Chapter 1 - Prologue

On a tranquil night, the air is still, and a gentle breeze whispers softly through the air. The silence envelops the surroundings. The sky was filled with glittering stars and the moon was casting a gentle glow, illuminating the landscape with its silver light.

A small castle, bathed in the soft glow of the moon, emanates a sense of quietness and elegance. Along the castle walls, a soldier weary from the long hours of duty, was asleep having a great dream.

Suddenly, amidst the hazy realm between consciousness and sleep, the silence was interrupted as a distant rumbling sound pierced. The soldier's ears perked up. His senses sharpened as he strained to identify the source of the disturbance. As soon as he saw where the sound was coming, he stood up as quickly as he could.

Outside the castle gates, a formidable horde of diverse monsters loomed, ranging from diminutive creatures to colossal behemoths. Among the smaller fiends were repulsive goblins, brutish ogres, and even rodent-like abominations, all melded within the seething mass. However, the most daunting and awe-inspiring presence within the horde was the colossal figure of the Ogre King, a monstrous entity that commanded both fear and respect.

"M-monsters!"

Devastated, the soldier shouted looking at the number of the swarming monsters in their way.

Other soldiers positioned in different places along the castle were alarmed by the sudden shout of the soldier. They quickly looked outside the castle wall and saw the swarming monsters.

"We're dead!"

"Shut your mouth you coward! Brace yourself and take position!"

A person in his 50's who may seem like the Commanding General exclaimed angrily to the scared soldier.

"Lieutenant General Moskov, Inform the tower troops to take their assigned positions quickly!"

"Yes, General Yamazaki!"

Answered by the young man. He then raised his arm to salute and quickly called out the soldiers at the tower to ring the bell.

The scared soldier rang the giant bell hurriedly as if his life was at stake.

*DING* *DING* *DING* *DING*

Suddenly, a resonating chime rang out, piercing through the stillness of the castle. The sound of the bell echoed, reaching every nook and cranny. As if struck by lightning, soldiers from different buildings sprang into action, their footsteps pounding against the cold stone floors.

From the barracks, men and women clad in armor burst forth, hastily strapping on their weapons and adjusting their gear. Their faces wore expressions of determination and focus as they knew their training had prepared them for this moment. Each soldier knew the bell's toll signaled a call to arms, an urgent summons to defend their homeland.

Windows and doors flew open in other sections of the castle, revealing soldiers in various states of readiness. Some were in the middle of taking their meals, hastily abandoning their plates and rushing to grab their weapons. Others were emerging from the training grounds, wiping sweat from their brows and joining the growing throng.

The soldiers moved with an orchestrated chaos, converging on predetermined positions throughout the castle. Archers ascended the castle walls, their quivers filled with arrows, while infantry units formed tight formations in the courtyard, their shields held high. The clanking of armor, the rustling of banners, and the murmurs of battle strategy filled the air.

As the soldiers assumed their positions, a solemn silence enveloped the castle. The only sound that remained was the steady breeze. They awaited further instructions, their eyes fixed on the horizon.

The Commanding General stood on a vantage point, overlooking the chaos unfolding before him. His eyes widened with a mixture of devastation and confusion as he witnessed the sheer magnitude of the monstrous horde stretching out beyond the castle walls. The numbers seemed overwhelming, and he felt a weight of responsibility pressing down upon his shoulders.

In a moment of despair, uncertainty clouded his thoughts, and he struggled to formulate a clear strategy. The General's mind raced, searching for a way to rally his troops and turn the tides against this seemingly insurmountable threat. But his indecision froze him in place, unsure of the best course of action to take.

"General! General!"

Lieutenant General Moskov called out to the Commanding General as he was in a frozen state.

Just as the weight of the moment threatened to consume the General, a figure emerged, clad in shining, bulky armor. The gleaming plate mail reflected the dim light, commanding attention amidst the chaos. It was as if a beacon of hope had appeared in the darkest hour.

"Let's do this quickly and celebrate at our usual place!"

The man clad in gleaming armor raised his voice, projecting his words as if calling out to his comrade. At that exact moment, a woman draped in a resplendent mage robe. The robe, adorned with intricate patterns and delicate embroidery, whispered of ancient wisdom and arcane power.

Perched atop her head was a magnificent magician's hat, embellished with ornate symbols and adorned with shimmering stars and moons. Its deep, velvety hue matched the intensity of her gaze, reflecting the depths of knowledge and enchantment hidden within her.

In her hand, she grasped a grand wooden cane, its polished surface etched with intricate carvings that seemed to come alive with every twist and turn. The cane, adorned with crystals and gemstones, pulsed with a faint, otherworldly glow, hinting at the latent magic contained within.

As she moved with a graceful poise, the woman emanated an air of both elegance and power. Around her, whispers of awe and reverence followed.

"Don't just take all the nice lines! I was supposed to say that!"

She exclaimed loudly. Unlike her appealing physical appearance, her attitude was the complete opposite. It was a major setback.

All the awed soldiers were stunned to hear the woman shout.

*Bang*

The woman's head lowered as a forceful punch made contact.

"Can't you just shut that mouth of yours? You are just so annoying."

A young man donned in a suit of sturdy leather armor shrugged at the woman. In his hands, he wielded a majestic longbow, a weapon of elegance and power. Crafted from fine wood, its sleek curves and polished surface spoke of the skill and artistry invested in its creation. The bowstring, taut and ready, hummed with anticipation, echoing the young man's unwavering determination.

