The hallway is quiet.
Eerily quiet.
"Is it always this quiet?' I whisper to Leo.
He shakes his head "There are always guards around. It's too quiet." He replies.
I nod in agreement, a sense of unease settling over me. The silence feels heavy, like a shroud of anticipation hanging in the air. Every step we take echoes through the corridor, amplifying our own presence in this seemingly abandoned passage.
As we continue down the hallway, I can't shake the feeling that we're being watched, that hidden eyes are tracking our every move. I grip the pipe tighter in my hand, my senses on high alert, ready to defend myself if necessary.
"I know the way to the exit, that is where we should look," Leo tells me with determination in his eyes.
