I stir slowly as I try to open my eyes. I feel pain all over me as I attempt to get up again. Darkness is all I see; pain is all I feel.

I try to remember how I got here, but my mind is muddled, and I can't focus. I let out a low growl of frustration, and it turns into a whimper as the pain increases.

I am not sure how long I've been here, but it feels like an eternity. The air around me is stale, and I can smell the faint scent of blood and death.

I try to get up again, but my body refuses to move. I am trapped, and the realization hits me hard.

My captors have taken me from my pack, from the only home I've ever known.

Panic sets in as I try to think of a way out, but my mind is blank. I am weak and injured, and there is nothing I can do.
