"Um… Sweetie, I hate to break it to you, but I don't think that you are actually the crystal," I said slowly, trying to figure out what Jun Li was stressing over. It was like someone was speaking French to someone that only spoke Spanish. The other person might understand a bit, but a lot would be lost in translation.
"Excuse me?" demanded Jun Li after a moment of shock. "I think I would know what I was."
"And normally, I would agree. However, I think that, although you might have been inside the crystal initially, it was also acting as your prison, keeping you contained. But now that you are freed and fully 'uploaded' into both the ship and the android, I really don't think that you need the crystal anymore to survive."
