present and future generations of Ackerman will be turned into hideous monsters"
