It took me 20 minutes to reach the place where I used work at.
It is a medium sized convenience store. This was the first place I got a job at and I worked here for a long time since the pay was a little better than other places.
I entered the store and went to stuffs room.
"Yo,Erik. What's up man?"
I heard a voice as soon as I entered the stuff room.
I looked at the source of the voice to see a boy with black hair and black eyes. He is the same age as I am right now.
"Hi there, Eddie. Nothing's up. When did come?"
I asked him. This is Eddie. We first met while working in the store. We have been friends since . I didn't contact him again after I went out for my quest of revenge.
"I just came about 5 minutes ago. You came here even in the new years day. I thought you will spend the day at your home."
"Money problems. And you should say that to yourself. You are also here to work to."
"Well I have the same problem as you so I had to come."
After chatting for a while we changed to our uniform and went to our respective sections to work.

10 hours later.
It is evening now and I was going home after finishing my shift.
"I don't think I have enough money to spend at the stock markets. What should I do?"
[Why don't you earn some money from the underworld then. I know you did that a lot in your previous life since you needed a lot of money to track down Albert.]
"Yeah. You are right. Why didn't that cross my mind?"
Saying that I changed my directions and went towards an unknown and quite place.
It was in a an alley by some buildings.
I went deep inside the alley and saw a place where stairs were going down.
I went down the stairs and was met with a thik iron door which looked it won't break even if someone throws a grenade at it.
I reached the door and rang an old fashion bell and waited. After a few minutes a voice came from the other side of the door.
"Password."
'Yeah. There used to be a password to enter the underworld. What was it again? Yeah I remember now.'
"Sorry I don't remember it. I am a very forgetful person." ( A.N: Sorry couldn't come with something better.)
After that the door made a loud sound and opened.
When it opened I saw a man with large built wearing a bodyguards suit.
"Here, wear this mask. Don't remove the mask as long as you are inside."
I nodded and took the mask from him and put it on.
It was jokers mask. Everyone has to were mask in the underworld unless you are some big shot. It is to prevent peoples Identity to get liked.
Well not like the big shots appear before everyone it the underworld. They just sit in a private room and their men do all the work.
Then started going down some more stairs and I reached a big hall with many people inside.
'Its just like I remember it do be. Seems like it didn't change much in the future.'
Then I went towards a counter and greeted the lady at the counter who was also wearing a mask.
Seeing me approach she said.
"How may I help you, young man?"
"I want a job that pays big money."
Hearing that she went back inside a door and came a few moments later with some papers.
"Here you can chose whatever you want to take from here."
She said handing me the papers.
I read all the papers for a few minutes and chose one of the jobs that was a delivery job and it was not that far from here.
Then I hand the paper to her and said," I want to take this one."
"Well then please sign here please."
She said pointing down at the paper where there was a space for signs.
I signed it and she took the paper and went inside that door again and came out with a black briefcase.
"Here is the thing you have to deliver and don't try to open it. You will be paid the money after delivering this. They will give you a letter that will prove that you finished the task. You can come here at any time with that letter to take the money."
I nodded and took the briefcase and went out of the underworld.
The delivery location is an hour away from here if I want to go by waking.
This was the easiest and it said it will pay 100,000$.
If you guys are wondering why I am believing that they pay me the money fully then I will tell you guys.
In the underworld you can't cheat anyone when it comes to official jobs issued by underworlds management center(UMC) itself.
And the job I took was issued by the UMC itself so i have nothing to fear.
Then I started going toward the delivery location and reached the location after an hour.
It was a big mansion. I approached the gate and soon a voice was heard from a speaker at the gate.
"Stat your purpose for coming here."
I didn't say anything and just showed the briefcase to camara that was above the gate.
I few moments later the gate opened and a man came towards me and said,"Follow me."
I nodded and followed him and went inside the mansion.
They took me to a place which looked like an office.
'Maybe its the office of the owner of the house.'
Then through a door came a man wearing a business suit and say sat on the chair behind the desk.
Then he signaled at his man that was besides me.
He toon the briefcase from me and he placed it in front of his boss and opened it.
The boss looked at the item in the briefcase and took out a letter from a drawer of the desk. He handed the letter to his man and the man gave the letter to me.
"Seems like you did your job well. You didn't open the briefcase either. Stat your name."
The boss said to me.
"Thank you for your praise and sorry I can't stat my name."
It is a rule to not tell name to your clients if you are doing a job issues by the UMC.
"Well you can go. Lead him outside."
Then the man led the way and I came out of the mansion.
'Few.. That was quite an easy job and I also got the letter.'
"I should get going home it is already late. Erika will start worrying I don't go home soon. I will take the money tomorrow."
One and half an hour later I reached home and opened the going inside.
"Brother you are late. You said you will come early today."
Erika said standing in front of the door with her arms folded under breasts and pouting.
"Sorry something came up and I got late, sorry."
"It's okay. Go and take a bath quickly the dinner will be ready soon."
"Okay~."
