Charlotte thought that Lesley would be joining them. But because she was drunk, after finishing a bottle of champagne, she canceled and Jace was tired as well. So, it will be just her and him. She wore the dress that he chose for her including the shoes. She felt conscious about her clothes. She also managed some light makeup.
"Beautiful." He said as he extended his hand as she reached it and she took the last step from the stairs. Lesley and Jace were waving at them, grinning.
"Enjoy!"
Upon reaching out of the house, she sighed.
"I felt manipulated."
"You look good." He smiled as he opened the door for her. She hopped in and he went around to the other door. They went to the Shangri-La at Fort in BGC. Upon entering, everything was already fancy in very European interiors. Then, they went upstairs to Raging Bull Chophouse & Bar. He knew the Chef personally. She also found out that it was his first time to dine in and eat. He cooked for himself or had the Chef cook in front of him with full gloves on, mask, and hairnet. He's strict with it.
"I thought you wouldn't eat out." She said and looked up at him.
"I don't. Until you. Unless I am with you." The host led them to their seats by the glass window. Then, the Chef approached them personally and he smiled. Charlotte thought that he was charming if he smiled a lot.
Charlotte let him choose whatever he wanted. Steak. She cringed a little.
"I don't want rare~~"
"Well done is not good. But we'll have the medium well." He told her.
She nodded her head and just went along with it. She looked at the fancy bar on the corner and checked everything around.
"Well, anything else, darling?" He asked.
"No. I'm fine with whatever you order." She said and she peeked at the window. "You didn't book for four, right?"
Donovan smiled lopsidedly as he tilted his head to his right.
"I will do everything to take you out on a dinner date. Next time, I'll cook."
She pressed her lips and just shrugged.
"Whatever, Donovan." She will just wait for the man to leave the country. Her life will be peaceful. She's also sure that he might find a suitable girlfriend back there.
"Charlotte, I hate it when you ignore me like this." Donovan smiled. "Come on." He extended his hand as she looked at it.
"I don't want to argue with you, Donovan."
"This is called talking." He smiled. "Alright, let's talk about something else." He took out his phone and handed it to her. "This will be your house. Two master bedrooms. One for us and one for Lesley with three guest rooms and a staff room."
"For us?" She frowned as she scrolled through the photos.
"It's fully furnished as well. It has a pool and a nearby tennis court. Then, there's a grocery store close by as well. So, do you like it?"
She didn't know how to answer him as she stared at him.
"Donovan, it's your house. Not mine. And the fact that you tell the staff of the Apartment that I'm moving is very controlling of you."
"I'm sorry, darling. But this is how things work."
"This is how you control your people. I don't like being controlled."
"Then, accept it as a gift and Lesley wanted to live with you badly. You can kick her out~~"
"I am not that rude." She rolled her eyes.
Donovan was more and more attracted to her. The way she rolled her eyes. Zoe's attitude was almost close to hers. But Zoe seduced him more than Charlotte does. Shortly, a man approached them.
"Sir, I had brought the documents." The man in a suit said and gave the envelope. He took it out as the man also provided a fountain pen. He read the documents and handed them to Charlotte.
"Sign this."
She took it and read it as she frowned.
"This is~~" She mumbled.
"Come on, darling. We won't leave until you sign that. You will be here all night. I can rent the whole place as well."
"You are threatening me already." She frowned as it was stated that the payment was settled that fast. Then, it just needed her signature. She hesitated for a while and it all stated that the property was hers. She doesn't know what else Donovan wanted from her besides dating and sex.
"Come on, love. I'm getting impatient."
She frowned at him as she signed it anyway.
Then, the lawyer handed out the small box to her.
"This is the key and code to the house, miss. Congratulations on your new house."
"Th-Thank you?" She looked at Donovan who smiled and pleased. Shortly, the lawyer left and then their food was served. First with the appetizer. Then, next was the main course with the side dishes. The steak was already sliced and it was so tender. It was pink in the middle and she didn't know if it was rare. But a rare steak had a little blood. It was said to be medium well.
"It's good." He said when she didn't touch her steak. "You are more picky."
"I'm not picky. I am picky when it's not well-cooked. But," She took her first bite as she nodded her head. "It's good."
He smiled at her but his eyes were burning with passion. So, it would look like he's seducing her with that passionate plan.
"We are going to visit the house tonight. I am sure that you had enough sleep."
"I do. We drank a lot and had a pizza party. Just me and Lesley."
"Great. That's good. At least Lesley wasn't bored."
They enjoyed their meal and finally had a little drink. She preferred drinking water as the Champagne did bad to her stomach. She went to the bathroom after their meal and he was waiting outside. After she washed up her hands, he put his hand on the other side of her waist as he bent down.
"Or we can get a room here." He whispered.
"No." She frowned at him as he laughed and pulled her closer as he kissed her temple. "Let's see this house and finish this so you can sleep. Don't think about other things."
"Like what?" He asked as he squeezed her in his arms and kissed her head again. She doesn't know why he's this sweet. Then, her mind just lights up on the obvious. He wanted to have sex and this is why. When they got into the car, he reached for her hand and kissed it.
She had thought that tonight's tension would be cleared up and she didn't have to worry about tomorrow.
"No. We are not doing what you and Zoe did." She said as Donovan smirked.
"It's fine."
There wasn't that traffic in a few areas and they arrived safely to the house. She saw the facility where she worked when they passed by and she very missed work, because it gives her money. When they arrived there was tight security and the security guard checked on them. When they arrived at that house with a wide garage, she eyed the car.
"That's yours." He pointed at the Audi sedan as she gaped and shook her head. "It came with the house." He reached her hand as he took her to the main door. She took out the keys and then the card. He pressed the code to the smart lock door and taught her where the key was and whatnot. Upon entering, he turned on the lights as she gaped at the adorable house. It was wide and had an adorable sofa.
"Can I bring friends?" She asked.
"Sure. It's better that way rather than you going out to someone else's house."
She pressed her lips as Donovan acted very protective. She noticed that he was very, very protective. He did that a lot to Lesley. They visit the rooms and the first master's bedroom which is the biggest room with a balcony directed to the sunlight. The air conditioner was already open when they entered. There's one in the living room and then, there were more to the rooms. She opened the empty closet and it has a mini-walk-in closet. He sat on the bed and patted it.
"Test the bed." He said as she stared at it then, she threw her body there and she stared at the ceiling.
"It's comfortable."
He cornered her and grinned.
"Alright," He bent down and kissed her lips. She didn't give him much expression.
"Are you seeking payment for everything you just spent?"
"No. I am not. I am simply seducing you." He finally let her go and sat beside them.
"Well, it won't go as you plan." She sat up and fixed her dress.
"I am not done yet." He said as he turned on the television. "You haven't watched our lovemaking."
She frowned at him and was about to grab the remote from him, but he moved it away. He made it fast forward as she gaped at how they made it with passion.
"You!" She growled at him as he laughed. "This is not funny."
"Honey," He increased the volume, and they were both moaning, and it did something to her.
"Turn it off!"
"No." He stared at her as she grabbed the pillow and started hitting him like crazy.
"Dono, baby. I want more." Zoe said as Charlotte froze and turned her head at the camera as Zoe straddled Donovan and kissed him. "Don, baby… please… more."
"I want more as well, Charlotte," Donovan said. "If you want, we can get married right away. Just by my side until we both grow old and get tired of each other."
