After discussing the will, the Emperor makes Anakin tell him about his adventures with the late Grand Commander. His laughter can be heard from outside accompanied by Anakin's chuckles.

Beads of sweat form on Callan's forehead as his grip tightens on the sheets, his body trapped in the grip of a nightmare. His lips quiver, soft whimpers escaping as his head thrashes side to side, desperately trying to break free from the terror.
"Mother," he keeps calling in his sleep.
In his nightmare, he is walking towards his mother's courtyard, calling her name as shadows stretch eerily around him. When he reaches the courtyard, he freezes. A man and a woman kneel at the feet of the Grand Chancellor, a sword gleaming in his hand.