"Ouch! Did you just hit me you f*****?!"

The woman was about to hit him back when she noticed that everyone was looking at her intensely.

The young man stood tall with steady hands, eyes fixed on the colossal figure of the Ogre King amidst the chaos. The archer drew back the string of their large bow, muscles straining with focused determination. Flames flickered and danced upon the arrowhead. The bowstring creaked under tension, vibrating with latent power, as the archer's gaze remained unwavering on their target.

In an instant, with a resounding release, the archer let go of the string. The arrow soared through the air. It whistled, carving a brilliant trail of fire across the battlefield, its path guided by the archer's expertise and unwavering aim.

The flaming arrow hurtled towards its intended destination, closing the distance with incredible speed and precision. Time seemed to slow as the monstrous Ogre King, its menacing features frozen in a moment of arrogance, stood unaware of the impending doom descending upon it.

Then, in an awe-inspiring display of marksmanship, the arrow found its mark. It pierced the air with a whistling sound before driving itself unerringly into the head of the Ogre King. A burst of fiery brilliance erupted upon impact.

The Ogre King's imposing form faltered, a momentary hesitation in its monstrous reign. Then, with a final shudder, the figure slumped to the ground, lifeless. Witnessing the fall of their sovereign, the monsters halted in their tracks, their collective confusion palpable.

Among the chaotic horde, a ripple of uncertainty spread, like a fissure in their united front. The monsters, once driven by the Ogre King's command, now found themselves adrift, lacking the guidance and leadership they had relied upon. They glanced at one another, their gazes reflecting a mix of fear, doubt, and bewilderment.

Without the Ogre King to issue orders and inspire their bloodlust, the monsters hesitated, their instinctual unity unraveling before their eyes. The once-formidable force that had instilled terror in the hearts of their foes now faltered, unsure of their purpose or the path forward.

A chorus of confused growls, snarls, and screeches echoed through the battlefield, a symphony of disarray. The monsters, now bereft of a leader, were thrown into a state of disarray, their actions disjointed and uncoordinated.

At that moment, the warrior swiftly darted forward, propelling themselves with agility and strength, defying gravity as they soared into the air. With unparalleled precision, they descended upon the fallen Ogre King. The man enchanted a word and suddenly its large white shield glowed and flickered and suddenly all the disjointed and uncoordinated monsters looked at him and ran at his path.

Suddenly, meteorites hurtled towards the warrior and the surrounding horde of monsters.

"Boom!"

The sorceress said with a smile on her face.

As the meteor made impact, a blinding white light engulfed the battlefield, washing away the vibrant colors of the chaos. In that brilliant moment of impact, a deafening explosion echoed through the air.

When the blinding light dissipated, a scene of utter desolation unfolded. Where once stood a horde of ferocious monsters, there was now nothing but ash and silence. The creatures that had threatened the realm were reduced to mere remnants, consumed by the cataclysmic force of the meteor's impact.

Amidst the wreckage, a lone figure stood tall, unaffected by the devastation that surrounded them. The warrior, with a resolute gaze and unwavering determination, appeared unscathed. A shimmering golden shield enveloped their body, a radiant barrier that protected them from the meteor's wrath.

The battlefield erupted in a mix of awe, triumph, and relief, as the soldiers witnessed the demise of their most formidable adversary. Amidst the jubilant celebration that reverberated through the air, the Commanding General scanned the surroundings to look for the heroes who had brought about the downfall of the monstrous horde were nowhere to be found within the premises.

Intrigue wove through the atmosphere, as whispers of their disappearance echoed among the crowd. The absence of these valiant individuals sparked a sense of wonder and curiosity, casting an enigmatic veil over their deeds.

And so, a tale began to unfold—a tale that would transcend time, weaving its way through history. It became a fabled legend, whispered by bards and sung by minstrels in every corner of the realm. The story spoke of three extraordinary souls, driven by an unyielding determination and united by an unbreakable bond.

Their triumph, however, came at a cost. As the last of the monsters fell, their mission completed, the heroes vanished from sight, leaving behind nothing but a lingering sense of awe and gratitude. They became the stuff of legends—the epitome of heroism and selflessness.

Somewhere around Earth

Inside the room, there were three virtual capsules, each housing a person. It was a regular scene until, out of nowhere, the doors of the capsules swung open, jolting the occupants awake. Confusion washed over them as they rose to their feet, only to realize that their mom had switched off their capsules.

A collective gasp escaped their lips as they processed what had just happened. The shock on their faces was undeniable, as they struggled to comprehend the unexpected turn of events.

Their mom, standing nearby, pointed towards the clock, signaling that it was already late and time for them to go to sleep.

"Mom!"

burst forth from all of them simultaneously, their voices merging in a chorus of surprise and protest.

The room was filled with a mix of emotions—a blend of disbelief, frustration, and perhaps a touch of amusement. It was a moment shared among friends, where they found themselves caught off guard by their mom's actions, yet also united in their reaction.

Even though the siblings are really annoyed and frustrated by their mom's actions, they feel completely helpless because, you know, she's the ultimate boss of the house. Going against her would be like a death sentence. It's crazy how strong their Asian culture is, right?
