Gatsby watched over and over again how Zoephie told the last time he remembered. She was back in their castle in Luxembourg and she was playing with the boy named Jace while the boy who looked like Donovan was reading something on the bench.
There was also Gil and his older brother. That's when her father promised her that they would go to the amusement park or a trip to Disney yet it never happened. She was disappointed that she cried all night when it was canceled and her mother was comforting her.
"I'm glad that we went to the amusement park although it wasn't Disneyland." She said. Gatsby never expected her simple words that hurt him so much. He had a lot of regrets. He should've spent more time with his family and taken her to wherever she wanted to go. He never expected something to turn downhill. They never let her starve yet she had gone through a lot. Hunger, abuse… and he doesn't want her to witness how her mother died.
