Qin Zheng floated in mid-air, looking down at Lu Yao below, his gaze heavy.
"You sure can hold it in. But you're mistaken. Even if I knew the truth, I still would've let you go. After all, you're not the only one who hates me. I kept you all around merely to serve as my grindstones, to remind me not to indulge and not to stand still."
Lu Yao laughed: "Is that so? Would you dare say that if you knew the true story, then when you were building this tomb, you would've listened to my advice as the Array Master?"
Qin Zheng was silent for a few moments, then nodded: "You're right. I presumed the world would be destroyed and all emotions and resentment would return to dust. The idea never crossed my mind that you would plan your revenge for such a distant and unpredictable future ...."
Lu Yao sneered: "Exactly, if we both died or I died completely, all these emotions would of course return to dust. Since we're both alive, naturally I have to settle this score with you."
