Charlotte jolted out as she quickly went to the corner and hugged herself. All she could see was dark and a bulky man who was ready to beat her up. She was sobbing and trying to remove the cuff.
"Donovan, please."
Donovan was puzzled at Charlotte's reaction.
"Get back here, Charlotte." He commanded. He knew from the start that the wimpy girl was Charlotte. He turned on the lights as he approached her. He then reached her chin. "Autumn sneak out last night. She even ran off from the security. Where did she go?"
Charlotte was puzzled.
"I~~I don't know…" She mumbled. Her lips was shaking as well. She looked so terrified. He titled his head and somehow, this terrified puppy was adorable. He picked her up from there and put her over the bed.
"You don't know? I have the key and once you tell me everything, I can release you." Donovan said as he patted her head. She shuddered.
