Brandon
We walk into the main house and I already sense her before we get into the front door.
Luther is calm, I don't even understand how he is so calm when I can almost sense shit hitting the fan.
"You are back," she mutters as we walk into the living room.
Luther nods "Hello Lucinda."
She raises a brow, standing up and walking over to us "That's all you have to say?" she questions. I can see the tension between them, the unspoken words hanging heavily in the air.
Luther takes a deep breath, "We need to talk."
She rolls her eyes "How long is Brandon going to be here?" she questions.
I can tell she doesn't want to have anything to do with me. Lucinda has always let her disdain towards me be known.
"Lucinda, Brandon is here because he matters to me," Luther says, his voice firm.
She scoffs "Your game is getting old Luther. You can stop whatever this is ."
