Asta said as he kissed the top of Lily's head. "So that's why, when I become the Wizard King, will you marry me Lily Grinberryall?" Asta proposed to Lily as she smiled, tears of joy threatening to spill from her eyes.
"Yes, of course I'll marry you! Don't keep me waiting too long, 'kay Asta? But even if I become the Wizard Queen instead, I'll still accept your proposal." Lily said as she gave Asta a quick peck on the lips. A light blush dusted Asta's cheeks as she kissed him. Then he chuckled.
"Don't you worry Lil. I'll become the Wizard King soon enough! Then I'll propose to you officially and make you the happiest woman alive!" Asta said as Lily chuckled.
"And then I'll accept your proposal again. I'll accept it every time." Lily said as she reached over and lovingly stroked Asta's cheek with her thumb. Upon hearing she'd accept all his proposals, Asta knew Lily was the right choice for a bride. He leaned in and kissed her then pulled away and surrounded her in a warm embrace again. He rested his head in the crook of her neck. She nestled up against him, drowning in his scent. Asta's warmth was starting to make her feel sleepy. And before she knew it, she fell asleep peacefully in his arms. Asta chuckled softly and pulled the covers over both of them and fell asleep shortly after, holding her close as she snuggled up against his chest.
