VAGUE MEMORIES PART 1
Looking into your blue eyes, an ocean of mystery and melancholy, I was swept away by a feeling of enchantment and familiarity. It was as if I had seen those eyes before, but in a different context. A spark of recollection ignited within me, and I realized that Izabella's appearance was identical to the girl who frequented my dreams. However, there was a subtle difference, an aura of maturity that enveloped her presence.
The question about her name remained suspended in the air, as my mind tried to assimilate the magnitude of this revelation. How could it be possible? The meeting of two such distinct realities, an intertwining of dream and wakefulness. My curiosity finally overcame my perplexity, and I decided to ask her name. With a deep and penetrating gaze, Izabella softly replied, "Izabella, and yours?"
"Ray," I responded, keeping my eyes locked onto hers. There was a brief moment of silence, as if the universe held its breath, and then her voice echoed again.
"In this world we find ourselves in, Ray, there is no way out. We are trapped here, in a reality that transcends human understanding."
Those words reverberated in my mind, like a bell ringing the melody of an unwanted truth. A sense of unease seized me as I struggled to absorb this newfound information. So many questions arose in my mind. How did we come to this place? Why were we imprisoned here? And most importantly, how could we escape?
As I remained immersed in my thoughts, my gaze shifted to Izabella's face. Her countenance carried an expression of deep solitude, a sadness that seemed to have become an inseparable part of her existence. It was an empty look, devoid of hope, and I wondered how someone could continue to live with such desolation. Those eyes were a mirror of my own journey, a reflection of the depths of despair I once experienced.
Recalling my own past of hopelessness brought forth painful memories. I vividly remember the time when the will to live completely abandoned me. I questioned, amidst the dark abyss of my existence, why I was still here. It was excruciating to dwell in a world that I abhorred, until an unexpected encounter changed the course of my life.
Haru, that was the name of the one who rescued me from the edge of the abyss. Their presence brought a faint light to the darkness that enveloped me. They taught me to see the hidden beauty in small things, to find hope even in the darkest moments. Haru became my anchor, a beacon that guided me out of the depths of my own desolation.
