They would basically focus their time on repairing areas like this first stop, followed by their departure from the kingdom's capital.
At least 40 points like the one above, destroyed places with monsters watching nearby, were scattered throughout the province, preventing the best movement and communication of the isolated communities in the area.
Even though the province was badly destroyed and occupied by monsters, not all of the remaining magicians were in Grandis. As far as the royal family knew, groups of a few hundred or even a few thousand humans were hiding in the area now under monster control.
