"Why the fuck are you back here, kid?" My father's voice echoes with disdain as I enter the main house. He's seated in the living room, engrossed in the TV, but his attention immediately shifts to me.
I take a deep breath, steeling myself for the inevitable confrontation. The tension in the air is palpable. "I live here, Dad," I reply, my voice calm but tinged with frustration. "This is my pack, too."
He scoffs, his eyes narrowing with contempt. "Your pack? Don't make me laugh," he retorts, his voice dripping with derision. "You've always been weak, always running away from your responsibilities. You'll never be a true Alpha."
His words sting, as they always do, but I refuse to let them break me. "I've made mistakes in the past," I admit, my voice filled with determination. "But I'm here now, ready to protect our pack, to prove myself."
He shakes his head, a mocking smile playing on his lips. "Prove yourself? Please," he scoffs. "You're nothing more than a shadow of your mother. She was the true leader, the one who held this pack together. And look at you now, a pathetic excuse for an Alpha."
Anger flares within me, but I hold it back, refusing to sink to his level. "You can insult me all you want, Dad," I reply, my voice steady despite the turmoil inside. "But I won't let your bitterness cloud my purpose. I'll protect this pack, with or without your approval."
He laughs, a cruel sound that echoes through the room. "Protect the pack?" he sneers. "You couldn't even protect your own mother. She died because of your incompetence."
The pain of losing my mother resurfaces, intensifying the raw emotions swirling within me. But I won't let his words tear me apart. "You think I don't blame myself every day?" I respond, my voice laced with a mixture of grief and determination. "I carry that burden, and it fuels my determination to be a better Alpha, to keep our pack safe."
His expression remains hardened, his eyes cold and unyielding. "You'll never be the leader this pack needs," he spits out, his voice dripping with disdain. "You're weak, just like your mother."
I take a step forward, my own anger seeping into my words. "Weak or not, I won't let you undermine my efforts," I declare, my voice filled with conviction. "I'll prove to everyone, including you, that I'm capable of leading this pack and protecting those who rely on me."
His eyes flash with a mix of frustration and contempt. "We'll see about that," he mutters, his voice laced with a challenge.
I turn away, refusing to let his negativity consume me any longer. I may not have his approval, but I won't allow his toxic words to define me. I have a pack to protect, and that's where my focus lies.
As I walk out of the living room, a renewed determination settles within me. I won't let my father's scorn weaken my resolve. The Nightshade Syndicate may be a formidable threat, but with the support of those who believe in me, I'll lead our pack to face the challenges ahead. And maybe, just maybe, I can prove my father wrong and show him the strength and resilience I possess.
I won't let his bitterness bring me down. I am the Alpha, and I'll forge my own path, guided by the responsibility I carry for the pack's well-being.

The sky is dark and the moon is shining brightly. Nighttime is when I work best. I saw Gabriel the other day and he seemed to be trying to get the scents of the trespassers but unlike him, i always get shit done.
I saw what he saw when i got close to him. I am the one that put it in his head. I made him rememeber that night and it was just for fun. Everything i do to Gabriel Rivers is just for fun.
Genuinely, i have no hate for him.
I hate that he is a member of the Crescent moon pack. I hate the stupid innocent look he always has on his face. I hate that his pack actually sees him as such a good leader.
Fuck.
I shake my head, as an attempt to get him out of my head as i turn. Giving my wolf full control. The minute i let go it seems like everything around me heightens and i feel like i'm walking in the clouds.
The night surrounds me, and I embrace its dark allure. It's in these moments, when my wolf takes control, that I feel the most alive. My senses sharpen, and I become one with the primal instincts that course through my veins.
The scent of the night fills my nostrils, a mix of earth, pine, and the distant promise of danger. I let my wolf guide me, relying on its keen senses to navigate the territory. There's a freedom in surrendering to the beast within, a liberation from the burdens of human emotions.
As I prowl through the woods, my steps are silent, my movements graceful and calculated. The moon's glow bathes the landscape in a soft ethereal light, casting shadows that dance with my every stride. I revel in the power and agility that my wolf form provides, a stark contrast to the confines of human existence.
In this state, I feel untouchable, invincible. The weight of my rivalry with Gabriel momentarily fades into the background, replaced by the intoxicating rush of the hunt. I focus my senses, searching for any signs of intruders, my wolf nose sniffing the air for unfamiliar scents.
There's a sense of anticipation in the air, a whisper of unseen danger. It's as if the night itself holds secrets, waiting to be uncovered. My wolf is restless, sensing that something is amiss in our territory. The Nightshade Syndicate's presence lingers in the back of my mind, a reminder of the larger threats that loom on the horizon.
As I continue my patrol, a growl escapes my throat, a warning to any potential intruders. This is our territory, and I will protect it at all costs. I prowl the perimeter, marking my scent to assert our dominance and ward off any would-be trespassers.
In the darkness, I embrace the duality within me. The hatred I harbor for Gabriel and his pack fuels my determination, driving me to surpass them, to prove that I am the superior Alpha. But beyond the rivalry and the desire for dominance, I am still a wolf, a creature of instinct and loyalty.
The night is my sanctuary, a realm where I can shed the burdens of my human existence and embrace the wildness that resides within me. It's here, in the moonlit embrace of the forest, that I feel most alive, most true to my nature.
With each step, I venture deeper into the unknown, ready to face whatever challenges await me. The Nightshade Syndicate may be a formidable foe, but I am no stranger to darkness. I am the embodiment of the shadows, and in the darkness, I will rise.
