The Eternal Life Hall, the room was filled with one Life-span Lamp after another, densely packed, neat and orderly, arranged in rows, quite a spectacle to behold.
At the highest and most prominent position of the Lamp shelf, there was a row of lamps. These lamps were only twelve, representing the twelve Da Luo Venerables besides Nangong Night.
The disciple who kept watch at the Eternal Life Hall sat cross-legged in the center of the hall, meditating with his eyes closed. Every now and then, he would open his eyes and scan around the room to ensure that all the Life-span Lamps were in order before closing his eyes again.
After running his Qi circulation for ten cycles, the disciple opened his eyes again, his gaze habitually moving to the center of the hall.
This was his habit.
From high to low, from left to right, he inspected everything.
His gaze swept across the top, then habitually moved downwards, before pulling up short.
