As the sun crept over Rio, we made the final preparations for the heist. I returned to the safehouse with Elena by my side. She was dressed casually, yet something was missing—the silver cross that once belonged to Dom. Without a word, I handed him the cross, along with a file Hobbs had given me.
"These are all the details Hobbs collected on you," I said, watching Dom as he took the cross with a quiet nod, immediately putting it around his neck. He barely glanced at the file, but Brian took it, flipping through the pages with a raised brow.
"It's impressive they got all this so fast," he muttered. Though he wasn't worried, the speed at which they compiled the intel surprised him.
I then introduced Elena to everyone, explaining her deep-seated grudge against Reyes. She no longer cared about her past life or her ex-husband; her focus was singular—justice for the people of Rio. Reyes was the common enemy, and Elena's loyalty now lay with me. So I tasked her with the job of taking down all the corrupt higher officials in the police station under the chaos of the heist.
We had an additional member on the team, Vince. It turned out that Reyes's men had tried to kidnap Mia while she was out at the market yesterday, but luckily, Vince had been keeping an eye out for the team.
With everyone up to speed, it was time for the team to get into position. Dom and Brian would drive the two modified police cars, rigged with reinforced bumpers and powerful engines designed for one thing: dragging the massive safe out of the station. Roman and Han would handle the two other police cars, providing cover and distraction as we made our escape. Vince, Tej, Rico, and Tego were set to man the garbage truck, ready to switch out the safes mid-escape, a crucial part of the plan. Mia stayed back at the safe house, acting as overwatch and keeping an eye on comms. Gisele and Letty were by her side, prepared to protect her if our hideout was compromised. If they could find Mia in a busy market then it is only a matter of time before they find out about this safe house as this is now reality and not fiction.
My role was clear. I was on my bike, fast and manoeuvrable, to keep up with the safe and neutralize any threats that tried to stop us. With my helmet on and gear ready, I revved the engine, my heart racing with anticipation.
The heist was on.
Elena and I were the first to move out followed by Dom, Brian, Roman, and Han. Elena and I arrived a few minutes earlier than the rest. I dropped Elena off opposite the police station and she walked off into the police station. Getting inside the police station she confirmed Reyes's presence and that of the corrupt police officials through our comms and was waiting for my signal. Right on cue, the team arrived, and I hacked into the underground parking gate to lower the retractable concrete bollards. Before security could react, Dom and Brian sped through, ignoring the gate guards' shouts.
Dom and Brian executed the first step flawlessly, speeding into the police station and driving straight to the wall that leads to the vault room. They used explosives provided by Gisele to blow through the wall, then anchored the cable wires to the vault's door. The vault strained before finally giving way under the weight of the two cars pulling in tandem. Metal screeched as the vault strained, finally giving way under the force of their two cars pulling in tandem. They dragged it into the open, enduring heavy gunfire from police in the parking lot.
Once they cleared the station, alarms blared throughout the city. Within seconds, sirens sounded, and the chase began. As soon as they left the parking they right under Mia's guidance. I shot down any guards that were shooting at us and I also blew up some tyres of patrol cars that tried to exit the parking lot to chase after the vault making sure that those cars blocked the the way out for other patrol cars.
I received the order that I could move out as the vault had taken a right turn at the next signal. Accelerating down the road, I caught up with Dom, Brian, and the vault swinging wildly behind them.
The vault was enormous, swinging wildly behind Dom and Brian's cars as they tore through Rio's crowded streets. I followed close behind, eyes scanning the surroundings for any threats. Sure enough, corrupt police under Reyes soon appeared, and police sirens echoed through the air as they tried to get close.
Kicking my bike into high gear, I sped up and intercepted the first car, taking out the tyres and sending it spinning off the road. Another car pulled up on Dom's side, and I quickly manoeuvred, firing a quick shot killing the driver and making the car swerve away and hit other parked cars on the side of the road. The chase was intense, with every twist and turn a test of skill and nerves.
After crossing the next intersection many police vehicles joined in the chase and multiple officers in the cars started shooting at us. Roman and Han, arrived on time in their police cars, and crashed those cars out of the road, eliminating all the vehicles that were chasing Dom and Brian. This gave us a window of a few minutes to switch the vault under the overpass, Roman and Han separated from us. As they sped through the streets, Vince and the others were on standby with the garbage truck, ready to make the switch.
Finally, Vince, Tej, Rico, and Tego swung into action. The garbage truck pulled up alongside Dom and Brian, and with practiced precision, they loaded the vault into the truck and detached the cables under Tej's presence in the back of the truck. As Dom and Brian moved to the front of the truck Rico and Tego attached new cables to their cars that were attached to the fake vault that was empty. By the time the police and Reyes's men realized what had happened, we were already en route to the rendezvous point, the real safe secured in the back of the garbage truck heading to our safe house.
I peeled off to return to the police station and pick up Elena. Switching my bike for a Yamaha R1 from my inventory, I reached the station without issue, finding Elena waiting outside. Our part of the plan was done, so we headed back to the safe house.
Meanwhile, Dom and Brian carried out the movie's iconic moves. Dom detached Brian's cable, letting him escape, while he sped towards Reyes, pulling the vault on a nitro boost. Dom expertly manoeuvred, using the vault like a wrecking ball to clear police vehicles. With a final strike, he rolled the vault like a yoyo, decimating Reyes's convoy and crushing Reyes's car beneath his car that flew off into the air and dropped on top of Reyes's due to the weight of the vault.
Though Reyes and his lieutenant survived, Brian returned to finish them off. With the police force in disarray, Dom and Brian made their escape and returned to the safehouse.
The safehouse was attacked as expected, but Gisele and Letty swiftly took care of the intruders, securing the perimeter before they could pose any real threat. Finally, the moment of tension arrived. After much anticipation, Tej cracked the password, then scanned Reyes's fingerprints, and with a resounding click, the vault's locks opened. Everyone was very happy seeing all that $100 million stacked up inside. My women and I didn't take a share as I have unlimited cash flow leaving them to share the money with each getting a $11 million.
The heist was a success.
