The break was almost over.
"Brother, shall we head to the arena?" Cail asked determinedly.
"..."
Xander, who was still sitting outside the arena on a nearby bench, looked at his surroundings.
The people started to hurry inside.
"Go first. I still have some business here."
"But there isn't much time lef-"
"I said that you should leave. Now." Xander repeated in an annoyed tone as he sharpened his gaze.
"U-understood..." Cail replied weakly.
With his head hung low, Cail headed to the arena.
And when he finally disappeared from Xander's eyesight, a person, wearing a coat, sat down beside him.
"Are you all here now?" Xander asked, without looking at the person.
"Yes. The others have scattered themselves amongst the people." the person, who sounded like a guy Xander's age, replied.
"And how is it looking on the other side?"
"Everything's ready. We're only waiting for the signal."
