Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Story of loss.

August 12, 2004.

A child born in Bordeaux, France in a Japanese household; his older brother looking at him said 'why is he so tiny .' Both parents laughed at the ignorant question of their firstborn who was only 5 years of age and then the midwife asked; "What will you name him?" They starred at each other then answered almost simultaneously "Sozan, his name is Nakigawa Sozan." 'A good name .' The midwife replied satisfied before walking out to give the couple space.

The family of the Nakigawas is a special one, entrusted with the responsibility of guarding a sacred scripture of ancient Hebrew origin. The scripture manifests itself as a blade based on it's wielder. Only the one from the head family of the Nakigawa household can wield the scripture an make it manifest. Those capable of wielding it's true form are marked by a tattoo on the neck at birth. But among the family members capable of wielding the blade there was one exception,

the first born of the head family, Nakigawa Aizen, a young boy who at birth summoned the will of the scripture and destroyed the hospital he was born in.

(October 4, 2009.)

During training hours at the Nakigawa hold young boys were training as was the custom to preserve Japanese culture even in France. The now five year old Sozan was watching his older brother practice with a wooden sword to refine his sword skills.

Sozan didn't really care much for sword training as much as his brother. He could wield Abaddon as well but didn't care to because he knew he could never take his brothers place.

While he watched his brother practice, he noticed smoke rising at the gate of the estate he raised an alarm and guards came and took him and his brother inside to a safe room

Sochiro their father sensed something was up and rushed out with the guards. The gate had been burst open by an explosion and a man stood in amidst the smoke. He recognized the man in the smoke, it was an old enemy and an even older friend, the man name was 'Er', a jewel of a man with white skin, pointed ears and gold coloured eyes. His hair was long and silky, jet black in color. His face lacked emotion but his eyes were evil.

Sochiro drew Abaddon from its sheath and rushed toward the man but two men jumped him from out of nowhere, it seems that they hid in the smoke and pointed two pistols at his head. But in that moment Sochiro drew his sword and the two men were shredded to pieces. Er smiled and said "remember when you said you'll never release that scripture again". Sochiro answered "I know what you want but you'll never get this scripture." And rushed toward Er with the blade of Abaddon drawn but the man pulled out a sheath of some kind and blocked Abaddon's thrust

Sochiro was astonished, it's meant to be impossible for any thing to resist the destruction of Abaddon. *So what is this weapon* Sochiro thought.

Er laughed at his alarm and said "are you surprised, you shouldn't forget that destruction has a brother". Sochiro drew back and screamed where did you get that abomination from. Not even a member of the Nakigawa family should be able to wield that scripture, 'Sheol the scripture of death'. Er said "true but I didn't draw the blade, if I draw it I'll probably die on the spot." So I use it sheathed. "Because of this I can't let you leave here alive" but while he was still speaking Er rushed him and hit him with the sheath. Sochiro fell straight to his knees and coughed out blood. He looked at his groin that was hit but there was no injury, he looked up. Er smiled and explained "are you wondering what happened let me elaborate on this scripture, it doesn't cut their surface of things when sheathed but it rips internal organs apart, causing death even when sealed. So be assured you will soon pass on.

Meanwhile in the safe room Aizen was feeling uneasy and made up his mind to help his father chase away any intruder

Sozan said"Ni San, were are you going." Aizen patted his head and said"I'll be back with father so don't worry about me OK" and then left the room to go and aid his father. Reaching there he saw his father kneeling and screamed Shishiwe. Sochiro who was already fading away in death turned and seeing his firstborn began chanting an incantation and said in a loud voice "I seal you to my son Aizen, he is hereby your master, protect him and guide him as you wish." The blade immediately fell to the ground and turned into a stone tablet, wings sprouted from the tablet and it flew to Aizen and piercing his back it took him away. Aizen screamed for his father as the sword took him away.

Sochiro looking back at Er and seeing his angered expression smiled as he was dying. But as he was drawing his last breath he remembered his second son, Sozan and as the thought of his son passed his mind, he died. Er began kicking Sochiro's dead body in a fit of rage and then decided to enact a brutal vengeance against the Nakigawa household by killing every last survivor.

As he went about killing everyone he could find, his anger subsided and he was about to leave when heard the sound of a sulking child from a locked room. He broke down the door and saw a child, he immediately recognized the mark on his neck and used Sheol to hit him but instead of killing the boy Sheol turned into a tablet and fused with the boy. Er was astonished at this turn of events and smiled. Picking up the boy who now laid unconscious with a stone tablet hanging by his wrist, he proceeded to leave when an older child approached him saying drop my cousin, but Er just looked at him and picked him up as well and then disappeared without a trace.

That day 17 people died 7 men 6 women and 4 children, while 3 children were reported missing.
